        Wonderful Tour Experience
We loved our experience with Black Taxi Tour of London. Our guide was Nick, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He was very knowledgeable of London and its history...we learned so much more than had we toured on our own. He went above and beyond to get us to various sights and was accommodating to our requests and needs. He even took several photos of our group for us at historical sights. I highly recommend Black Taxi Tour to anyone seeking a quality tour.

Amazing even if you’ve been to London before
Keith was our guide and was outstanding. We’ve been to London a few times before and visited many places and tourist attractions. However, Keith managed to surprise my wife and me by showing us many hidden gems and sharing the story behind each one. Keith really knows his business and made the evening a delightful experience. It’s also worth mentioning that the trip in his taxi saved us from the annoying task of handling our luggage all over London. I leave this review confident that it will encourage anyone who loves exploring London and appreciates a good guide to find this experience truly worthwhile.

        Excellent tour
We were just in London on a layover so I wanted to see as much of London as possible in 4 hours. This tour was perfect, as we were able to hit all of the highlights plus a couple of extra requests including 221B Baker St and get back to Paddington in time to make the train back to our flight. Dennis was a wealth of knowledge and very personable, we enjoyed having him as our driver and guide. He gave us some great tips on things to do the next time we’re around also. All in all, I couldn’t be more pleased with the tour. Everything we hoped for.

        1st time in London
Stella was an amazing tour guide for our half day tour. She pivoted, customizing the tour to our last minute request to see Abby Road. Would not hesitate to book another tour.

        Amazing
We had an amazing tour with Rachel. She was a delight and our grandchildren had a great time. They are still talking about what they learned. She was able to relate to the boys (10 and 13) and they never got bored. Highly recommended.

Amazing Day trip to Bath and Stonehenge
I had an excellent experience with Sean as my driver and tour guide. I was picked up from my hotel in london in a black taxi van for the today. We managed to visit the city of Bath, where we visited the Roman Baths, walk around the city (Royal crescent, Putleney Bridge, etc.). Next we drove to Stonehenge but took a drive through the picturesque towns in Somerset. At Stonehenge, we managed to skip the long queue and go directly to the site. Sean managed to know the sites, history, and short cuts to make your day trip highly enjoyable and rewarding. Highly recommended.

Wonderful London vacation because we had a wonderful Black Taxi Tour Guide.
We took 4 different tours guided and driven by Rachel M-P. On the get go Rachel made us feel welcomed. She was engaging and had a great sense of humor. Very knowledgeable of the sites history we visited in London. She also made sure we are safe, looking out for us as we navigate through crowds. Her energy is admirable. She made sure we were having fun. She contributed to a really wonderful London vacation for us. Thank you, Rachel!

A Perfect Intro to London on Day One of your Visit.
Picked this tour as an easy way to introduce my siblings to London on the first day of where I had visited many times before. Plans were made for future other Viator tours to major places such as Westminster Abbey and Tower of London so our guide David was able to tailor a great four hour overview of the city he loves and took us to meaningful places while driving around the obligatory first time views. He knows his " ABC" and where the best pit stop in London is located. Go book David as he is insightful and will explain the meaning of ABC and where to take a rest!

This had to be the highlight of the week for my boys and I who love the Beatles. Steve (our black cab driver) was simply amazing and knowledgeable about the history of the Beatles and he took us to so many places along the tour to give us a history of the Beatles as well great site seeing of London along the way. Steve was an absolutely brilliant tour guide as he share so much knowledge of the Beatles (as well as other great musicians) throughout the tour. There is no way we could have done this on our own and Steve knew great hole in the wall places that made this event so authentic and he really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. You can tell this was not a job but a passion to make the experience one the we would remember for a life time. I was so happy with the event and would strongly recommend it to others. Thank you, Charlie

Peter was a wonderful, informative, and knowledgeable guide and made sure we saw everything important about the Beatles! Many of the true facts we had not heard of. Peter made this tour so much fun and will quiz you on facts! He also included information on other artists from the UK. SO COOL and FUN!

I’ve been back in the USA for over a week now and I still can’t stop talking about this adventure. I took my dad for Father’s Day because he is a diehard Beatles fan and we had so much fun. Moses was absolutely wonderful and made us feel like we were back in London during Beatlemania! He also took great photos so our memories will last a life time. MUST DO with Moses while in London!

This Beatles Black Taxi Tour was absolutely amazing!!! I wish I could rate 10 stars. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see The Beatles side of London! What truly made this experience one of a kind was our tour guide David B!! He was so knowledgeable, kind, and creative! The way he organized the tour was impeccable. He brought true love for the Beatles and the element of surprise together! My father and I will always remember this tour because of David. Thank you so much! Forever apart of our memories and hearts.

