About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Neechee0 contributionsTried to contact them but they don't answerI tried to contact them to see if they were still in activity, expecially because I have a coupon to use... but I never got an answer. I see a comment of June now, so I guess they still exist but communication is inexistant. Too bad, I would have liked to do the tour but now I'm back from my trip to London.Written July 11, 2022
- H5473HFninar0 contributionsInteresting, but quite expensiveThe tour was interesting and a nice way to get to know Camden Town. But the food we got was no justification for the high price: We only got four vegan fast food snacks. We were not left hungry, but it would have been nice to explore some more locations and have a bigger variety of food. Further, the tour took less than the promised two hours.Written June 21, 2022
- HannaMolin0 contributionsToo short tour and not what we where promisedWe actually first wrote this in a mail to the company, but they have not given us a reply. The guide was nice and friendly but it seemed that she was in a big hurry. The tour was supposed to be 2,5-3 hours but turned out to be only 1 hour and 20 minutes. There was only four stops - and for the price that’s not enough. There where no drinks included (or offered at all) and according to the web site we would get ”fully loaded nachos” and ”vegan chicken”. We didn’t get any of that. The guide almost didn’t give us any information at all about the places we went to or the neighborhood. If the company had given us an reply, explenation, a refound/discount it would be great but since they not even answer it kind of feels like a scam. Would not recommend the tour - since you can go to this four places and eat for like a fourth of the price.Written February 21, 2020
- Captainsydenham0 contributionsAbsolutely brilliant. Would definitely recommend. Our guide was amazing. We got to sample various bits of food that I'd definitely go back to. A brilliant way to find the best places in the local area to eat.Written October 20, 2019
- Rachel C0 contributionsIncredible foodEverything we tried was incredible and we couldn't stop talking about it. Would recommend for sure! Plus we got to see the Camden area, which was a lot of fun as well.Written September 16, 2019
- X9319EUrobins0 contributionsSoooo goodGreat food. Let stuffed and happy. Wife/husband/teen soon/teen daughter all happy with everything. 100% worth your time.Written July 27, 2019
- Kay B0 contributionsFun, tasty tourThe guide was fun and full of interesting facts about London and the vegan scene. Being able to spend time with a local, and obtain the low-down about the best restaurants, is a big advantage of the tour. Another advantage is that other vegans will be on the tour - it was enjoyable to compare our different countries and eating habits. We could have visited vegan restaurants on our own, but a tour group makes everything delightful. The restaurants were all good; the food was diverse and tasty. The only downside is that food is included in the price of the tour, so the guide ordered the food for us. I would have preferred a tour similar to the vegan food tour we took in Paris: the tour price is lower, but each person orders what they want and pays for their food individually.Written June 22, 2019
- HazelDR0 contributionsDelicious Vegan adventure around Camden MarketI booked this tour for my birthday and had a lovely time with our guide Lien and two others. I love doing food tours as they are so much more immersive and personable and are normally just small groups which gives it an informal atmosphere. We visited four different places with good sized helpings of delicious vegan specialities. Camden Market has so many good places to eat and most places will likely have vegan options but all the stops on this tour were all-vegan eateries and each had their own signature dishes, our guide Lien also got treated me to an extra vegan milkshake for my birthday so thank you very much for that. Whether you are vegan or not I would definitely recommend this tour as a lovely way to spend an afternoon, you get to learn a lot about the area of Camden too!Written June 19, 2019
- T_Daly0 contributionsVery poorly organised and not worth the moneyand not enough food. Ive done several food tours in London and this was the worst. 3 hours to have 4 small bits and at that price is not a good return on investment. On other tours they call ahead with your order so you're not waiting around for ages. I was still very hungry and headed back to find a vurger. Our guide was awkward and not engaging. Would not recommend, just look up Shoreditch vegan places and do it yourselfWritten March 14, 2019
- Sofia_Robert0 contributionsGreat tourWe had the pleasure of meeting up with Miranda for a tour of vegan Shoreditch. Besides lots of great food we also got to learn about the neighbourhood. Left the tour very full and very happy!Written December 16, 2018
- Laura L0 contributionsAmazing TourOur guide Miranda was very lovely and she knew a lot about the different vegan spots in London. The different food spots we went to were absolutely amazing and I had a great time. As a solo traveller I can definitely recommend this tour. Will do another food tour with them, when I'm coming back to London!Written September 28, 2018
- Gail C0 contributionsShoreditch by nightAte great food and had a great time with Yokey. This isn’t just for young people, although we were easily 30-40 years older than everyone we saw. Perhaps being vegan makes us young at heart? Favorites were burgers at Vurgers, and bubble waffles. This took us to a part of London we would never have visited otherwise. Well worth it.Written September 18, 2018
- mariana g0 contributionsGreat tour with MirandaWe had a really amazing tour with Miranda. A lot explanation about shoredetich are a and the street art culture in it. Very tastey and special vegan food. We had a really good time with MirandaWritten September 11, 2018
- Hans W0 contributionsVegan London RocknRollOur guide Miranda showed us the hip spots of London’s vegan scene and we loved the mix of sitting down and walking the neighbourhood of Shoreditch and Brick Lane. First stop was the Essential Vegan Café for a Brazilian influenced experience of Coxinha, cassava chips and cheese balls, then on to what our non vegan son thought to probably be the best vegan doner ever! At What the Pitta. The highlight was meeting Mauro from Vegan Yes for a Kimchi taster plate, Moringa powershot and a Dark Mochi. He is truly unique and such a passionate cook! We finished with a sandwich wich ice cream cookie at Vurger Co. A great evening spent with great people!Written September 5, 2018
- Gorgonzola_DK0 contributionsInteresting tourWe can 4 people who are by no means vegan. We very much enjoyed the food and found it all tasty - especially the wraps with soya and salad. We did expect a bit more info on Camden Lock itself but it turned out to be all about the food. Don’t eat anything before going on this tour. You will have pleanty on the tour itself.Written August 21, 2018

