This was an EXCELLENT tour. Guy, our tour guide, was fantastic!! He made sure we didn't miss a thing. He was informative, very easy to talk to and answered a lot of questions. Westminster Abbey was beautiful and the London Towers was the BEST! Everything in between was exciting to learn about. It was a great way to introduce us to the city on our first trip there. I enjoyed the walking instead of being on a bus. I felt we were able to soak up the city better. Definitely recommend, but be ready to walk!!

It was a drizzly day when we went on our tour, but the bus was so nice, we were warm and comfortable and saw so many attractions in one day. We never could have accomplished so much on our own. They dropped us off midday for lunch in Trafalgar Square, and the spot they recommended was fantastic. Our tour guide Norma was the best. We highly recommend!

Such a brilliant review! Thank you so much for sharing. All of our tours here at Take Walks are walking tours, though we are delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful time touring London on a bus. If you feel an inkling to see things a little closer from the ground, come check us out! We'd love to Take Walks with you.

We had less than two days in London at the end of our European vacation. We wanted to see as much as we could in the brief time we had. This tour accomplished that and was even more than we had expected. We met with tour guide “Vivian”who was much more than just a tour guide. She is a London historian who truly loves her work. We asked many questions during our time with Vivian and she knew all of the answers. She provided background history and current event information as well. I highly recommend this tour.

Because you do not clearly state upfront that it is a walking tour the entire time. For the price I expected to be on a bus and getting off at stops, had I know it was walking from 9am to 4pm I would not have booked. It. The price also would denote transportation. You need to clearly state this is a walking tour at the beginning this is a walking tour and you should start at the tour of London.
Our tour guide Guy was grey and is knowledge amazing.

Sarah was knowledgable and was effective at keeping the group together. Saw all the major sites and the most enjoyable part for us was the afternoon boat tour along the Thames. It was wonderful to see Big Ben again since it's been behind scaffolding for several years. The walking pace was good!
If you use a FitBit or similar tracker, be prepared to walk approx 18,000 steps :)
Recommendation: consider a quick lunch (grab and go) rather than a sit down meal. We went to a pub that was recommended but did not find we had enough time to really enjoy the meal.

We loved this tour. It was my son’s first time to London and I was such a great way to hit several of the big things on our checklist in one day. We loved our tour guide and learned so much more than we would have if we had done the same things on our own. Everything was very organized and ran like clockwork.

Nick was an excellent tour guide who had a wealth of knowledge. He was able to answer any question thrown his way. We had so much fun learning and exploring the city with him and our small group. What a great way to introduce my husband and myself to London. Highly recommend this tour! We have already recommended it to our family and friends - telling them to request Nick as a guide!

Richard was very friendly and provided an amazing tour of the city! The tour was a little pricey but overall worth it. The Walks company was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend.

This tour really packed in a lot of London's highlights into 1 day. Easily clocked up about 14,000 steps so it's not for the lighthearted but we loved every minute. Our guide, Gina, was super knowledgeable - didn't miss a beat. We discovered lots of fascinating stories about London - both past and present. For any first (or second) timer to London, I'd highly recommend this tour.

Dear TravelWithBender,
Thank you for the review!
It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your time with Gina while getting in all your steps! You're absolutely right, this tour can be quite extensive and keeps you on your feet almost the whole time. We appreciate you letting us know your step count because we actually get that question a lot!
We hope you chose to take Walks with us again soon!
All the best,
The Walks Team