We booked the Jack the Ripper tour in addition to the Beatles tour. Wonderful communication before our trip. Mick arrived in a very clean and comfortable taxi. He was a wealth of information. He took us to all of the pertinent stops. We got out at the stops and he explained the stop in detail. Mick possesses an incredible personality! This trip was to celebrate our son’s graduation. Our son loved Mick. My only regret is not booking more tours with them.

Paula was excellent! It was my daughters birthday and she loves the Beatles. Paula showed up with birthday banners in her cab and birthday pins. We went to all the regular stops like abbey road, Seville studios but she also took us to Paul’s house that he still lives in, the apartments where they lived in the early days but the very special stop was at the British library to see hand written lyrics by John and Paul. This was a double surprise as my husband loves history so we were also able to see the magna carta. Loved the hard days night stop where you see the Beatles running for the train. Thank you again Paula and thank you for the attention and care you put into the tour. Great pubs for lunch!

Peter was the best tour guide and is really switched on to music history. We were left with a look book of all the places we went and links to the important facts on our tour plus pictures at every stop (yes, of course even the Abby Road crossing). We had so much fun! Wear comfortable shoes as Pete will keep you on your toes.

In the footsteps of Beatles is the best way I have experienced to see a city. 4 hours with a privat guide that knows not only Beatles but also London. You spend about 2 hours in taxi in 2 hours walking and listening.

My children, grandchildren, and I had the great pleasure of two Black Hat Taxi private tours in London with Tim Brosnan in October 2022, and both were fabulous. Tim is a knowledgeable and very entertaining guide whom I strongly recommend for a great London experience.

This review is of the “Beatles with a strong side of Soho Rock & Roll history” tour. If you appreciate the music from London that changed the world in the 1960s and 70s, it’s a tour you don’t want to miss!

Tim began the tour in the Marylebone burrough of London with the places where the Beatles made their music and left their mark on pop culture. This included Abbey Road Studios where, after being rejected by many other record labels in London, the Beatles recorded almost every song they made. In addition to the photo op of our walk across Abbey Road, Tim told us stories about the people, music, and cultural influence that came out of this legendary studio.

The Beatles part of the tour also took us to the Marylebone train station where my grandkids, kids, and I got a chance to reenact the opening scene from the Beatles movie, A Hard Day’s Night when the Beatles were chased down the street by crazed fans. Watching the video he took of us running down the street will always bring a smile to my face.

From there, we went to some of the neighborhoods where the Beatles lived in the 60’s including the house where Ringo lived for a while before John and Yoko moved in as well as where Paul lived when he was dating Jane Asher. Tim brought these homes alive with stories of Paul’s “escape route” out of the Asher house to avoid being attacked by fans, John and Yoko’s nude photo shoot that made it onto the Two Virgins album cover and, best of all for me, Paul McCartney’s home. Sir Paul’s home in St. John’s Wood, I found out, has been his residence in London since the mid-1960s – before Eleanor Rigby – and it remains his London home today. On the sidewalk in front of his house I collected a few leaves that had fallen from a tree on Paul’s property. The leaves are now framed and hung on a wall in my home – a simple-yet-fabulous piece of Beatles memorabilia made possible by Tim’s knowledge and stories of the Beatles.

After the Beatles part of the tour, we headed to Soho, which was another hotbed of rock-and-roll in the 1960s. There, we found the pubs and nightlcubs where many of the great bands of that era got their starts including The Who, Jimi Hendrix the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the list goes on. Tim also showed us the hidden pubs where these musical greats spent their downtime drinking beer and sharing stories. At the end of it all, my entire family got a real sense of an era when pop culture around the world was being defined at these very spots in London.

Tim finished the tour with a stop at 3 Saville Row where the Beatles played their last public concert on the rooftop – a fitting ending for both the Beatles and our tour.

In addition to his deep knowledge of that era and the places and people that were part of it, Tim had style and a sense of humor that couldn’t be beat. He connected with my children and grandchildren as he told his stories, and they were enchanted by it all. Maybe his best magic trick was his knowledge of the places where he could park his taxi that, because of London parking rules, others could not. His parking magic ensured that for every place we visited, we had a short walk to see what we had come for.

If a tour of the Beatles in London and London’s role in pop culture in the 60s and 70s is of interest to you, there is no better way to do it than with Tim Brosnan as your guide. I’ve been to many countries and taken many guided tours and there were none led by a better guide than Tim Brosnan. He knew what he was doing at every turn, and he conveyed his stories to us in ways that were always both informative and entertaining. If you get a chance to take a ride with Tim, don’t miss it!