My wife and I love food tours. It’s a great (and cheap) way to eat at places you wouldnt have otherwise and meet people from all around the world. We saw this vegan tour through a quick search on TripAdvisor and since my wofe is vegetarian, we enjoy off the beaten path vegetarian culinary experiences. I give mad props to chefs that can concoct fine Michelin quality vegetarian dishes, it truly is a skill. In any case, i tried to book my tickets online, but their website showed all tickets were sold, so i contacted Sergei and he arranged for two tickets easily. Being that the tour showed sold out online, we thought it was going to be a decent size group only to find out we were the only ones on the tour. We met w Ly-An (LA) at our scheduled stop in Old City and started doing the Shoreditch tour. LA is a uni student, very nice, very sweet, but she started at the company only a few months ago and so she didnt seem to know much more than hat a typical local would know. She showed us around street art and all, which was really cool. We hit a total of four places, tried everything from brazilian food to street food. Everything was good, especially the tacos at Genesis ans the cake at the brazilian restaurant. The only thing was that both my wife and I got food poisoning :-(. Dont know where, but yea, given that we were flying back to the US the next day, let us just say it wasnt the best flight we’ve ever had. I dont think it is this company’s fault thoug. The tour was as good as it could get, it was a bit quiet at times bc a lot of the fun and energy comes from interacting w others in a typical tour, but it was ok. Would skip the pita wrap stop, thought it was not unique and something that we couldve found anywhere on the streets, other than that the other spots were nice.

My expectation was that an interesting selection of vegan meals will be selected, preordered and served in the way that the group can share so that everyone can taste more meals and this way have a value added than going to vegan places by yourself.
Except for the first restaurant, no table reservations were made, no food preordered. We had to wait for a sitting at the second and third location. At the last one we were just lucky that it wasn‘t busy.
The tour guide would then pick less then one starter per person. Some of the starters were suitable to share, some were not. The selection of the food was poor and not only for a vegan person nothing new.
The restaurants were quite far from each other and I have the feeling that this was rather a mix of a food and shoreditch walking tour.
The guide was lovely but new, unexperienced and not well introduced to this tour, trying to make the best out if it. We appreciated the effort.
The concept of the tour is not well prepared and organised. There is no value added. I recommend rather to go to a couple of vegan places in Shoreditch and have one starter at each.
The tour was not worth time and money!

Went on a seven day London and Paris vacation March 2023. Used TripAdvisor to look for interesting activities and selected 5 for London and 4 for Paris. Made all the arrangements via Viator with no problems.
Of the 9 tours, all but 1 gave clear instructions on where to meet to begin the tour giving time to meet, travel time considerations, and most importantly landmarks where the rally points were (e.g. meet outside the Starbucks or we will be standing under the only statue with a rider on a horse). All very clear and spot on.
Everyone that is except this tour. The directions did not give any landmarks and the address was not a physical address of a building just a general location (a traffic circle). There were even very easy landmarks to rally by (there was a Starbucks there and an Aldi plus numerous pubs). We walked around the circle for 30 minutes past the start time and never did find the tour.
Tried calling the tour group number but nobody answered. Tried texting with the same result. Called Viator and they also could not reach the tour and they even had an alternate number at their disposal.
Wasted an evening waiting around for a non-existent tour that could have been easily solved by picking an obvious rally point or answering the bloody phone.
Have no idea if the food tour was actually good or not but given the logistical idiocy of this group, I would doubt it.

