Outstanding day trip
Mar 2020
Lilly made the day an extremely enjoyable trip .the virus scare kept many people home but Lilly could not have been more personable, attentive and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We look forward to another trip with her. Her knowledge of the history and culture of England was remarkable. The smaller bus allowed her to go down lanes that the big bus companies couldn’t so this allowed us to visit places that the big buses only talk about

Wonderful Tour
Nov 2019
My spouse and I were in London last week and we went on the Cotswolds, Oxford and Stratford upon Avon tour with Lilly. Lilly was awesome and we had a great time on this tour. From the time we got on the bus near the London Eye until Lilly dropped us off close to our hotel we enjoyed her hospitality and her knowledge she was willing to share with us. We enjoyed the small tour size and the whole day was very enjoyable. Lilly provided us with all kinds of history during our driving and during our walking tour of Oxford. We also enjoyed the time we got to explore by ourselves in the Cotswolds villages and in Oxford. If you are in London and wanting a fabulous tour, this is the one!!

Fantastic Tour!
Nov 2019
My family and I went on 2 different tours with The English Bus. One is to Stratford Upon Avon/Cotswolds/Oxford and the other tour is to the Stonehenge/Bath/Secret Place. Our guide for both days was Colin. He was a really friendly and professional guide, sharing a wealth of knowledge with us on the points of interests and making a connection with all the fellow passengers. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 tours with Colin and only wished that The English Bus can run more variety of tours as we went on a separate one with Golden Tours to Leeds Castle and the whole experience was rather underwhelming in comparison. We would definitely book The English Bus again on our next London vacation!

Cotswolds, here we come!
Nov 2019
Relax in a comfortable Mercedes van, be informed by Colin, one of the most informed and funny guides we've ever travelled with, tour Shakespeare's home, motor gently over the rolling hills and through the iconic villages of the Cotswolds and learn about the many unusual haunts in Oxford and tales of its university. Relax on the way back to London as you listen to Colin's great musical playlist. All in all a great day in the English countryside.

Much more than expected!
Oct 2019
Our day trip on the English Bus from London took us first to Stratford, next to the Cotswolds and finally to Oxford. It was the perfect order for visiting this area. Our driver/guide, Colin, made this journey fun and interesting. He pointed out highlights of interest along the way which added to the lengthy drive. The walking tour in both Stratford and Oxford provided an overview of the area as well as "time on our own" for exploration ( authentic English pub for fish and chips) and shopping! We were so pleased with this company and the professional, kind treatment we received. Definitely the highlight of our U.K. adventure.

Travel in Style!
Oct 2019 • Solo
I’ve never done a group tour before, let alone one where you are, ummm, bound to the same people for an entire 12 hours. But I really wanted to see the Cotswolds and I really did NOT want to try and drive on the left side of the road.

This tour company is lovely, and our guide, Lilly, was very fun. She knows so much, is at connecting with people, and is a pleasure to be around. The coach is brand new, comfortable, and high end. And since it’s not a big bus, it can get into places the large ones can’t- like tiny roads through the Cotswolds.

My one suggestion would be to allow for a bit more exploring time in the Cotswolds- maybe trimming a bit of time at both Shakespeare’s hometown and Oxford. Lilly did an amazing job of driving us through a few Cotswold villages with lovely music playing, and I loved seeing them go by. But we were only able to walk around in one briefly.

This is a great tour, company, and guide. Book it!

Hi Jen, Thanks for taking the time to review your recent tour with us. We are delighted to hear that you had a good time, and found Lilly to be fun - we think so too, and we are very lucky to have her as part of our small team here at The English Bus. We are very lucky to have had you join us for your first ever group tour - and let us take the strain of the navigation too, and of course as we travel on a small bus, we can take the back roads through some glorious countryside that the big buses couldn't dream of reaching. Your feedback about the Cotswolds itinerary has been noted, and we are investigating ways to potentially increase the time we spend here. We usually make a couple of stops in very picturesque villages, and of course see some other charming villages on our meandering journey through the Cotswolds too. Thank you so much for choosing to travel with us, I hope you will be a small group tour convert from now on, and would love to welcome you back for another of our tours on your next visit! Many thanks, Jen

Wonderful, Beautiful Day Trip
Sep 2019
I truly can not say enough good things about "The English Bus" tour to Oxford, Stratford and Cotswolds. Big shout out to Lilly, the best tour guide EVER! She is so knowledgeable, personable with a lovely sense of humor! The size of the bus is a bit more intimate than the larger bus tours. Ours sat 16 guest. We were able to go down narrow roads in the Cotswolds and see some of the most beautiful countryside I have ever seen. Not sure the larger buses would take the same route. Lilly, also put on lovely music during this portion of our tour in the Cotswolds, we were all transported to our own little place in time. Stratford is a a quaint little town, home of Shakespeare. Oxford is a bustling college town, beautiful buildings! Lilly tells the most amazing stories! I a nutshell, I highly recommend The English Bus tour! Can't wait for my next trip to London and see where the English Bus will take me!
