Our tour guide Frank was very professional, friendly, with a great sense of humor, and courteous. Our chafer Andrew was also very nice and drives us safe all the time on the narrow streets of London. Frank gave us very interesting information and pointed out all the places and details that you expected to know. A little time for everything like most of the tours, but enjoyable. He makes the tour more enjoyable by giving you information about London and its many interesting places on your way to and back on the tour. Thank you, Frank!!!
Information: You will be 2 hours in Oxford from 10 to 12 this stop is just to give you time to have lunch. Then you go to Bampton for about an hour. Finally, you get to Highclere Castle from 15 to 17. The Castle close at 17. If you want to buy Downtown Abbey memorabilia, you have to do that at Bampton. If you don't rush yourself through the Castle you will not be able to see Lord Carnarvon’s Egyptian Collection, if you take into consideration that he financed the excavation of Tutankhamun’s tomb, this collection is of great historical importance and a very interesting part of the tour.
Oxford is a beautiful city, we spend some days there and in less than two hours you don’t have time to find a nice place to eat.
In the end, we didn’t have time to see anything properly.

A great tour!
A fabulous tour with Andrew. He was very humorous and kept us all entertained during the 10-hours. We toured Oxford, Brampton, and Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). At each Oxford and Brampton we had a guided tour and then about and hour on our own to explore whatever we wanted. At Highclere, we arrived later in the day, which was great since there were not too many tourists by then. We had a self-paced walk though the filming rooms in the castle. After, we were able to enjoy any of the “cafes” outside on the grounds as well as the 1 small bar with wine, cocktails, and beer. You took your purchases and sat under the umbrellas or trees on the spectacular grounds. Andrew had encouraged us to wait until after touring the interior (no photos in the house allowed by the owners), to do our exterior photos. By that time there were no tourists lined up, so we had unobstructed shots. It was a lovely leisurely end to a great day.

All in all a terrific tour with Andrew, who should be a comedian. It didn’t feel like a long day because we were having a great time.

Great Downton tour!

Wonderful tour for a Downton Abbey fan! James, our tour guide, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and gave great commentary the whole day. And Andre, the driver, did great, especially making our way in a huge bus through small towns/streets.

My only feedback would be that it felt like our time in Bampton was 20-30 minutes too long. It was fun to get to see all the sites that the show was filmed, but there wasn’t much to do after that.

Great Oxford and Downtown Abbey Tour!

Our guide, Karen, and our driver Nono (not sure of the spelling of his name, I'm sorry!) did a fantastic job. They were so accommodating and compassionate and the trip was really fun. We did Oxford, Bampton (village), and Highclere Castle. Karen was so witty and charming and genuinely seemed to love checking in with us and the other passengers. Nono was also very witty and fun. All in all, a great trip that I would heartily recommend.

Top notch tour

Our guide, Frank, was very informative and had a sense of humor. He was quick to show us points of interest and tell us the history, but wasn’t overly talkative. He was cheerful and helpful. A great guide!
Eduardo, our driver, was so skillful on the narrow streets of London. He drove our bus with ease. He was friendly and always had a smile.
You will love spending your day on this tour. Every stop was meaningful and made you happy you chose this tour.
Highclere Castle blew me away. What a thrill!

This tour is a must
The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because of the chaos at Victoria Coach Station before the tour. Really crazy and I may stay away from this tour group next time because of it.

That being said I really recommend the actual tour itself. Our guide, Frank and driver, Andre were great. The time in Oxford, Bamley and Highclere was wonderful.

Loved see Mrs Crowley’s house in town and hearing the stories about filming there.

The 2 hours at Highclere were the best. Touring the house was wonderful and then walking the grounds, having scones and tea and visiting the gift shop was relaxing and really quite peaceful.

Frank our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative with a mux of good humor thrown in. The trip was well organized although could have used a bit more time in Oxford. The trip to Brampton and Highclere Castle for fans was a wonderful treat.
Plenty of time to enjoy the grounds, gardens and have some delicious treats.

Tour of Downton Abbey missing one of the important features of the mansion.
The high point of this tour is Highclere Castle also known as Downton Abbey. Yet the visit is timed to arrive AFTER Lord Carnarvon’s Egyptian Collection is closed. Considering that he financed the excavation of Tutankhamun’s tomb, his collection is of great historical importance. We were deeply disappointed to miss it. I wish the tour would arrange its arrival one hour earlier.
