Great tour! The tour guide Barney shared a lot of interesting information throughout the time on the bus and was entertaining. He was transparent about the itinerary, how long we would stay in each place and adjustments he was making to let us get the most out of the day.
I had selected this tour specifically because I wanted to see parts of the English countryside at a leisurely pace. This fit the bill!
If you are visiting in March (and April too) ensure to wear comfy shoes and a warm jacket, and to pack an umbrella.

This was a great day trip! Upon arriving Neil confirmed my slot and it was smooth sailing from there. He first asked us if we scheduled a tour in Oxford; since no one did we proceeded to visit the two villages first. Then he recommended that we buy tickets for Christ Church College which turned out to be the highlight of my Oxford trip! We had three hours to explore Oxford. Along the way he also shared some background information about the sights along the way and the histories of the villages and Oxford University. The only “negative” I have really for this tour is that the Green Line Coach Station is hard to find. However you really only need to give yourself enough time to find it, and I heard from another passenger that Uber drivers will drop you off directly at the station (I took the Tube to Victoria Station)—it’s the station directly south of Victoria and you only need to cross the road! I totally recommend this trip and I am looking forward to another Rabbie’s trip in the Scottish countryside in a few days!

This was a lovely Tour once we found the meeting place. There has to be a better way to tell people how to find the Green line Coach Station. We gave our uber driver the address. He dropped us off at Victoria Train station. We asked several locals where the Green Line station was. No one knew. Thank goodness we had given ourselves extra time to be early because by the time we found it they were ready to leave. The Green Line Coach station had NO SIGNAGE anywhere on the outside of the building that we could see. We just saw a parking garage with buses and then spotted the Rabies van by luck after frantically walking all over. Once we were on the van things got better. Dan was friendly and laid back. He knew alot of the history of the area and got us to Oxford. I was a little disappointed that we just got dropped off with a walking map and were on our own. I don't know why the tour guide can't at least take you around to the highlights of Oxford. Regardless, we found our way around, had lunch and my daughter knew the highlights of Oxford from watching Harry Potter so we saw what we wanted. The two villages in the Cotswolds were great. I would have liked more time in Burbury (?sp) we really didn't have a lot of time to do or see much, and I would have loved to have popped into some of the shops. The last stop was gorgeous and 45 mins was just enough time to see what there was to see. My only other negative was that Dan drove a bit too fast at times, and unlike the other 2 Rabies tours we were on, he never asked or offer a bathroom break. We drove 2 hous plus back to London without a stop. He should have at least offered to stop, some people would be too shy to ask.

Cotswolds villages are excellent, time allocated to visit them is reasonable, but time allocated for Oxford was way too short. We were given only 1.5 hours to literally run through very basic route in the city center. We barely had time to have very short lunch at old tavern that was recommended by the guide. We had no time to check colleges, no time for a boat trip. 1.5 hours is definitely not enough for Oxford, it should be at least 1 hour longer, even 1.5 hours.
Also, Russ (our guide and driver) was playing very loud music on the way back. We liked music played, but it li was unreasonably loud. We asked to reduce the volume, he did, but it became very loud again in 10-15 minutes.
On the way back we asked Russ to stop near Gloucester St. as bus was passing it. We knew we could ask as on the other trip that we had a couple of days earlier guide offered to stop there as it was a convenient stop for some passengers. But Russ looked at us as idiots who don't know parking rules in London. He didn't stop there and stopped later near V&A Museum.

A perfect way to see the countryside as well as the historic city of Oxford! Samuel was a superb guide - knowledgeable and witty! Be certain to pre-book an Oxford Bodleian library tour separately is you want to ensure entry.

Excellent day trip for tourists to see some country outside of London. Our guide, Russell, really knew his stuff and how to "read the crowd" of the ten of us on the bus, making the entire trip a real pleasure. Going out he pointed to sights of interest and provided history recitations I only WISHED I had heard in school - I now understand the Charles I/Cromwell situation much better. On the return trip when we were tired he played music that was actually an audio history of British pop music (I think I was the only one who preferred the ELP version of Jerusalem) before getting us to recite our favorite parts of the day, which we were all glad to do. Of course you can't do all of Oxford in 2 hours but the map provided gave excellent points both historical and Harry Potter. The stops at the Cotswold villages were just enough time to soak it in, and where else are you going to see sights like this? All in all a great experience ... but most importantly I will always remember that when preparing a scone for tea the cream goes ON the jam :)

It’s a great tour of the small villages in the city of Oxford. It’s hard to fit it all in one day but it works. Our driver John was amazing at keeping the flow and informing us along the way of all kinds of interesting things about London and the surrounding areas, he was amazing! The small group makes it really easy to come and go quickly and see all you can see in this one day trip.

This tour is very great. Perfect planning and enough time to sightsee, shop, and grab a bite to eat. Dan was my tour guide and he is awesome. Dan is very informative of the sites and history of the country. I really enjoyed his jokes, his welcoming personality, and his professionalism. I highly recommend taking this tour. *If you are a Harry Potter fan like me, please know to enter into the Old Bodleian Library, you must purchase a tour ticket. They only have 2 tour options: 30 minutes or 60 minutes.* Also, I’m not a drinker but I visited the Famous Turk Tavern and experienced the most delicious Mango Cider 😋 Must try.

The trip was amazing. I would recommend Rabbie’s to my friends.
The trip is well planed and what I was happy that it was not just driving from one place to another but to hear more stories than you can read online about the places.
Our driver guide Rob was really kind and fun. I was surprised how much he knew. I felt like listening to a story tale, he knew not just boring facts but also other interesting things. He is a great story teller. Beside he was also a great driver, concentrated on the road (and not checking mobile all the time like some drivers do), so I felt safe while he was behind a wheel.
Rob thank you for making my trip magical!!!
Keep up the good work.

We had a wonderful day trip to the Cotswold Villages and Oxford, Dan was our knowledgeable driver/guide. We found our departure location without difficulty. We left promptly on time as scheduled. Our van was comfortable and the smaller size group was exactly what helped us choose this tour company over many others. We didn’t feel rushed, had plenty of time to explore, with great tips and guidance of how to spend our time at each stop to meet our interests. I always look at these tours as a “sampling” to be able to know where I’d like to visit again with less time limits. I appreciated that the driver/guide did not ask for gratuity- it’s often off-putting when a guide asks or insinuates gratuity is expected. We gladly tipped, he seemed genuinely surprised and appreciative. Not sure if it’s expected or not, but seemed the right thing to do for the services provided.
Highly recommend this particular tour, and will keep the Rabbies tour company in mind for our future visits in the area.

Time obviously has to be limited on a day tour, but we're really pleased that you felt you had plenty of time to explore and enjoyed the day.
We have tours from Scotland, Ireland and mainland Europe as well so we hope you'll look us up again for future travels.
All the best,
Aimee

Surely you just have not had a chance to update your website to state that face coverings are not required? (I would never in a million years go on a tour requiring a mask.)

Easiest way to find out is by asking them what their current mask policy is, instead of criticizing their safety policies. We did the tour in December and kept masks on inside the tour bus as requested, with no complaints from one person.

The trip lasted the approximate time their sight says. I think we left at 9am and were back by 7/7:30. It was a full day trip. Then again, length sometimes depends on traffic.
Can I join the tour after 10:30?
I will arrive Oxford by train at 10:15 on 15/2. Not sure if we can skip the first part (the visit of oxford) and start from the second one.
