Great experience with this tour company!
We signed up for the tour starting in Bath then going to Oxford, then Burford, then Bibury before going back to Bath. It was a fantastic experience overall. The bus was small but comfortable, good air conditioning, had huge windows offering great visibility to all the surrounding sights no matter where you sit inside. And the small group size made it more efficient throughout the day. We got extra lucky to have Barney as our guide and driver. Upon the morning arrival and from every moment thereafter he was friendly, funny, full of interesting historical facts and anecdotes, and always ready with a great recommendation for further activities. He was fully aware of and prepared for local events which might be interesting for the tour, like graduation activities at Oxford, or festival traffic between cities so as to avoid time consuming traffic. He sought out and paid attention to detail from every person on the tour throughout the day in fun and friendly ways. We have done guided tours in a LOT of cities in many different countries, but Barney stands apart. He is an example to be followed!

Such a fun day with our tour guide
After a bit of difficulty in finding where to meet the tour group, we had a great day with Nick as our tour guide exploring a few unique places, including Oxford and a couple of Cotswolds villages. We thoroughly enjoyed the historical perspectives that Nick provided around English history, Oxford nuances, and the villages we visited. Our guide was a former history teacher and I loved hearing all of the stories about all of the topics he brought up, including things about pubs, Cambridge vs. Oxford, Arlington Row, etc. It was a full day of travel and exploration, but definitely a highlight of our trip to the London area.

Stonehenge and Bath + a secret stop with Val of the English Bus company.
I was on "The English Bus" Stonehenge and Bath day trip from London yesterday, the last day of April. Val was our driver guide and gave us a great time. We saw Stonehenge, we walked around Bath with its magnificent Abbaye, Georgian architecture and Roman baths. Val drove back to London through the Costswold villages of old thatched cottages and medieval barns. A memorable day!

      Tips for your trip :)
Oxford: yes, it is possible to see both Christ Church & Bodleian Libraries in 2 hours but you have to literally run between locations, no time to eat or drink and barely anytime to use the washroom one more time before you leave. BOOK THE TICKETS IN ADVANCE: The Christ Church releases tickets every Friday; pay attention to the time zone difference between your country and England so you don’t go to the website too late. You need to book the tickets for the time frame you would be in Oxford with the tour, which reduces the availability even more. The Libraries were sold out when I started searching but they release more tickets on the date, so when you wake up to catch the tour, book your tickets. Half an hour tour is plenty. COTSWOLDS: This tour merely shows one picture-perfect village, because Burford is not really the type of village you dream of when you think Cotswolds. It’s a good place to grab food (I chose Huffkins) and make sure to visit the church. Arlington Row is magical as it can get, so I would suggest anyone to book a Cotswolds-only tour and then a separate tour that goes to Cambridge & Oxford. Keep in mind you need minimum 2 hours in Oxford because of the bookings - even if you were to run as fast as you can. If you are like me, with little time, then this tour is perfect. I wrote this review for those who are doing their homework like I was, trying to figure out which one to choose from. I hope this helps. To the tour company: if this tour started at 8AM we would have more time to explore the villages.

      Picturesque and Personable
Picturesque, historic, knowledgeable and personable guide. We were given sufficient information to really appreciate the different villages and Oxford; then let loose with good suggestions about sights, shopping and places to eat.

This tour was awesome! Highly recommmend.
Rabies tours impressed us far beyond my expectations. Nick was absolutely awesome and was really great at giving us information. I was sick at the time and he helped provide places if we needed to drop the tour at a point. The tour itself was excellent and we saw so many pretty views and sights. We got to self guide explore which was really nice as well. At the end of the tour we simply requested if we could hop of the bus in London since our hotel was on the bus route. They were able to do this and it save a whole HOUR. I cannot thank them enough. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. The expertise of the tour guides and the tour itself bypassed every expectations. The next time you visit London take a look to see if they have a tour available for you. -Ayan Parikh This review was written from the views of a 10 year old and supervised by an adult.

We really enjoyed our tour to the English countryside! Great day leaving the city and seeing the gorgeous sights of the small towns. They are so pretty! And Oxford was so beautiful to visit, we had a good amount of time to explore! Our guide Damian did a great job as well!

