    Breathtaking views from London eye
Beautiful experience. It’s not scary at all even for those who feel little scared of heights. The speed is super slow. Try to stand near the glass of capsule and instead of just sitting. Make your memories by clicking lots of pictures as you see most of london from here

    London Eye is a Must
Great views of a fantastic city. Do look for discounted tickets. Be aware of rush times to enjoy a short wait with a basic ticket. There is much to see kn the surroindkng area as well, so there is more than just the Eye. The ride provides amlle time to get great shots of tje area.

    overrated experience
very disappointed by this attraction, which is supposed to be a must-see. First, there is a big queue, even if you have advance tickets. Queuing in the cold is really not pleasant. Then the price of the tickets is frankly exaggerated. Finally, although the view over London is very beautiful, it's better to go to a free rooftop...

It's good ,but it's very expensive. If you afraid of haight don't come ,but if you're not it's very good. When you prepare for the flight get some snack and water, because the flight is 1 to 2 hours.

a bit overhyped but really really fun and beautiful
It was great but I think it is a bit over hyped because you need to wait long for just the view but I do think it's really fun so I do recommend this!

    London Eye review
If you want to have a nice, calming and beautiful trip, the London Eye is the perfect place to go to. It’s a lovely place with many other places to visit. When you get in the little cab on the ferris wheel you start slowly going up and going into circles. You can basically see the whole city from the top of it! It looks exactly like it sounds. It looks like a big eye and it’s in London. I really liked it but the ride was very long so make sure you get water and a snack. The prices are also not my favourite thing but it’s worth it. Also make sure you wear comfy clothes as the ride is long and you’ll be sitting for a long time.

Fantastic views and all round experience! But long queues.
Finally made it on the London eye! After wanting to go on for many years- before I had children I finally managed to get us all on yay!!! It was an amazing experience, and proud of my children who don’t like big rides to come on and not wait with their dad! So for anyone with younger children, they will love it I promise. The views were stunning, it was bitterly cold and visibility wasn’t the best and the long queues meant we got on just as it was getting darker but not quite dark enough to see t he beautiful lights. Oh well maybe next time. Do be prepared for a long wait though, would definitely book in advance. Wish everyone in the queue could of exercised the same patience and manners as us even with two young, cold children! For four of us it wasnt crazy expensive for what we will all remember for a long time. But the pictures as the end was pricey, glad we bought them for the memories but it did all start adding up- also I think they could organise this a bit better. All in all though it was a very good day and glad me and the kiddies got to experience the stunning views of a wonderful city!

Racism and xenophobia: the foundation of the London eye
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint about the treatment I received at your shop at Riverside Building, County Hall; on Monday the 5th of January 2025, at 3:04 PM. When I went to print some photos your staff took of me and my family in the London Eye. After making the corresponding payment and waiting for more than 50 minutes, I was informed that they were unable to print the third photo I had requested. When I went to the person in charge, an individual named Daniel, who introduced himself as the "manager", my experience was even more frustrating. Instead of providing a solution, Daniel displayed an extremely condescending and dismissive attitude. His behaviour was inappropriate, and what outraged me the most was that he began making racist and derisive comments towards me and my family. He also started making fun of me and family with the rest of the staff. I demanded a refund for the service not provided, yet Daniel did not provide me with a receipt or confirmation of the transaction. I did not even receive a notification from the bank, indicating that the refund was not processed correctly. Furthermore, and what I consider to be even more serious, he took the original photo ticket from me, which is a completely unjustifiable act and a violation of my rights as a consumer. This type of treatment is unacceptable and has left a very bad impression of your shop. I request a formal response as to what steps you will take to remedy this problem, as well as an apology for the discriminatory treatment and lack of respect for my rights as a consumer. It is inadmissible that you condone this kind of behavior and treatment to the costumers, I find myself surprised by the fact that the foundation of your company is racism and xenophobia. It is even more staggering the company’s indifference to this situation, I wrote to their costumer services and they have not care to answer.

Best river cruise - thank you George
This was the best river cruise my partner and I have ever done. We did a total of 4 river cruises whilst in Europe, and this was by far the most interesting. A massive shoutout to George who was the tour guide on the 29/12/24 10:45 cruise. He was super engaging, funny, and kind.

    It could have been better
If you wind up reserving on a cold and rainy day, try to reschedule it. The windows in the pod were very foggy. They do not do anything to coat the windows to prevent them from fogging up on a cold and rainy day, so pictures were very few and far between. The staff were friendly, the wait to get on without a fast pass was quick, and the area was kept clean.

We weren’t really sure what to expect , but booked a fizz package on the eye as part of our celebration . To be honest is was better that expected . The pre lounge and glass of fizz was great and the eye experience was excellent . Made so much more so due to our host ( we can’t remember his name something like Sam mho or something like that ( sorry , he’d been in holby city ) he was great , got everybody involved , informative, funny and really made a good experience into a great one . Well done . The cost was £90 for 2 people inc 4 glasses of champagne fast track etc . Well worth it we loved it thanks

We, three went in February during the off-season. We had the fast pass, but the lines were short. Security scans you. The Hop on Hop off Bus stops here. Before you go, know that you'll have to climb a ramp, there will be lines and waiting during peak season, and the Eye does not stop. You enter/exit the capsule while it is moving, even though it's moving slowly. Handicapped people need to seriously consider this in context with their condition. It does not stop at the top like a Ferris wheel. The Eye moves slowly enough to afford riders enough to to photograph views. Many landmarks, like Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, and the Thames, are obvious, even if you've never been to London before. The higher you get, the more glorious the view. Pictures are taken of you on the route, and you may buy packages on your way out, and we did. Awesome.

