Meet your guide at Central London’s Victoria Coach Station bright and early: Your full-day tour kicks off first thing in the morning. Board a comfortable, Wi-Fi-equipped coach and depart for your first destination: Windsor Castle. The oldest continually occupied castle in the world, Windsor Castle. With the company of an audio guide, learn the history behind the landmark as you wander through its State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel. If you’re lucky, you may just see the Changing of the Guard ceremony. Next, climb back on board and make your way to Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating to the Neolithic Age, the landmark is full of mystery: Discover more about its backstory with an audio tour. The excursion continues to the charming city of Oxford, home to the world-renowned Oxford University. Had an amazing trip with Robert as a tour guide, he shares super exciting stories, really knows his subject very well.

The trip itself was pleasant, though the one in Oxford was too short given the immense potential of the city to take pictures in. I’d recommend ones who have longer time for a trip to spend some good hours in Oxford especially when the weather is amazing. If you don’t, then this is the best package for you

Also congrats for your child’s graduation in physics from Oxford! :)

Cheers to our tour guide Simon. He was knowledgable and was so informative, even providing history and details of different landmarks as we passed by them on our way out of London. My wife and I were excited to check out these historical places for the first time. I particularly wanted to see Stonehenge while she wanted to see Oxford the most.

We were not too hyped about the Windsor Castle portion, so we opted to not get tickets to enter the castle. We did take that chance to just walk around the area and it was nice to start off our trip with a nice stroll up and down the streets while the rest of the group got to see the castle. Simon was really good in reminding us and making sure all of us were back on the bus in time to head to our next stop.

Stonehenge was tremendous. (We were given a little map with information we could listen to through our voice box on the bus and at the site. Very useful in prepping us for the monument.) I did wish we had more than an hour or so to check out the monument and see the store. Simon helped us out by suggesting how much time we should spend at each location. It was a great day to see this site and the highlight of the tour for me.

My wife was excited about Oxford and due to the traffic getting there, Simon decided to alter the walking tour portion of it to compensate for lost time. He was still very informative while making sure we still got a good grasp and feel of this city and the university. It was challenging though if we ended up in the back of the group because our voice box would be too far and we wouldn't be able to pick up the signal and hear him. Despite that, we got a great sense of the area in the condensed tour from Simon.

We got back to London on time and Simon even provided us food recommendations and the best routes to take to see other places in London through the tube.

We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see these sites for the first time.

Dear SLamR, Thank you for leaving us feedback. Seeing that you had a 5-Star experience is the best thing we could hope. While we do agree that we would like to give more time to our guests at each location, it is difficult due to the driving hour legislation, however we do have other tours that cover only two venues in a day which allow more time to explore, please visit our website for more information. We will pass on the kind words over to Simon and we hope you come visit us again soon! Best wishes Evan Evans Team

My husband and I had our tour with Simon, this was on a Wednesday and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! Windsor castle was closed as the King was there conducting business, but that left more time to explore the town of Windsor. We explored Stonehenge and were so lucky with a beautiful day. Simon had wonderful stories and facts about each location as we came to them sharing the history and highlights. Pointing out Harry Potter locations for those wizards on board. We had great laughs and enjoyed walking through Oxford on the optional 40 minute walking tour. I highly recommend Evan Evans for anyone looking to book a day tour. We did not feel rushed or like we missed out on anything. Simon is knowledgeable and well spoken about all the areas of this tour. 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10/10 would recommend. The coach is comfortable and air conditioning was nice, wifi worked the whole time with available USB charging so all comforts you will need to enjoy your time aboard.

I do not believe most of the reviews here now....do not know where to start. I expected to spend 515$ and at least get something. we ( 4 of us including kids were left in the parking lot and the bus left without us. On top of everything, they promised on web site around 2 hours in Winsor. Instead of it we only spent in there 45 min running through the rooms and not even time to see things and we kept running to the bus and found Nothing. We were 5 min late to the bus because the guide told us there is no problem coming at 11.50. The bus left and never attempted to contact us and we called in the hope they return. So we paid our own money $65 for tickets to get back to London.
I tried to refund, and they kept refusing and the customer service supervisor never showed up. Basically, 4 of us feel like cattle and paid for it too. We also met other people who were left behind. At a train station, they told us this Vitor partner operator does it all the time...Also if you have an issue they will refuse to help!!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you missed our coach in Windsor. As I am sure the guide explained to you on the day, the schedule is very tight, so to ensure a smooth running of the tour it is vital that all guests report back to the coach by the given time. Our guides will always do their best to wait for latecomers, but there is only a certain amount of time that they can do this for before it impacts the experience of everyone else that did re-join the tour on time. If you wish to discuss your experience further, please email us with your booking reference at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk All the best, Evan Evans Team

The Evan Evans Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford tour was an easy way to visit three amazing places near London in one day. There is a lot to see, but the tour made it a great experience to see these famous historical places.

Our guide was Katia, and she was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and professional, and willing to chat and answer every question. She has a wonderful personality, charisma and sense of humor that really added enjoyment to the tour. A great mix of historical knowledge and interesting stories that you would not find anywhere else.

We highly recommend this tour for any groups or families visiting England!

We enjoyed the day! It was nice to be able to get on the bus and not stress about driving in another country. The bus has USB ports at each seat to charge phones which was nice.

We had Lesley as our guide and Paul as our driver and what a team they are! It seemed as though they loved showing us around. Lesley was very knowledgeable and had a lot to tell us about everywhere we went!

I will say, we did feel a little rushed at Windsor Castle, so if that's a place that you feel you want extra time at you should look into another tour. But for us personally it didn't take away from the day! We chose to not grab the offered Audio Tour and walked through the state rooms without listening.

It was pouring rain and very windy at Stonehenge, rain coats would be a great idea to have just incase 😬

They give you time at each place but you're responsible for finding your own lunch. So, if you want more time at the sites, I would recommend packing some sandwiches and snacks to have on the bus so you don't have to worry about finding lunch and missing out on wanted time at each place. They don't allow hot food or beverages on the bus.

Even with a ton of rain it still was an awesome day!

This tour was a great way to get out of the city and see some of the countryside while visiting iconic landmarks along the way. Our guide, Godfrey, was very informative and experienced with the route, and offered great commentary and expertise into the best ways to get the most out of each location. Fitting all 3 of these locations in one day means that each stop is a bit shorter than I would have liked (you could spend a whole day at Windsor Castle or in Oxford), but given the time constraints I think we made the most of each location. You have plenty of time to grab lunch during the day, but if you want a bit extra time you should pack refreshments for the day so you’re not spending time looking for lunch.

We took this jam packed day trip with Kevin. Kevin did a great job of telling the story of all three locations and somehow was able to give a brief but humorous history of England from Stonehenge to the present with the stories of all the famous monarchs. Very well done.

Guide Godfrey and driver Mason are both friendly and service orientated. Godfrey provided the right amount of commentary that was informative, insightful and entertaining. We toured on a Weds (we were well aware that the castle was closed on Weds). Therefore our entire tour was at a very good pace and we never felt rushed to get back to the coach on time. Recommend for one of your days in London!

A great way to visit three amazing places near London in one day. Especially with Rowan as your guide! A professional approach, an inexhaustible supply of perfectly dosed information, a willingness to answer every inquisitive question, all delivered with a wonderful sense of humour that will make you enjoy even the eventual queuing. A great mix of historical knowledge and interesting stories about the royal family that you would not find in the usual guidebooks. I loved every second of it!
