About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ctpot0 contributionsGood times! We were guided through our three stops by our tour guide Cameron and driver Raad. The drive was comfortable and easy and our guide was a blast. Cameron brought us through the history behind each of the sites before our visits. He mixed in plenty of humor and interesting cultural tidbits. We really enjoyed how personable and helpful he was. He introduced me to the best pint of cider I've had in the UK! This tour is a great way to quickly introduce you to these sites, but be aware that you could easily spend a full day at Windsor and a few at Bath.Written March 20, 2025
- marco753380 contributionsWINDSOR, STONHENGE AND BATHThe tour was organised very well. My wife and I, were the only Italians and even if our English is not impeccable, Cameron (the tour guide) was very kind and patient. The times to visit the chosen places are sufficient (the journey is very long); a tour that I highly recommend. Thanks Cameron and thanks RonWritten March 20, 2025

- justbw0 contributionsTitle: A Majestic Journey Through History at Windsor CastleVisiting Windsor Castle was an unforgettable experience for both me and my daughter, one that truly immerses you in centuries of history and royal grandeur. As the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, Windsor Castle offers an incredible glimpse into the British monarchy's past, with beautifully preserved rooms, vast grounds, and captivating stories that bring it all to life. Walking through the State Apartments was like stepping into another time, with luxurious furnishings, fine art, and stunning tapestries. The Changing of the Guard ceremony is a must-see, showcasing a wonderful display of tradition and pageantry that adds to the castle's timeless charm. The grounds, with their manicured gardens and picturesque views, provide a perfect spot to relax and reflect on the castle's centuries-old legacy. Don't forget to visit St. George's Chapel, a magnificent example of Gothic architecture, where royal weddings and significant events have taken place. Windsor Castle is not just a tourist attraction, but a living piece of history that leaves you with a profound sense of awe. Whether you’re a history buff or just seeking a glimpse into royal life, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone in the area. I can’t wait to return to explore even more!Written March 20, 2025

Cameron (tour guide) and Uttam (bus driver) were very professional and provided a very entertaining and enthusiastic experience.
Cameron provided informative and witty commentary about the 3 primary points we were to see as well as some additional tidbits on sights along the way.
I enjoyed learning the history of the 3 very different points, and they were on my must see list on this trip so I was glad to get to them in 1 day from London. The pace was about right for a tour of this type. It took about 12 hours total. Keep in mind that you don’t spend a lot of time at each place but we never felt rushed. We also were fortunate to have a sunny day in late November.
Cameron also made sure at each stop and even at the end of the tour that everyone knew where / when to be and were were able to make it back to their accommodations at the end of the tour. He also provided entertainment and dining suggestions for other days.
A great experience for us and I would definitely recommend if you want a “highlight” tour of Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford in 1 day.

We booked this guided tour because it allowed us to see three important places outside London in a single day and really at a good price. What we did not expect were Robert, the Guide, and Terry, the Driver. Super nice and helpful, they accompanied us throughout the day with infinite patience. Robert explained the history of the historical and archaeological sites we visited, embroidering it with endless curiosities and nods to literature (even fantasy) that I enjoyed so much, really informed and captivating, we were never bored, thank you very much!!
Recognition to Terry who Guides, despite the traffic of London and tourist sites, without making you feel car sick, we also managed to sleep between places. A perfect day!

My family and I went on a day tour from London to Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford. From start to finish it was a great day out! So well organised, meeting up at Victoria Coach Station was a breeze. Easy to find the tour guide and off we went! Robert is fantastic, so much knowledge of history and fun stories that you might not otherwise have heard. Lucian is an expert driver, manoeuvring through traffic and transporting us safely from stop to stop on time. Both Robert and Lucian were friendly, kind and very professional.
We purchased the entry tickets before we left and that made entering each site seamless and time-saving.
The addition of the audio boxes was great for when we were out and about. Easy to hear what Robert was saying while on tour.
The coach itself was clean and comfortable. USB ports for charging your device and wifi on-board.
Would definitely recommend Robert and Lucian to anyone looking for an interesting and informative day out.
10/10!

