- katesO870NF0 contributionsVery special tourWe had a wonderful time with our tour guide. Alexandra knew so much history of London and the stories of the tower. We got some lovely family photos too that she took.Written January 8, 2025
- dougbH2017PJ0 contributionsTower of LondonWonderful experience for our family! Mehru helped explain 1,000 years of history in 3 hours. She was fun, knowledgeable and engaging with our son.Written December 30, 2024
- jessicabF1822PF0 contributionsGreat for the family!Alexandra did an amazing job with our kids and relayed the history in an interesting way for us all. Our kids (and us) said it was one of their favorite things on our trip. We would highly recommend!Written October 21, 2024

- W439NJsusanc0 contributionsFab Family Tour in London. For our Harry Potter tour in London, Larry was not only knowledgeable, he was well prepared with visuals for our 10 yr old kiddo. Naturally scenes of the movies and connection to the local notables as a native Londoner helped us enjoy our tour. Wish we had more time to tour with Larry on on topics - Natural History museum, British Museum, etc. Next time.Written August 18, 2024
- jahnb20240 contributionsFamily TourBooking a private family tour of the Tower of London was one of the best experiences of our trip. Our family’s age range was 8-74 and the tour was tailored to our families interests. Our tour guide was fabulous and held even our youngests attention. Thank YouWritten August 15, 2024
- Z4927QXsarahs0 contributionsBOOK THIS TOUR!!!I cannot say enough fabulous things about this tour and most importantly our guide Mr. Timothy. He was communicative before we even met and patient with us getting lost not to mention my 8 and 6 y/o throughout the day. His breath of knowledge on all things is humbling in the best way possible. He was approachable on every level and just an over all joy to have as your companion. Even if you’ve been to the city and seen these landmarks before, you will be amazed and learn something new. And if this is your first time, this a great starting point. Be prepared as it can be a long day for little ones with lots of walking but our guide was able to “read the room” and took lots of breaks for little feet. Regardless, you will see a lot. “It’s lovely to be in a lovely room” is a saying that will be living rent free in my head for a long time. Thank you for a great day. BOOK THIS TOUR!!!!!Written August 15, 2024
- 1051Celeste0 contributionsOur favourite museum. Truly free and very diverse. Antiques and modern. Not crowded and not hot. This museum is truly free. You walk in , and there is a bucket if you choose to donate. The temporary exhibit draws you thru the gallery. The current exhibit is Taylor Swift. Loved the variety of exhibits and the interactive exhibits. The interior architecture was grand. My favorite section was the jewelry, but the historic and antique furniture was great. There is a gift shop on the ground floor with beautiful items for sale. The retail items were more quality than the other museum stores we had been too. They had a section of Taylor Swift products , because of the current exhibits. We really enjoyed the diversity of the museum. Aloha The GetawaysWritten August 8, 2024

- 620CarolC0 contributionsWonderful Introduction to the British Museum for FamiliesIt's hard to imagine a tour of the British Museum, with wealth of objects and exhibitions, both engaging and comprehensive for children. Our guide was wonderful--a terrific teacher and great with kids, as well as immensely knowledgeable. This was a five-star experience.Written July 16, 2024
- 416ashliea0 contributionsGavin is the Best Tour Guide!!!!!Gavin was amazing! We were running late for unforeseen circumstances and he waited patiently for us. It was quite a surprise when we were the only ones on the tour. It was a perfect day for seeing the crown jewels and the tower. Gavin made it fun and very interesting. My youngest daughter kept saying the entire trip how Gavin was the best tour we had because he remembered her name and no one else. To top it off it was lunchtime and Gavin reserved my family a table at a local restaurant to have lunch before our next tour. I would recommend him to everyone!Written April 15, 2024
- F285LXmelissah0 contributionsGreat way to see London monuments with kidsWe had a terrific private tour with Lucy at Westminster Abbey. Not only were we able to enter through a side entrance avoiding the long lines, but she was able to guide us through the Abbey and highlight the notable features in a way that kept our two boys (10 and 12) attention and interest. Because the Abbey is so popular, it was great having the dedicated guide as there are so many groups and so much to see it could be overwhelming otherwise. We also walked over to Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and across to finish at Trafalgar Square, getting interesting information and highlights along the way. I highly recommend this tour and Lucy in particular for doing an outstanding job!Written April 7, 2024
- debbiesZ2371NM0 contributionsWell Worth ItWe had an amazing tour of the Tower of London with Ingrid through Pinocchio Tours! Ingrid was so engaging and knowledgeable. She made the history so fun for our 9 year old through fun facts and a quiz that ran throughout the tour. We would definitely book another tour with them again!!!Written April 1, 2024
- brianwO950PW0 contributionsA Wonderful Family Tour of the Tower of London! Our Private Family roriented visit with Lucy to the Tower of London was an incredible experience for all five of us. Lucy did a great job of providing the right amount of information to keep it informational and interesting for the adults while super fun and exciting for the kids. Lucy definitely brought the history to life as we walked through each building and area of the Tower! We HIGHLY recommend this tour and Lucy in particular for families looking for a great day at the Tower of London!Written February 15, 2024

We had two young (5,7 boys) kids on our tour and Sarah was fantastic! Super warm and friendly to their needs. She taught them and us so much about the artwork we were looking at! Highly recommend Sarah!
