What to Expect

Meet your guide at Piccadilly Circus at an agreed time and start with a short overview of the morning’s events. Then walk down Lower Regent Street towards Waterloo Place where you stop to hear some geography and history about the area.

Continue along the Mall, stopping at different landmarks, and then walk to St. James Palace, where the old Guard arrives for their inspection.

Next, you march in step with the Queen’s Guard, and then your guide leads you to Wellington Barracks, before finishing the tour with a view of Buckingham Palace.

Please note: you will need to keep apace with the Guard and climb two flights of stairs; so will need relative fitness to take the tour.

You dont have to be an olympian. Average fitness is all that's required. If you use a walking stick it's probably not a good idea. There is a flight steps to climb an descend but other than that most of it is on the flat.
