Amazing boat journey along the Thames … fantastic tour guide ‘Mick’ made sure the trip was informative as well as good fun! Funny jokes which created a happy atmosphere along with brilliant knowledge of this beautiful city .. would definitely recommend this good value for money trip .. the little binoculars for our 6 yr old grandson were definitely worth the £5.00 extra

We booked a guided sightseeing tour along with our flight in the london eye. We were a group of eight ranging in ages and abilities. Initially I was not impressed with how the queuing system works, we had pre booked our tickets but until you have reached the top of the jetty it is not clear that there are two entrances one for pre booked and the other for the ticket office ( we were not the only people caught out by this) As a result this meant we missed our booked tour, the lady on the jetty loading the boats was very rude when we first arrived and basically told us we had missed our sailing and there is nothing that could be done about it, they were fully booked for the rest of the day.
I went to the ticket office and re-joined the queue where I was eventually served by a very helpful lady who when I explained what had happened was in agreement that it wasn’t clear to passengers how the queue worked, she very quickly took our booking information and printed out tickets for the next boat. This took almost an hour to sort out but I was very impressed with how this lady handled my issue and did all she could to re-book our experience with minimum impact to our day.
We boarded the boat at 13:30 and the experience just got better and better!
The crew were very helpful whilst assisting everyone to board especially those in our group with mobility issues.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour which was very informative with the added humour by the guide Mick. He had a brilliant way of keeping everyone engaged with the history and landmarks we were passing with a very funny twist that kept us laughing for the rest of the day.
We took the tour to Tower bridge and back to Westminster and this was enough for the younger members of our group but the adults had agreed that we could of done the longer tour that was available.
All in all a brilliant way to see London and very enjoyable for all ages and abilities.

This was a brilliant activity whilst in London with two small children and much cheaper than the London Eye itself especially when booked in advance. To be honest we all preferred this to the London Eye.
Special mention to Jane the tour guide who gave us excellent commentary of all the landmarks on the river that we passed and delivered plenty of humour as well in a way that made it feel that was the first time she'd ever made those jokes, credit to the company.
Everyone was very friendly, alcohol/food and drinks also available on board, plenty of seats both outside and inside and you can tick off many landmarks without leaving your seat over the 45 minute trip.

I really enjoyed this river cruise. The tour guide/host was very knowledgeable and gave a great audio guide during the cruise, pointing out locations of interest. Sadly, it ended up very windy on our return journey which made sitting outside quite uncomfortable however, this was no fault of the company and just unfortunate luck. I would recommend doing on a nice day where possible!

Seating available inside and outside.

Bar onboard is very expensive! It was £8 for a small pre mixed cocktail can that you could buy from a supermarket for £1. I understand London is expensive but that just seemed ridiculous.
The bartender was extremely slow. There was no till and he seemed to be adding up on a calculator and tallying sheets which he took a very long time to do. He was the only one working and a large queue started to form behind me.
A LITTLE TIP: it really is worth booking this in advance. I believe I saw a sign to say the on the day price of the dungeon was around £50pp. I booked The London Dungeon, The London Eye and a Thames River cruise together for £53pp courtesy of lastminute.com. You can also choose flexible booking times and spread them over the next 30 days if you don’t want to do all activities on the same day!

Absolutely great experience on the cruise, with Mick out guide, very funny (not sure about his jokes though🤣🤣🤣). Very informative on Thames history.
Tower Bridge was open for a sail boat to go through and we were right behind it, which was a great experience as many times I've been to Tower Bridge nd it's never been open.
Highly recommend, today is Sunday 12th September 2021 price £13/adult about 45mins

The river cruise was an excellent experience for us. We would really recommend it to anyone visiting London. Two particular aspects made all the difference: 1) the weather - the sky was blue, full of sunshine which is very unusual; 2) our tour guide, Elliot, is very enthusiastic and funny. He managed to keep our attention all the time, made us laugh, and taught us interesting stuff about the river Thames, the bridges, and important building. A funny tour guide like Elliot is also very unusual (the guides are often very boring).

A great crew who held the boat a minute so our group of 14 could board having rushed off the London Eye (allow more than an hour between the start of your London Eye and Boat Trip start times). Jordan the commentator made the trip with his jokes and information as we cruised up and down the Thames. Recommended

Had a really great time on the river cruise yesterday. Mick was the tour guide and he was brilliant. Making silly jokes, telling us lots of interesting facts about the different landmarks and told us to absolutely not look at the people in the sauna with backwards windows so we could see them but they couldn't see us 🤣 good value for money and very educational. Very fun. A good thing to do for all the family. And a good amount of time so it doesn't get boring

77 children and 10 adults had an amazing time on the London Eye River Cruise. The staff were friendly and helpful from the start but our tour guide Mick was amazing. Not only did he teach the children lots of interesting facts about the sights of London he kept them entertained throughout and made the adults laugh too. He really did do a great job. Thank you

The London eye was a great experience and gave a different perspective of London although it was expensive for what you get. There was plenty of room to walk about and take photos within the pods that take you up. Face masks were worn by all. I saw the staff cleaning the pods after each trip.
The river cruise was my favourite, the tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. We saw a lot of important buildings and landmarks on the 40-45 min trip. Well worth the money

Looked online and it says Child age: 3-15 • Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) • Children under 3 years old go free but will require a ticket as 'under 3'.

How can I combine the cruise and the london eye?
I have tickets for both, I have an specific time for the cruise and I've read that I just should be there like 15' before that indicated time.
But I have doubts on the london eye timing, how much time do I need between cruise and London eye? would I have to queue even if I have my ticket for the london eye with an specific time?
One more question, are buggies/strollers allowed in london eye and the cruise? I've read that they are but I've also found some info stating that they are not...