We had the pleasure of having Barry be our driver for this tour. We loved that he shared fun facts, restrooms (which is important when driving for a hour+), and places to eat. Definitely recommend booking this tour and exploring outside of London

Great tour to Burford, Bibury, Oxford!!!
Actually we went on Jan 2023. So the evaluation was a bit late, but still this was so great that we want to write it now… The tour was as below. Started at 9:15, we went firstly to Burford, then to Bibury, Oxford, Ashmolean Museum. At Burford, we had time for lunch at a great bakery, and could see the old beautiful town! And among those sites, Bibury was very wonderful, with the landscape, the old architecture!!! Oxford was also great with its tradition! We found the Turf Tarven, built from 12th century! We also could see some colleges, universities at Oxford… Because we booked 2 nights at Costwold, so we didnt go back to London with the bus, we asked John (the tour guide) to drop us near the railway in Oxford, and from Oxford we got on the train and made it to Costwold late that evening… Overall, this tour was very good… John, the tour guide was also very nice… Recommend to other people to book this tour… We hope to be able to visit England, Costwold again the future…

Excellent guide. She did a great job and provided just enough information. Everything was timed out perfectly. The guide pamphlet for Oxford was very helpful. Great views in the Cotswolds.

During our 10 days in the British Isles, this tour was perhaps the best day of the bunch. We went on Halloween, and our driver/guide, Graham, was easy to find because he was in full costume. Graham is knowledgeable and, especially, fun and entertaining. He had prepared a playlist of Halloween-related music to help pass the travel time between locations. He also pointed out many sights that can be seen from the road as he drove. He was very clear in his descriptions of the destinations, suggestions of where to go at the destination, when to get back for the next leg of the tour.

I loved my Rabbie’s tour of Avebury, Lacock Village, and Bath. This was the perfect day to spend solo while my husband was working. Samuel was very welcoming and shared lots of great info and stories about the places we visited. He also did an ice breaker early on which got us all talking to each other - a great idea!

As we had participated in a Rabbie’s tour previously, we had high expectations; our tour guide Dan and the trip itself definitely met them. This tour proved to be “just right” — the stones at Avebury were magical; the bakery in Lacock offered delicious pastries, and Bath was beautiful. Dan provided fascinating commentary about the locations, and his reliability put us at ease. We will hopefully participate in more tours like this in the future.

Our tour to Avebury, Lacock and Bath was a highlight of our trip to London. The country side was beautiful and peaceful. Being in Avebury and Lacock was our favorite, it was like stepping back in time. Wish we could have spent some extra time in these locations. John our driver/guide was fabulous. Negotiating what I thought should have been narrow one way streets but were actually for two way traffic with ease and he even had some great jokes!

This was a very enjoyable and full day. It is a semi guided tour. The driver gave us some history and information at each stop, but we were free to wander on our own. We stopped for about a hour in Avebury. We walked around the fields and stones. We stopped in Lacock for about an hour. The village is so quaint, it is easy to see why it is used in so many films. The stop in Bath was about two hours. The driver gave us a map of a self guided walking tour. I had purchased tickets to the Roman baths(these are not included in the tour price). We had time to do both the walking tour and the baths.

This is a great introduction if you have not been to Avebury, Lacock and Bath. Note that you have time only to focus on one thing in each place. Do your research before going. Nick our guide and driver is great. He is very knowledgeable and funny at times. Overall a great trip.

It was amazing from start to finish!

First of all, I'd like to highlight that this trip couldn't have been this successful without our amazing guide, Mr. Peter (Pete) Lemagnen. We were greeted with a warm welcoming smile; and he kept us dazzled with awesome stories and anecdotes. The weather wasn't all that great, but he did make a great decision by changing which place to visit first.

All in all, it was an amazing journey. The group was just lovely, it felt like I was on a trip with my family.

Great work! I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Thank you for all your efforts.

This was a very enjoyable one day trip to Avebury (45 min), Lacock (45 min) and Bath (about 2 hours visit). Terrific guides (Hugh was a great guide and Graham was driving). High praise to those guys! They made the journey interesting and enjoyable. Lots of driving in this day, but Bath is worth the journey from London. Able to stop and take a break to use the bathroom and stretch whenever. Nice small group trip. Had a great trip! Bonus, some cool Harry Potter movie bits in Lacock village :)

The places we visited were simply amazing. Our guide, Russell, told us all about the places we would see and also told us anecdotes and curiosities about the things and places we could see though our windows. He made us all fell welcomed at the tour and was kind and fun and I believe he made the tour even better. I only wish we had much more time in the places to explore. Overall, it was totally worth it. I will surely look for other tours when I visit again.
