- RaveCity670 contributionsFabulous tourFabulous tour. I learnt so much in a fun and accessible way. Steph, the tour guide, was enthusiastic and very knowledgable. Incredible value for money too.Written January 19, 2025
- M8449JZpatriciag0 contributionsWonderful Guide and TourEmily was a knowledgeable and friendly guide, able to clearly explain social issues, immigration, economics, and more. It was just the right blend of walking, looking, and listening. Highly recommend. Thank you.Written January 13, 2025
- FrancesAndLee0 contributionsFascinating guided walkWe are a group of old friends who like to meet up and spend time doing something together. We have now done 3 of Becky’s walks and have enjoyed them all. We chose this one as it sounded interesting and it was fascinating. We walked through the Museum and heard about exhibits that ordinarily we would have probably just glanced at. Becky is so knowledgeable and her dynamic story telling approach is totally absorbing! Thought provoking perspectives on women and stories that should be known more widely. Highly recommend these walks. Thanks Becky.Written January 10, 2025
- Safari227617620690 contributionsWonderful tour and knowledgeable guideI had Steph and she was wonderful, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour was fully thought out and researched, and hit a perfect balance of learning but not pure academia. 100% recommend.Written December 17, 2024
- amandaharris10 contributionsAmazing stories of woment in BloomsburyWe went on the Women of Bloomsbury Walking Tour with Becky as our tour guide. The tour was well structured with stops at various locations with a story. The stories were very amazing windows on to the lives and achievements of individual women living and working in the area. Becky was very animated and knowledgeable and held our attention for the whole tour. A great experience.Written December 16, 2024
- P6998LSrhondag0 contributionsExcellent (and fun!) Historical TourThe Women of Bloomsbury tour guided by Becky was a fantastic experience. The locations and stories highlighted were very interesting and presented with such fluency. The tour guide was superb and crafted her storytelling with just the right amount of information and entertainment factor. Highly recommend this tour. I plan to sign up for the other tours offered by this company.Written December 13, 2024
- 888elaineh0 contributionsFascinating, informative, enjoyableExcellent, well-constructed tour; highly recommended. We were really impressed with Becky's knowledge and her style of presentation. Worth visiting London for! We will definitely book another tour for our next stay in the city.Written December 4, 2024
- 882marinkev0 contributionsFabulous Feminists!Over 2.5 hours we immersed ourselves as Walking Women in the lives and stories of the Working Women of the East End. So many amazing stories of community organizers, magistrates, trade unionists avant la lettre etc. who trailblazed the way for general voting rights, bodily autonomy, labour rights. Learned so much from our guide Becky, who amplified the voices and gave them agency and dignity.Written November 5, 2024
- chriseT3346SS0 contributionsGreat tour guide, great historyI bought this a birthday present for my partner and we had a brilliant time. Becky was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and the tour was perfectly judged in terms of walking distances and points of interest. We had, perhaps shamefully, little prior knowledge of the history Becky spoke about, which made it really worth while.Written October 18, 2024
- Danielle I0 contributionsWonderful tour!I did the Working Women of East London tour with Emily a few days ago. We learned so much about these incredible women and got to see parts of London that I would have never found on my own. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon, and Emily was a fantastic guide. I wish I had time to do the other tours!Written September 25, 2024
- wendybS9478XM0 contributionsAn excellent perspective on women in historyA fascinating tour highlighting many items in the British museum that I had not seen before and which were heartlifting representations of women throughout history. A small, friendly group so we could have lots of discussion. Highly recommended.Written September 23, 2024
- 377debbrar0 contributionsGreat tour!We had Becky as our guide, and she was fantastic! She was incredibly knowledgeable not only about the main topic but also the entire area. The tour was rich in detail, offering great specifics about the subject matter while also giving insights into nearby attractions. It was informative and enjoyable—a perfect blend of learning and sightseeing!”Written August 25, 2024
- Merojas0 contributionsTransformative walking tour!Incredibly informative and important walking tour. We live near Bloomsbury and walk there often; after this tour, we feel such a strong connection to the women who transformed the world while living in Bloomsbury. We left with a totally new relationship to this place that we love and a fantastic reading list! To brilliant Becky, thank you so much, and to the Bloomsbury curious, look no further than this tour!Written August 6, 2024
- MarialisaM50 contributionsFantastic experience!I attended both the Westminster and East London tours and I found both experiences extremely interesting and fascinating. Not only because I learned a lot (sadly - no one's interested in the history of women - unless they are queens of course), but because both guides were able to make it reletable. I highly recommend them!Written July 23, 2024
- FrancesAndLee0 contributionsHighly recommend East End tourWe spent a grey Monday afternoon walking round the East End. Our guide was so impressive and she brought history to life in sharing stories of the amazing women who lived and worked in this area. We learnt so much and our concentration never lapsed. Thanks so much!Written July 16, 2024

This is the third tour I’ve done with Women of London and (clearly) I’m a fan. Becky and Charlotte are incredibly well spoken, knowledgeable guides and the stories they tell about the women who lived, worked and changed this city are inspiring and interesting every time. So well researched, these tours are a fun way to learn something new about the city you’re visiting (or live in) while enjoying London the best way possible: by walking through it.
There is no way I won’t do the other tour I’m missing in the portfolio, should I get the chance.

We have done a couple of these tours and they are amazing! I can't rate them highly enough. Becky was so knowledgable and interesting and we learnt so much. We were mixed genders and all of us found it fascinating and honestly so revealing, insightful and motivating! Loved it and will be bringing more people to these tours asap!

The tour was great. Becky is a fantastic storyteller and knowledgeable historian. It's clear that a lot of time has gone into researching the statues, monuments and historic places that you see on the walk. Even if you're a local (like us) you'll learn a lot. Worth every penny.

This was a fantastic tour which was both informative and fun. I already knew quite a lot about the history of notable women in the UK but I still learnt tons over the course of this tour about women in a variety of spheres from art to politics to literature to healthcare to royalty. Our guide was very friendly as well as being really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We´re definitely planning on doing other tours with this company in the future!

My flatmate and I had a great time on the Women on Westminister tour. We both learned so much about the city that we live in. It felt about 0 degrees all day, but it was worth the chill! Our guide was friendly and informative, and we discussed many topics about the women that we learned about. Could not recommend enough!
