          Interesting, informative and humorous.
Fantastic walking tour with Nigel. We started near the Tower of London viewing the remains of the Roman wall, before going down to see Tower Bridge. We visited Leadenhall Market, where Nigel took us into a local hairdresser where there is a Roman surprise in the basement. We visited a temple, the Bank of England and Borough Market, where we had a lovely lunch. There was so much more that we saw, all explained expertly by Nigel in an informative and humorous way. Would highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic tour for all ages. Nigel is the best
Amazing tour. Nigel is an exceptional guide—a wealth of knowledge and he made it so much fun. My 13 year old son and I were fascinated by his insights and anecdotes from British history and culture. Of course Hampton Court and Windsor are remarkable places to visit on their own but Nigel knew just what to see and when so that we could see the most interesting things without getting bogged down or feeling overwhelmed. He also has a wonderful eye for photography. Our pics from Hampton Court that he took are gorgeous. Be sure to ask him for other tips for places to go in London. We’ve had multiple tours and guides by other providers but Homers Odysseys and Nigel were far and away the best. We WILL book again.

Private and customizable tours by car by a former history teacher and driver for NBC!
Due to COVID and traveling with two small children, I wanted to limit exposure via public transportation and was very very fortunate to stumble upon Nigel Homer's aptly named "Homer's Odysseys". We were able to book his spacious private vehicle to transport us from our hotel in London to Oxford (where we met up with a separately booked Harry Potter tour which provided us with tickets to Christchurch) at a very early hour. Nigel then drove us to Blenheim Palace and provided us with a fantastic tour of the palace and grounds. He also provided us with interesting anecdotes of the various places we passed including information about the Battle of Britain and Winston Churchill. We were especially lucky as it turned out that there was a rail/tube strike that day and we would not have been able to visit these sites if we didn't have Nigel! I also can't communicate enough how pleasant and informative the conversation was despite the incredibly long day (730am to around 530pm). Well worth the money and will definitely book again!

          London’s 2000 Year History: 43 to 2019
We had met Nigel Homer earlier in December when he guided us on the Rabbies Oxford & Traditional Cotwold Villages 1 Day Tour. We had such a wonderful day that we booked Nigel again. Nigel has such a delightful manner, is extremely knowledgeable & has a very inviting sense of humour all of which enables him to deliver the most relaxed, comfortable, fun & enjoyable tour. Thank you so much & best wishes, Nigel. 👏

          We didn’t get to go!
The driver didn’t show up where we were told to go, then we saw a bunch of other people riding across London! And we even booked before them.😡

          Absolutely amazing 5 days!!
I have been lucky enough to go on many privately guided tours of Europe, and Nigel from Homer's Odysseys was my favorite guide by far! A dream of mine for many years has been to visit the South West coast of England, and to see the most beautiful sites of Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. When planning the tour, Nigel was a great communicator and first asked me for a list of sites I was most eager to visit. He then filled in the extra time with additional favorites of his own. And WOW! I was beyond blown away by all we saw in just five days! Nigel was both informative and entertaining, making every moment exceptional. I'm already planning another tour with him, this time to France!

          Classic Cars
We are regular visitors to Leeds Castle as it is a safe place with gentle walks and ever changing nature but last weekend they had a Classic Car show and if you ever get the chance to go, take it! Get there early to avoid the traffic and see cars from some of the oldest to the fastest, from Rolls Royce to VW Campers, from Ford Escorts Mk1's to WW2 Ford Jeeps. Plenty of stuff for the kids, food outlets and even a bar, and some great displays of driving too! Sorry if this sounds like an advert but it was very good indeed!
