The Museum is amazing… our tour guide Ivo was very friendly and interesting, answered all our questions… I would recomend this tour!

The British Museum is daunting, with so much to see that it can feel overwhelming. Laurence, our guide and a true lifelong Londoner, expertly navigated the museum to pick out not only the most famous gems, but also the most interesting. Giving both historical and cultural context, and delivering with a quick and ironic wit, Laurence brought us the museum on a personal scale. Priceless.

Our guide, Lawrence, was absolutely brilliant! Between my husband and myself, we have over forty years of experience training guides on battlefields around the US and public speaking in many professional venues: Universities; Military Academies, etc. Lawrence was among the very best we have ever seen. He has all the right qualities and talents to make your time with him the experience of a lifetime. His passion for his subject and his comfortable style are absolutely infectious. Even if you don’t like museums much when you arrive…you WILL after spending time with Lawrence! Kudos, Lawrence! You’re the BEST!

Sascha was outstanding. This is an incredible museum. Sascha, our tour guide, has a graduate degree in ancient history and was able to add a lot throughout the tour.

Sacha was a brilliant, knowledgeable tour guide and we learned so much from him! We could have spent an entire day at the museum - there is so much to see! Our only regret is that our tour ended at 4 and the museum closed at 5 (our mistake). I wish we had taken a morning tour and then spent several hours exploring afterwards. But Sacha helped us to see so many key exhibits (the Rosetta Stone, mummies, the Parthenon figures, a Raster Island Statue) and gave us an educated explanation of what we were seeing. He was very fun and engaging throughout. If you do only one tour in London, this is the one!

Jamie did an amazing job communicating our meeting point and giving us an overview. As a trained history major from the area, he is able to navigate and describe in detail to you historically significant artifacts within this superb museum. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Excellent excursion! The museum is overwhelming with millions of artifacts. We simply didn’t have time to explore it all. Our guide, Laurence, gave us a detailed explanation of the highlights of the museum with current details.

Jamie was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and patient with all our different questions. He provided great insight into each picture regarding the time period and the painter. Our experience was well worth the cost of the tour. Sam Brilliant

Matilda was a fantastic guide!! She gave us great context around all of the art we saw, which really helped us appreciate and understand the artists. Matilda was so personable and inquisitive about how we were experiencing the art. Highly recommend!!

Jamie did an excellent job walking us through the evolution of artists and painting in Europe. He used his iPad to provide additional content that enriched our experience.

Upgraded the semi-private to a private tour for a group of four with a couple of extra hours on a business trip. Matilda was an amazing guide maneuvering us through the museum, providing a fascinating and detailed narrative on the artifacts and the museum itself. Definitely the only way to experience this expansive collection in a reasonable amount of time.

Sheldon was a terrific guide. Knowledgeable, entertaining, communicative. First visit and can’t imagine finding my way around without him. Highly recommend!!! British Museum is not to be missed, obviously, and Sheldon added to its charms!
