      Informative and enjoyable tour!
Our guide, Benny, was informative, courteous and thoughtful. I enjoyed all the information he shared about Harry Potter filming locations, as well as about London in general.

Top draw gangster tour with the best ever tour guide you could imagine
This was one of the best tours I have ever been on, brilliant , Vas makes it so good and I would have paid double the price they charged, Vas has so much knowledge and energy and brings the stories to life, brilliant from start to finish and a laugh all the way, if you want a gangster tour which involves the Krays I can't imagine there would be a better one.

With train strikes and back operations getting in the way,we finally got there Early train to get us into Paddington on time. Our tour guide Russell met us and explained clearly what we were going to do and see for the next couple of hours.Russell was so enthusiastic, interesting and full of knowledge! Very good value for money,it was a beautiful sunny day , saw parts of London that i didnt know existed.

A very good tour...and a brilliant tour guide
We absolutely loved this tour and I think that the majority of that was down to our guide, Owen, who was absolutely fantastic. I say that because the actual tour doesn't show you that much (at least that you couldn't see yourself, anyway), but it really doesn't matter. Owen was fascinating, interesting and interested - and that made it a brilliantly enjoyable 2.5 hours. The sites are the sites, but it's the colour that a good guide provides that bring those sites to life. He answered tonnes of questions from the group and answered them like he'd never been asked before (even though he'd probably answered them a thousand times!) Don't expect to see a tonne of locations from the films (there are only 5 or 6 at most ) but do book with confidence, because the tour itself is great fun and a really good way to see a new part of London. As soon as we got home, we watched both films again to see those locations we had walked.

We Met at the Station, checked in The Guide seemed only interested to his script and Finishing fast. Did not check with the customers. He spoke very fast and not clearly! He ran too fast and didn‘t look if all could follow. After an hour we left very dissappointed! Have to say, we had two other- wonderful- Tours! This one was terrible!!!

      Facts & Fun
Our tour guide Ian was simply brilliant. He not only provided us with historical facts on the author, the Sherlock Holmes novels and interesting facts on various TV adaptations but could always point out further infos on London sights we passed on our walk. Very much enjoyed this tour!

      Bridgerton Walking Tour
Me and my husband did the Bridgerton walking tour in Bath and it was lovely. Our tour guide was very sweet and knowledgeable about Baths history and Bridgerton, it was fun learning some history and being at the sights where the show was filmed. Would recommend

The tour leaded by Russel was great. He gave us new info related not only to the movie, but also to the author of Paddington character.

Great time on the Paddington tour
We did the Paddington walking tour with Ben, who was a great guide! Definitely recommend it if you are a fan of the movies, whether you are a child or adult :) It was also nice that the main spots we visited (Paddington station, Little Venice, and Portobello Road Market) were all things I was interested in seeing outside of Paddington too, so for a first-time visitor to London, it helped me check some things off my list!

      Gangster Tour with Vas Blackwood
Vas was fun, friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming. He made an effort to include & interact with everyone, keep us together & ensure safety near the roads. The tour was interesting, humorous at times & enlightening. It gave us a great perspective & understanding of the Krays & living in London at that time. There is swearing on the tour, it didn’t bother us but it could offend others if they’re unaware. Also drinks in the Blind Beggar were over priced.

My wife, a fan of the show, was pleased with our experience. We had plentiful time in the village to take photos, buy souvenirs, meet some locals, and even have a sausage roll from a local eatery recommended by our guide. At Highclere, there was also plentiful time to see the inside, walk the grounds, and have tea and scones. There are some nice souvenirs in their gift shop. My wife really liked that our guide and driver, Fiona and Steve, were obviously dedicated to giving us the best experience possible.