We rode the London Eye at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon on a recent trip to London, and could not have been more pleased with the experience.

One tip: if you can afford it, spend the extra 10 pounds to get a Fast Track ticket. The crowd was absolutely insane the day we went and the Fast Track ticket allowed us to completely bypass a line that had probably more than a 1,000 people in it waiting to get on.

Each capsule of the "Eye" holds 25-30 people, and you either sit or stand throughout the ride.

If you have any fear of heights, like I do, not to worry. The ride is extremely stable, and there is no rocking or swaying of the cars. Also, it moves VERY slowly--it takes nearly 30 minutes to do a full rotation. So you can barely perceive that you are getting higher except that things below gradually start looking smaller and smaller.

The views are out of this world and really give you a fantastic perspective of the River Thames and the whole layout of London around the river. The views of Parliament and Big Ben directly across the river from the Eye are particularly impressive.

This was one of the best things we did in London and I'm so glad we didn't skip it as too "touristy."

So we’re premium map holders meaning that we got free entry with fast pass ( of which is really worth while as the queues looked to be an hour long).

The attraction itself lasts about 30-40 minutes depending on how many times it stops.

It goes quite high as you can imagine- however I have a serious issue with heights and I did it 3 times over 2 days, so I guess it’s not that bad.

The pods during the day can be quite crowded with about 14 people on average making it hard to get your perfect photo. However at night time it’s a lot quieter with half the size, and sometimes single groups having a pod to themselves.

It’s so much better at night firstly as it’s less busy but also due to the night time skyline. So either way I’d recommend it, but due to the queues and day time business it’s a 2, however the nighttime experience is a 5. So I feel 4 is a good midpoint.

We booked on the official website on the same day that we wanted to go as the weather was sunny and clear and opted for Fast Track tickets with flexibility of going at any time. This worked brilliantly as we did not want to be committed to a set time and when we arrived there was a queue. We were able to get on the ride in about 5 minutes and it meant we were not standing in a crowd for a while. The staff were friendly and efficient with excellent security with bags being scanned etc We also felt Covid safe and the pods were spacious with the ability to socially distance and numbers in the pod limited. The views were absolutely fantastic and show cased our brilliant capital city. You could see many iconic buildings and great photo opportunities. To make it more memorable it would have been great to have some information on what you could see,

Short trip to London with the aim of going on the London Eye, Bought the ticket online and paying extra for a fast track ticket. It was worth the extra as we queued for 5mins before getting on we heard that there were waits of up to 3 hours for people buying tickets on the day.
We had good views of the Houses of Parliament and good views over London but it was all over in half an hour.
All in all it was worth doing as an experience.

I went with a Russian friend who was visiting London and purchased fast track tickets which were expensive but meant you could jump the long queue. It was worth the expense not just for that reason but for the wonderful views of the iconic sites of London’s skyline, the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral. Even though the afternoon was dull we could see the views clearly and took lots of photographs all the way up to the top. The London Eye also have a staff photographer at the entrance and automatic cameras to record you on the Eye which can be purchased at the end of the trip.

Got my ticket in advance to avoid the line which I'd recommend. I went at night and felt that although it looked cool in person, I couldn't convey that via camera or phone. I would be interested in seeing it during the day to see if I could spot parts of London better. It's pricey and everything around it is extremely touristy but if you're walking around a lot, it's not a bad place to pause.

Really nice experience and fantastic views of London especially on a lovely clear day like it was today.

I thought the tickets were too expensive for this even standard tickets were about £36 each and the Fast-track tickets weren’t that more expensive which is what we bought.

£138 for tickets for 3 adults is excessive in my opinion.

I also thought that too many passengers are in a capsule at a time as it was hard to see all angles/views of the city as people were blocking the view due to the numbers of families inside. It would of been a much more pleasant attraction visit with less people.

My husband, Aunt and I took my 10 year old son on the London Eye today. He has special needs and came home from school with a 50% off voucher. We booked 2 adult tickets and 1 Child. As our son receives DLA we knew we would be entitled to a free Carer ticket (to be purchased on the day.) At 50% off it seemed a great deal.

The process was fairly painless. We purchased our carer ticket from kiosk 1&2 (showing appropriate evidence) and were given Fast Track access for us all. There was a queue as you would expect but it moved smoothly and we went through security painlessly.

The flight was good fun. Be aware that the bubbles don’t stop for boarding so be prepared to be hussled on like in a ski lift! The views were fantastic and our son thoroughly enjoyed spotting trains and boats from the air whilst we scoured the skyline for the sights.

I’m not sure we would pay full price for fast track tickets given the option so we were glad of the free upgrade. Our son wears a sunflower lanyard signifying hidden disabilities and feel that was a good visual marker for security etc.

Lovely day out.
