Amazing tour with extremely knowledgable guide. Comfortable transporation, well paced and friendly banter made for a perfect day. Highly recommend even for those who don't normally enjoy organized tours, this one is outstanding. Smaller group size made for a really enjoyable experience.

I cannot recommend booking The English Bus more! Our tour guide, Nolh, was absolutely spectacular and you would be lucky to get him as your guide! Everything from pick up to drop off was so easy! He kept us informed every step of the way, and even gave us plenty of rest time during the long drives. The sites you get to see are spectacular, but having The English Bus as your guide makes it even better!! You won't regret booking this tour!! Oh... and the secret place was AMAZING!! Thank you Nohl!!

I had high hopes for this day trip to Stone Henge, Bath, and a secret location and they were exceeded. Nolh was an excellent guide, thoughtful and knowledgeable. He provided many laughs throughout the day as well. The trip was well planned, and the secret place was beyond beautiful. My history loving heart was singing a bit. :) The bus was comfortable, and I thought the interior quite beautiful as far as buses can be. I'll be back to England and will be sure to book again.

The tour was fun! Our guide, Chris, was entertaining and knowledgeable. The coach was very comfortable and the group was small. I highly recommend The English Bus and I would take another tour with them.

My 19 year old daughter and I had an amazing day with Nolh and our small group! Stonehenge was magical, Bath was perfect, and the Secret Place was SO amazing. Nolh included so many fun, funny, and informative elements into the day. We will never forget it. I keep using the term 'magical' but it truly was. Don't hesitate to book- I can't recommend it enough.

My wife and I had a great day with Andy during our visit to Stonehenge, Bath and the secret place. It was nice to get out of London for the day. It took us about an hour and a half to get to Stonehenge and then about 2 hours on our return. Might sound like a lot of traveling but we were very comfortable in the van and Andy provided a nice mix of information and quiet time so both trips were fine. We both enjoyed all three stops and highly recommend going if you have interest in these spots. The small group was the main selling point for us and am happy since we only had a total of 12. I believe the maximum is 16.

Really enjoyed the tour! They did an excellent job of managing time wherein you get to see a variety of places but still have enough time to see the main sights. Our tour guides, Lucy and Nolh, were positively excellent as well! They were both extremely knowledgeable, entertaining, and catered the tour to be personalized for the people in our group. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Stonehenge and Bath with the English Bus. Our guide, Jon, was entertaining and informative. He struck a good balance between telling us about our destinations and England generally and allowing for quiet time during the drive. There was adequate time to explore Stonehenge and the museum cafe is actually quite good, which made for an easy lunch. It would take a couple days to explore Bath fully, but Jon did a good job of giving us as much time as possible within the limitations of a day trip. The final stop at the secret place was a great way to end the trip. If you're in London for a few days and want to see something outside the city, we would highly recommend this tour.

It was awesome. Tony the driver and guide gave professional guide and tour along the way. Before going on this trip, many of my colleagues didn't give good reactions on going to Stonehenge; however, with a professional guide and a small tour, so feeling been cared and filled by the history of every where we go was fantastic. After joining this small group tour, I fell in love in taking small group tour now. Really recommend to join. Thank you so much for making my trip so wonderful.

We had Cara as a tour guide and she was absolutely lovely. She knew so much about the history of the places that we went to and personalised the experience for all of us. Doing a tour in a small group was so lovely as we were able to get to know the other tour guests and we were able to take our time and enjoy the tour. Cara took great care of all of us and her bubbly personality was a big reason why we all enjoyed this tour so much. We would definitely book with this tour company again in the future.

We booked this tour looking for something more than we would find on a standard tour bus… and we got it! Taking a smaller van allowed us to see so much more than we would have in a larger tour bus. By far the highlight of our vacation. Andy was a terrific guide who was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. All of the stops were enjoyable and we had plenty of time at each one to see/do everything we wanted. We will be sure to book with the English Bus again on our next trip!

This was a good tour of several beautiful and historic locations that we have always wanted to see. Candidly though, Cara, our tour guide, was the star of this show. Her genuine and deep love of both her job and history made this one of our most enjoyable day trips. Her walking tour of Oxford was really fun. I realize you can’t control who guides your tour, but I would still ask for Cara. Thanks girl, you were a blast!

The tour was customized to the personality of the group, and these two fit right in immediately with our travelers. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for many of us, and we came away with treasured memories. I highly recommend The English Bus for tours! 10 stars!

I took the English Bus Tour from London to Stonehenge for the Winter Solstice. Because it was about a two-hour drive, pickup times were early. About halfway through the trip, we made a short stop along the highway for refreshments. Cara and Jon, our guides, were enthusiastic and good-natured and enjoyed their jobs. They had background knowledge of various places along the way, including much of the architectural history in London, and they fielded some off-beat questions. We arrived in plenty of time to “get to the stones’ before sunrise, with some history of the area provided along the way. Flashlights were provided when we arrived. Snacks and bottled water, and another coffee stop on the return trip were provided. Well worth the experience.