This was one of the highlight tours of my trip! Although the drive is long, you are able to stop half way at a huge rest area that was more like a mall! It had clean restrooms and a food court with a variety of foods. You can pick up a sandwich and chips there or wait and grab something at the cafe in Downton. Our visit was very rainy so we weren’t able to visit the grounds as much, making the shelter from the rain in the cafe nice. What to expect:
Leave on the bus, stop at rest area, tour the city of Brampton for ab an hour. The tour guide did a great job showing us where different scenes were filmed and how they transformed buildings, light posts, signs, benches, etc. After that we journeyed on to Highclere. The line was relatively short to tour the castle. I would definitely get in line for that first and then explore the remainder of cool things afterwards. Again, even with the rain this was one of my favorite tours of our trip!

This could have been a fantastic tour however there were too many issues that detracted. First of all, the mini bus was in horrible condition and very unclean. Even though we arrived early before everyone else we were stuck in the back of the bus where evidently the shocks were completely worn out. Then our guide must have been having a bad day as he seamed completely out of control of the timing of the tour stops and events, gave incomplete or unclear directions to the tour participants, and frankly seamed very unsure of his knowledge of the tour subject, although at times he did seam to know what he was talking about. His attempt at humor and his waiting 10 minutes past the start time for participants that never showed, were examples of things that could be addressed differently going forward.

This was such a great experience. Our tour guide Emma R. was friendly and knowledgeable. She played Downton Abbey episodes for us on the trip out and the 1st Downton Abbey movie on the way back to London. Seeing Highclere Castle for the first time as you come up the drive is pretty special. You can't take photos inside which is the only downside. Otherwise it was well worth the money! The trip into Bampton was fun too, great to see the buildings/homes that were used in filming.

The Small Group Downton Abbey and village tour from London was one of the highlights of our trip to London! Our guide, Chris, was very engaging and very knowledgeable, sharing many interesting details of the filming of the show and also the area, the history of the. castle and its current residents. Highclere Castle was exactly as I had pictured! So beautiful! And I also enjoyed the tour of Bampton village! It was interesting to see it as it looks today as compared with how it appeared in the show. If you are fan of the show, don't miss the opportunity to take this tour!

This tour was well organized and our guide, Emma, was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our small group was on a full-size bus which was comfortable. Our only suggestion would be that the guide have a microphone on the the bus as it was hard to hear her commentary from our seats.

We enjoyed the tour of Bampton village, seeing the filming locations for the show. Highclere Caste was great to see - photography inside would be nice although we realize this is a castle policy, not one of the tour company.

We visited on the record hot day, so our time at Highclere was somewhat too long as it was too hot to spend much time wandering around the grounds. On a cooler day, this would have been nice to do!

We would definitely recommend this tour!

This was a wonderful tour and as fans of the show, it was great to see the house, the village and the grounds.

As an added bonus the food for sale was reasonably priced and good too. The meat pastry was excellent!

Our only complaint (hence the 4 out of 5) is there could/should be more Downton Abbey references for those of us that are fans of the show more than fans of history.

Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to any fans of the show and movies.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience on Brit Movie Tours' tour to Downton Abbey yesterday. Our guide, Stewart, was extremely knowledgeable and funny...he added to the experience immeasurably. Seeing Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey) was a dream come true for both of us, and we loved seeing the rooms in person that we've seen so many times on TV. We also enjoyed visiting Bampton, the village in Downton Abbey. We were really glad that we chose the small group tour rather than a large one. Highly recommended!

For any Downton Abbey fan this is a must do! Our tour guide was fun, knowledgeable, and gave you enough time and space to experience it all. Her flip book of the scenes in the show showing us where we were and what we were seeing was great! Highclere Castle is just stunning! I truly wish they'd let us take photos inside. We never felt rushed in our visit. A small group tour like this is the way to go.

What a fantastic day! On a picture perfect day visit to Highclere Castle, this trip did not disappoint. The journey by coach was smooth and easy. Stewart was a great witty guide who pointed out things along the way and was very knowledgeable about Highclere and the Downton Abbey show. He showed the different filming locations and how the production used the Castle to bring the story to life. We explored the house and grounds and had time for drinks, just relaxing and taking it all in. It was an intimate small group and much fun,
