1.5 hour tour through London focusing on the Grime & Punishment of its past
1.5 hour tour through London focusing on the Grime & Punishment of its past
Come on a journey into London's raucous and perilous past, when fun came at a deadly cost, and the dead had the most fun.

On this sleazy and spirited 1.5 hour walking tour, you'll hear of London's strangest disaster, the club which dined with coffins on their tables, and the stories of executions and master criminals.

Stepping through the heart of the West End, passing theatres, street performers and gorgeous architecture this tour will leave you happy to be alive in twenty first century London, but secretly wishing you were here a few hundred years before!
What to Expect
The tour starts from outside the Dominion Theatre near Tottenham Court Road underground station at 1.30pm Your guide will be wearing a blue shirt or coat and carrying a Fun London Tours flag.

You will then walk through the alleyways and side roads which weave their way through the West End of London, past old churches and into the heart of Covent Garden. You will visit the famous Seven Dials, historical theatres like the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the imposing Freemason's Hall, and finish the tour at the grandiose Somerset House, so beautiful it has been used as a frequent film location.

The focus will be on the gruesome and astonishing past but please note this is not a ghost tour.

Brilliant tour which is also historically accurate. I had to check the odd thing as it sounded unreal but was actually true like the beer flood also full of humour throughout. A great way to find out a bit more about some of the areas...More

A friend visiting from Canada and I (also Canadian but long-time London resident) did the tour on 11th Feb. It was a very cold day but the tour, lead by Jess, was excellent and we both really enjoyed it and learned many interesting facts about...More

Despite the snow on Sunday, our tour still went ahead and Jess did not let it dampen his spirits, he was a brilliant guide and we really enjoyed the tour! We were the only ones on the tour and were given the option to cancel...More