We had a fabulous time with good weather. Our driver and guide changed the order of places to visit due to traffic accident going to Windsor. So we did the Stonehenge last which means we were the last tour bus to arrive and leave and there were very few people and no waiting for shuttle nor toilets. It is rushed but we knew that because of the distance needed to travel but it was enough time as a taster and quick photo trip. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have mobility concerns or with young kids or to anyone who wishes to spend a lot of time in the places of interest. It is however a great value for money if you’re pressed for time or budget. Definitely worth it and Evan Evans a long standing tour company so I trusted it.

Had a great experience on the Windsor, Stonehenge, and Oxford day tour with Evans and Evans. Our guide, Kelvin, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about each location. His ability to switch seamlessly between English and Japanese was impressive, making the tour accessible and engaging for a diverse group.
Kelvin’s storytelling brought the history of Windsor Castle and Oxford to life, and his detailed explanations at Stonehenge added a lot of value to the experience. We were rushed due to being late and also there is too many other tours by other companies happening during December period. He was organized, patient, and ensured the tour ran smoothly while trying to catch up time at each stop.
If you’re looking for a guide who knows the history inside out and can make the day enjoyable in multiple languages, Kelvin is a great choice. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting a comprehensive and well-paced visit to these iconic site.

Kelvin's ability to provide fascinating insights while seamlessly switching between English and Japanese is truly a special skill, and we're delighted that you found his storytelling and explanations valuable.
Windsor, Stonehenge, and Oxford it is a taster tour it allows you to see three of the UK top attractions but due to distances covered, time at each location is limited.
We do also offer tours that visit fewer venues and allow for a more leisurely visit (for example our tour to Stonehenge & Bath and Stonehenge & Windsor). Should you wish to travel with us again in the future we would be more than happy to recommend some of them to you.
Thank you again and we send you our very best wishes,

On December 26, 2024, we spent the day with Mel on the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Oxford tour. He bought this tour to life with his EXCEPTIONAL detail, charming personality and clear love for his profession. This was our first trip to London from the US and wish we could have had Mel as our guide throughout London. You could tell how he engaged with each individual on this tour that he truly loved providing us insight into a world we didn’t know. Providing us insight into his world, into London. Mel’s customer service is innate and rare and he is truly an asset to your company. Thank you Mel for an extraordinary tour! Our driver Bass was professional, courteous, friendly and made us all feel very safe. Thank you all! Denise Russell

Sorry for the 4 star
The tour was amazing and the day was spent well with other travellers. The tour guide was an amazing person and knew how to cut hours and queues at the location. The places are amazing which i visited today.
The most amazing place was Oxford as per my view.
The only reason for 4 star rating is CHECK-IN
Yes the tour start time is 8 am and I reached 7:30 on location.
But they didn't mention the gate number on Victoria coach station. So I waste my 3-5 minutes to find that
When I finally found one and asked the staff they made me stand in queue I just heard Evans tour from a trip advisor. The queue was long and when my turn came they told me it was another one and I needed to go to another gate.
When I go to another gate, the lady on the gate without looking at my mobile tickets and without listening to me sends me to the national coach ticket window
I spend 10 minutes over there
Finally my turn came
They said he can't do anything and ask that lady again
And then finally they let me in
So they wasted my half hour like that because of their focus and incompetence staff.
Even after I'm local here they treat me like that I can't imagine what they did with others..sorry to say this.

Had an amazing trip with Robert as a tour guide, he shares super exciting stories, really knows his subject very well.
The trip itself was pleasant, though the one in Oxford was too short given the immense potential of the city to take pictures in. I’d recommend ones who have longer time for a trip to spend some good hours in Oxford especially when the weather is amazing. If you don’t, then this is the best package for you
Also congrats for your child’s graduation in physics from Oxford! :)

I noticed that Evan Evans Tour has two tour Winsor, Stonehenge and Oxford day trips from London. One $89.98 and the other $145. Could you please tell me the differences between these two?

It states in the additional information that “Windsor Castle is closed June 4, 15.” Does this mean it is closed June 4-15 or just on those 2 days?

Bonjour,

There are various tours which cover more or less destinations. It's best to look for a tour that fits within your schedule rather than leaving the tour, which may not be allowed for this company.
