Great pre-cruise tour. It freed up a port day so if you are able to do this on the way to the ship, I'd recommend it. We spent two days in London and International Friends picked us up at the hotel on time and helped with the luggage. After picking up a few other passengers, we headed to Stonehenge and then to the ship. The guide was good, I didn't write down his name, and told us the areas of London as we passed, different types of henges (wood, stone and others) and that there are over 900 in the United Kingdom. Stonehenge just gets the attention because it's widely known and a tourist attraction. We were dropped at the cruise terminal, as advertised, and well within time to board the ship.

A friend and I booked a private "Downton Abbey" tour - and it was fantastic. The International Friends office was in touch (via e-mail) to propose and then confirm our itinerary well in advance of our travel dates. Our driver and the guide (Andrew ) picked us up at our hotel in London (promptly at 8:30 am), and we visited Highclere Castle and several other Downton-Abbey related sights (Coggins Farms, some villages in the Cotswolds) Andrew, our guide, was simply fantastic. He is so knowledgeable about British history, and was patiently able to answer all of our many questions about British history, gentry, etc. I would definitely recommend International Friends, and I hope to book another private tour with Andrew the next time I am in London. I travel a lot, and have had many tour guides in many different countries, and Andrew ranks with the best. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour with a small group. Our guide Anna Maria was knowledgeable , friendly. She even recommended a few places to eat after the tour. Our driver Aziz, always smiling and courtous offered bottles of water and drove like a proffesional. I highly recommeand the tour, wish we had more time in Bath. Will definetly book again with International Friends.

We traveled from London to a cruise in Southhampton; it was a wonderful experience. We were picked up timely and made it to Stonehenge at 11. Our tour guide was wonderful, every step of the way she was informing us of the plan, answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed. We had plenty of time to visit Stonehenge, eat lunch and make it back to the bus by 1. Our bus made it to Southampton at 2, luggage was taken right off the bus and the next time I saw them, they were in our room. We we were in the ship sipping drinks by 2:20. Perfect beginning to our British Isles cruise.

The tour was amazing! Valentina and Chuy were really helpful and aware of every person on the tour. Valentina even took time to get to know us and make sure we knew how to get to out destination after the tour. On Oxford we had another tour guide, Debbie. She was so funny and knew a lot about Oxford and Harry Potter fun facts. It made the time there so productive. The Harry Potter Studio… from another world! It has a lot of things to see. We spend four hours there and it wasn’t enough! Truly and amazing experience.

Very nice tour on time and guide was excellent we went to Stonehenge which was worth the visit the pick up was on time and very mindful of getting to the ship early. Overall a great experience.

What a fantastic tour! Sean was a wonderful tour guide taking us to Salsbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and Windor Castle. We would have loved to see the Magna Carta as well, but the exhibition was under reconstruction. Sean escorted us to our hotel at the end of the tour. Thank you! :-)

I read about this tour in Rick Steve's London guidebook and it was fantastic. The small group worked out perfectly. We did not feel rushed at any of the locations. The tour guide, Mike Wilson, was very knowledgeable and funny. He kept us engaged throughout the day. Vugar the bus driver was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Having the trip to Oxford as an addition this experiance was a great idea. The bus was comfortable and the driver well experianced. The tour guide was pleasant and professional. Oxford university was impressive. Really puts you in the mood. The indoor area where Harry Potter was filmed does require a small fee. Since it is in a library and not really appropriate for daily tours to be going through, this add-on helps to thin the herd. After our tour of Oxford, we proceeded to the studio and had approx. four hours which was a perfect amount of time and included the gift shop. Great experience and worth the price.

We had a wonderful day. Went when they had a speaker who did a presentation on Egyptian clothing. It was fascinating. Had 3 boxed teas for lunch which was delightful and more than enough for 5 ppl. People may go to here because of Downtown Abbey. But, you will learn so much more about the people who lived there and the history and how they were part of the story in finding King Tutankhamen. Must go and see.

Great option if you have a tight schedule. I ve managed to squeeze 3 must see sites in 11 hours. It doesn t get more efficient than that. Enough time was allocated to each site for exploration, souvenir shopping and taking pictures. I chose the small group option for a calmer, more intimate experience. The vehicule was spotless and very comfortable. The driver was calm, always on time. Tony, the guide, did a fantastic job !! He kept us engaged and made us laugh a lot :))) I highly recommend him for your trip, as he makes a big difference! Hats off International Friends for your amazing organization. I strongly recommend you to travelers. You fail to disappoint. Bravo !

I loved this experience. If you are a Harry Potter’s fan, you must do it. In general the tour was very nice. Rita, my guide, was very clear in the information, she really has a good English accent. 10/10

Easy from booking to pickup to drop-off! Great communication. We were picked up from our hotel without incident. Bus was clean and both guide & driver were professional and friendly. Drive to Stonehenge was scenic and smooth. We had about 2 hours at the stones which was more than enough to see everything and have a bite at the cafe. Drive to the port was smooth with several interesting sites pointed out along the way with history commentary as well. Overall, we had no complaints and learned a bit along the way.

Thank you to Mike (tour guide) and James (driver) for a beautiful day! The weather was sunny and breezy. This trip is perfect for the solo Downton Abbey fan. James drove the group through the Cotswolds and we got to see really beautiful areas of England on our way to the locations. During the day, the time at the Farm and at each village is perfect, allowing enough time to walk around. The Farm has an absolutely lovely tea room, but there aren't many refreshments to offer in the villages. That left ample hours to explore Highclere Castle and the grounds for the remainder of the day. There is delicious hot food with vegan/gluten free options (including scones) in the Highclere cafe. The gift shop has a lot of lovely things too, with specific Highclere or Downton or really beautiful home/accessories like scarves, hats, jewellery. Mike was knowledgeable and engaging and made sure everyone was looked after. There were about 15 people in a small bus with USB chargers, heating and aircon if needed! A few guests were late and waited for pickup at the wrong spot and Mike was super accommodating to them and explained to us what happened. So, Book Direct from their website to avoid any confusion!

Professional. Efficient. Well organized. Excellent. Valentina kept us engaged and entertained on the way to S.Hampton, guided us during the visit to Stonehedge.
