The Museum was awarded first prize in the Best for Free Activities and Best for Learning categories in London at the 2018 Hoop Awards, and it hosts about 70 million artefacts held in five different main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. You will meet the T-Rex in the Dinosaur Gallery, and one of the most historically important dinosaur skeleton ever found, a 122-129-million-year-old, the stunning 25.2-metre-long blue whale skeleton, the giant sequoia tree and many more amazing things!

My husband and 6 yr old daughter had a lovely time going around all the dinosaur exhibits and mammal collections. We loved the moon gallery the best replica of the moon I've ever seen!!! Moon bathing is a must!!!!
