Excellent, engaging tour. Learned so much!
Tour took around 1 hour and 45 minutes….it went really quickly! I’m not usually a fan of walking tours l, but Ava was an excellent tour guide - knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about street art. My 25 year old son and me learned loads. I’ll never walk past a wall with art, signatures, names and stickers without seeing them in a new light from now on. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you Ava

A must do tour for your stay in London a chance to learn about a vibrant art form from a great crew.
Our tour with Eva was great and provided insights into street art and its scene which We were not aware of. It was a treat to have a member of the London street art scene explaining the origins of street art as well as the many different forms of street art to be found. In addition to much information and so maybe examples of incredible art Eva also told us a lot about east end and its history. Definitely worth the money and time and a must do for a visit to London.

    Interesting and enjoyable.
A very interesting and enjoyable two hours. Josh, our guide, was very informative. We will now stop and look at street art and start to appreciate what's behind it. Great area to be guided around also.

Tour & Street Art Workshop - Can't Say Enough Good About This Tour
I originally thought this tour would appeal most to the teens in our party. I had no idea how much I was going to learn and how my perspective on Street Art would be changed. Not just me, actually. My wife has the same take away from this tour. Not only did the tour put me through a mental 180, I saw some of the most amazing street art that I would no way have encountered on my own. Don't hesitate to book this tour - you will get out of your comfort zone and you will thank yourself !!! ( ...and, the teens loved it !!!...)

Fantastic insider information on this London Street Art tour!
This tour was everything I wanted and more. Ava Joy, our tour guide, is super knowledgeable as a street artist herself. Her passion for the subject was apparent as she explained the history of street art as well as current trends and answered all our questions like a pro. Definitely recommend for anyone interested in street art.

    Fabulous tour!
My 12yr old grandson and I just loved our tour! Ava was so friendly, knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, and we had a fabulous afternoon. We also enjoyed having a go at spray painting ourselves afterwards. This is a great tour to do at any age. I bought it as a present for my grandson, and another grandson now wants to do the same, so I'm delighted to be able to do it again! It was also a bonus to start from Smithfield Market; a lovely place to wander around and get some lunch before the tour.

Amazing tour! Fun and full of great information.
I learned so much! Josh was so knowledgeable and passionate about the street art community. We were not originally scheduled for the workshop, but we were able to add it onto our experience- after hearing about the history and culture of street art, we wanted to try it out!

Beautiful east London tour and fun practical workshop
Took my kids 13 & 10 and had a brilliant time. We enjoyed learning about the pieces and artists as well as the political messages behind some of them. It’s a beautiful way to see East London and learn about its recent history. Ava our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. The workshop afterwards was really great fun too.

Monsoon like rain didn’t dampen our spirits and as the bike tour had to be cancelled because of the rain we took a walking tour and workshop. Led by Gary the tour was fascinating and inspiring giving us a real insight into the street artist world .

The workshop gave us a chance to show our ‘limited ‘ skills !!and also really appreciate the amazing skill levels of the artists.

Highly recommended on any trip to London

The highlight of our recent trip to London, we all loved the tour. Gary was really knowledgeable about the area and it’s rich history as well as the street art we were discovering. The workshop afterwards was really fun, we had with us two kids aged 13 and 11; we all really enjoyed ourselves. No hesitation in recommending Alternative London.

Our guide Alice did a fantastic job walking us through London’s East End showing us great examples of street art. What separated this tour was Alice’s knowledge of the artists and the background given for each of our stops. We only did the tour and not the workshop due to time constraints, but I’m sure it would have been equally fun. Easy check-in/location at Old Spitalfields Market under the white goat statue.

Book this tour now! We did the tour without the workshop, and in spite of rain, it’s one of the highlights of our trip. Eva is an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide to the constantly changing street art and graffiti art scene here. She gave wonderful historical information about the Spitalfields/Brick Lane neighborhoods, she taught my family so much about street art techniques and artists, and she just made this a wonderful way to spend a couple hours. We are now noticing works from artists highlighted on the tour all over London.

This tour was absolutely fantastic! I learned so much from our passionate and knowledgeable tour guide, Laura. It’s obvious that she truly cares about art, and she so openly shared that love with all of us as we learned all about the street art around Brick Lane. We viewed so many pieces of various art all on a great walk at an easy pace. There was also some interesting history sprinkled in. I noticed that Laura also made it a point to try to speak with everybody in the group individually, and made us all feel comfortable. I highly recommend this tour!

This was extremely well done It was education and enjoyment Josh. Our guide was excellent. He knew what he was talking about. He was informative. He was interesting, and he made it a really exciting day to learn more about how the beginning of graffiti art started and we got to see many very interesting pieces, and also walked along the main streets of brick Lane.

It was great to be taken by the hand and get so much inside knowledge about street art and graffiti. The East End district is a dream and is and is definitely a must-see when you are in London. 🥰 I could have stayed in the studio for hours, it was soooo, soooo much fun. ❤️
