Richard the leader was very good helping those who may not have been up to speed with their camera settings before we set off on a walk around parts of the City of London before finally ending up at Tate Modern. He encouraged us to take photos of buildings from different angles to achieve various effects rather than the standard shot as well as providing a brief history of some of the buildings we were photographing. Weather was perfect which was great for a November day and we had the added spectacle of the Lord Mayor's Show procession. A small group, eight of us, which was an ideal number for a tour of this nature gelled together and we all took something away from our experience.

The course was lead by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic tutor. Despite the terrible rain on the later part of the day, everyone seemed to have a great time. I certainly learnt a lot.

This was a present for my granddaughter (just 17) already a keen photographer but unused to London. Due to age she needed an accompanying adult and sweetly chose me over her (photographically competent) mum! I have no photography experience whatsoever. The excellent tutor (Vehbi Koca) through humour, excellent descriptive and practical techniques, and sheer love of his subject enthused us all from the absolute novice to the quite skilled, introducing us to new approaches and opening our eyes to see (frame and record) what is around us. He is generous in praise, and kind and helpful in criticism so we know we are learning and progressing as we go. We both felt pretty good and pleased with ourselves by the end. I for one, feel I have at last moved on from snapshots to a more creative approach to recording what is around me - while my granddaughter is studying photography at school.

This was a gift and happened to take place close to where I work but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the course. We all had different abilities and some were new to this part of London but I think we all learned something. I took away some great hints and tips as well as a newfound appreciation for a part of London I often speed through on the way to catch trains or meetings! A great course for newcomers and those wanting some new insights or a new perspective on their photography.

A really good opportunity to get some unique photos of London and its history, rather than the same old 'tourist' shots.

My husband and I did the course Street Photography last Autumn. Our tutor was excellent. He showed us the work of different photographers and we discussed what we liked in them and what made them successful pictures. After that we went out with him into the local area with projects to take pictures and later we chose our best ones. One of our challenges was to find 3 subjects linked to make a triptych.....difficult it the time but fun. The tutor was positive in his comments and informative in his teaching. We loved it.

My fiancée bought me the creative photography course as a Christmas present last year and I finally got round to booking it in April this year. I'm still quite a beginner when it comes to photography but while on this course I learnt a lot of background knowledge as well as learning new practical skills. Vehbi Koca who took the course was very helpful to any of us who were still beginners and enjoyed the day very much. Thanks for a great day! Nathan

As someone who had got a little lazy with the auto settings on my SLR camera, this tour of London sights was ideal to get me experimenting with the camera. Nice and relaxed style and informative tips helped me to refresh and rejuvenate my use of manual settings on the camera. The well thought out tour route took in key London sights and architecture. Recommended for those a little rusty with their photography and wanting to get back their David Bailey mojo.

Had a great time on this half day course and learnt a great deal from a very good teacher. Part classroom based and a bit part out on the street learning plus a solo assignment in the afternoon followed by a critique back in the classroom.

I had a really relaxed, fun and informative tour, seeing parts of London I'd never been to before as well as seeing some familiar sights from a new angle (literally). My guide was friendly, helpful and easy to talk to.

We had a great afternoon learning about the City of London and lots of tips on taking photographs of the iconic buildings. Even though it turned out to be one of the coldest days of the year we loved it and would recommend to anyone. Real mix of ages and abilities on tour. Leader was excellent in his approach and attitude.