The company called "Vegan Food Tours" specializes in vegan food tours. They offer them in Amsterdam, London and Barcelona. I tried their London tour. The weekend tours tend to be popular, but when I registered for a tour on Monday it turned out I was the only guest. Yet, the tour took place and Li-en was an excellent guide.
I chose the tour in "Shordich", which is a lively area of London with a fascinating history. According to the guide Shordich was once a place full of factories with a lot of underpaid (foreign) workers. Recently it was taken over by big IT companies and together with a lot of renewal of buildings it's now a fascinating mix of brand new architecture, street art and old factories. Some places look so dirty that you wouldn'g even want to go there during the day, just around the corner one may find an upscale place to live at!
The tour comprises of a short walk, and visits to four restaurants. The guide varies the route and restaurants a little depending on the day and seating availability. We had pita wrap as a starter, followed by a taco, a burger and finally a donut. In other words: all fast food. While it's all vegan, do not expect any true health food on the tour.
Guide Li-en had decent knowledge of the area, of the grafiti artists and of the restaurants she took me to. She could also tell me a lot about London in general, where to go, where to shop, what to do and what not to do. Having a vegan guide to get me on the right track for the remainder of the stay was just as valuable as the tour itself.
If I'd have any critisism then it's the fact that the walk was too short. I would appreciate to see more of London and have more time between restaurants to digest the food. Also, the website might mention that it's all vegan junkfood. Personally, I would appreciate a vegan high-class healthy restaurant tour.
Would I recemmend the London Vegan Food Tour? Yes, without a doubt. You see an interesting neighbourhood, try an interesting mix of restaurants and meet like minded individuals.

I fully paid for the tour on AirBNB site.
Waited from 17:30 till 18:30 in front of the EAT restaurant but no one show up.
To my sorrow that killed my only free evening in London.

The guide Li-en was very friendly, she is very talkative and will go through any conversations that might come up, that's a very nice thing that sometimes go underappreciated in this kind of tour. We saw lots of different street art by different artists, and got to know a bit of Bricklane. The tour is very flexible, as so that when I mentioned being Brazilian a connection could be made by going to "Essential Vegan" that serves some Brazilian finger foods.
We've been to the Boxpark and had some very tasty kebabs, then on to Essential Vegan and The Vurger and finally, a doughnut shop Sourdough Doughnuts. I saw a review saying it wasn't enough food but I think it's quite the opposite. I ate a lot and I'm a big guy. Anyways, I think the price is far for the experience!

We had an excellent time touring Shoreditch with our knowledgeable guide Li-En. She expertly guided us through the colorful streets pointing out various street art on our way to four outstanding eateries.
We were absolutely stuffed at the end of our tour. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an adventurous food journey through an exciting part of London.

The only food walking tour I've ever been on that begins with visiting some of the best street art in the world. We then went on to eat some delicious vegan food around the Shoreditch neighborhood. I don't want to spoil the surprise of all the great types of food, but I promise you won't leave hungry. Our guide was a local university student, and she was very nice and fun to talk to. Such a great tour! I highly recommend.

This tour was so fantastic mainly because of the excellent guide. There were meant to be a couple of other people on the same tour but they ended up having to cancel. This meant I got my own personal tour! We got along so well that it felt more like I was walking around with a knowledgeable friend than getting a tour from a stranger. I was actually sad to have it end and have such a fleeting friendship =(
The content itself was good in the sense that I got to try a few places that I had never been to and might never have heard of otherwise. I would have loved to have tried more places but on the other hand I was full by the end so not sure how that would work. Maybe more places with smaller portions. I was full by the end so can't complain and my wonderful tour guide pointed out a lot of other places worth trying as we were walking around, which I'll be sure to be back to try.
Overall a wonderful experience and hopefully I'll be back in the area to explore more soon.

The tour was everything we hoped it would be, it introduced us to new restaurants that we have not heard of before and we tried foods that we might not have considered trying otherwise. Our guide Li-en was very friendly and easy to chat with, she recommended lots of other places to try in the city. There were only four stops but we were crazy full by the end so we couldn't have eaten anymore.
