- hgc810 contributionsGhost tour for the whole familyMyself and my son had George for the tour, he was fantastic. My son loved the story’s. He has an in depth knowledge of London history. I would recommend the tour without a doubt.Written October 3, 2024

- DavidfromNY0 contributionsVery enjoyable tour with George.George was really fantastic. It was nice to see London with an actual London Cockney. He was knowable, lively and energetic, He was also very patient with my young son who loves to ask questions at these types of things.Written September 4, 2024
- kevinmN7436LO0 contributionsHighly recommended - fascinating!Absolutely and highly recommended - we loved it! George is a brilliant guide, and he threw in so many extra and fascinating facts about the history of London, that it felt like we were getting two tours for the price of one! His excellent projection and delivery meant that even those of us with a hearing impairment were able to hear every word, and the ghost stories were entertaining and historical, and not at all disturbing for those of a slightly nervous disposition… If you are looking for an enjoyable evening with a knowledgeable and charming guide then look no further!Written August 31, 2024
- Lind_R660 contributionsEnjoyable Ghost TourLovely evening walk around the streets of the city of London. George was engaging and informative. We are looking forward to planning our next walking tour.Written August 26, 2024
- aprilbR4328AZ0 contributionsGreat Tour for Harry Potter Fans!I did the Harry Potter walking tour last week with my best friend, and we had so much fun! Our tour guide, George, was a Harry Potter expert telling us lots of fun facts about the locations we visited. Not only that, as we walked around, he would tell us other interesting things about famous places in the city as we went by. We feel like we got to see so many Harry Potter locations (Diagon Alley, King's Cross, Gringott's, Grimmauld Place, etc), and we only needed to use the metro once, I think. The tour does involve a lot of walking, so keep that in mind. My only disappointment (which had nothing to do with George which is why I'm still giving it 5 stars) was that Viator didn't notify our tour guide that we had booked the tour until the very last minute. George was kind enough to rearrange his schedule so we could still do the tour, but Viator was not on top of things.Written August 19, 2024
- snackthak0 contributionsWonderful tour through the history of London.A wonderful walking tour filled with interesting stories, history and all around fun. As you know, these tours are built on the knowledge and charisma of the guides and George was absolutely wonderful. Recommended!Written August 8, 2024
- jillmarie19830 contributionsExcellent last minute decision!I'm so grateful that I was allowed to join at the last minute because my evening had opened up, and I had really wanted to go on a London ghost tour. The guide was knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He offered extra stories when they were available and provided context (which I appreciated as a teacher)! He also knew exactly where I should sit for my very unrelated but necessary picture where the Feed the Birds lady sat in Mary Poppins. Thank you so much.Written August 2, 2024
- 365margauxa0 contributionsAmazing experience !That was a great experience, George our guide was so interesting, passionate and funny ! He even told us stories about the French, since we are French :) The night tour and the monuments were magnificent, we highly recommend it! Once again, thank you George for this moment !Written August 1, 2024
- jakelU1781TZ0 contributionsA great tourI couldn't have asked for a better guide than George. I highly recommend this experience if you're thinking about it do it.Written July 27, 2024
- Enihtram890 contributionsHighly reccomendFun and engaging guided tour with George! Had so much fun learning thrilling stories in parts of the city we never would have discovered on our own!Written July 26, 2024
- MikeP6850 contributionsGreat Guide Ghostly TourFirstly a big thank you to George, you were excellent mate. Earlier in the day I joined a guided tour in Leicester Square with another company and frankly I could barely hear a word the guide said. No such problem with George, this guy can really project his voice. He also gave the tour his all and backed it up with an impressive level of local knowledge. I have done more than eighty guided walks in London since the mid 1980's and there have been some poor ones among them but that was not the case here. So thanks for a great tour George and hopefully you will get to Holbeach House and see what Wolverhampton has to offer.Written July 25, 2024
- borb_lam3730 contributionsWould recommend if you like historic pubs, beer and sightseeing on footLovely and knowledgeable guide, fun facts not only about pubs but history of the city also, nice venues, we could try different types of beer and cyder at the stops.Written July 14, 2024
- R7249RJsoniar0 contributionsFun experience but not what advertisedThe tour guide George was wonderful… full of stories and interesting facts about London. The tour itself is nowhere close to what is advertised… in the two hour walk we had 5-6 stops at locations that had seen a ghost. Not ‘ghastly’ by any standards.Written July 11, 2024
- Explorer231234181190 contributionsGeorge's Ghost TourFell in love with London, the historical stops, and George. For real, George was amazing. Is he single? Asking for a friend. Bravo.Written June 29, 2024

George was a great narrator who kept this tour very entertaining. He managed and engaged with the crowd giving some great information. He was loud enough to be heard at the back of the group and didn’t allow the people who can distract the tour to do so, gently getting everyone involved. It didn’t feel rushed and he made you feel that you were the only one he was talking to. I was a little concerned when I booked because I read that they take tours of up to 40 people but ours had nearer 50 and it really wasn’t an issue.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that was thinking of gaining a little bit more knowledge about Jack the Ripper, especially if George is your guide.

George was a wonderful guide, super knowledgable and so interesting. We’ve been raving about him to our friends ever since! Thoroughly recommend. I live in London and it was really great to hear more of the history of the city, you don’t just have to be a tourist to enjoy this experience :)

Took this evening tour on Sunday with my 2 sons. We all agreed this was one of our all time favourite guided tours. George was just the best guide--he has an incredible in depth knowledge of the subject and an ability to paint a picture of what life was in 1888 in each area of the various stops. A naturally friendly and good humoured guy George made sure everyone in our party felt involved and as we walked between the various stops he engaged us in conversation. George should be thanked wholeheartedly for making this such an enjoyable 90 minutes packed full of amazing facts. Definitely a Ripper of a tour!!!

We were originally meant to go back in Autumn time of 2020 but had to postpone everything because of lockdown and they were so accomodation and great at being flexible and communicating with us. We finally got to join a tour a year later and had an absolute lovely evening. George did an amazing job! He's clearly incredibly passionate about what he does and he does it exceedingly well. My husband and I learnt a lot and were engaged in the story telling the whole time. I loved it and would definitely recommend.

George was fantastic! He was very informative and engaging, providing detailed stories and theories. We learned so much while having a good time. He projected his voice well so no matter where you were standing you could hear him. Very charismatic too. Also, gave helpful ideas on pubs to visit afterwards. Glad we picked this tour over all the others…highly recommend!

What an amazing experience we had walking through the streets of Whitechapel as George brought every detail of the stories behind these murders to life. I attended with my daughter on a break to London and we both loved it. The way George weaved the facts into the theatre of the stories with a dramatic slice across his throat and many little asides, was really enjoyable. We met outside Aldgate Tube Station and I was worried that because so much of Whitechapel had been redeveloped it wouldn’t be enough, but George’s passion and knack for conjuring up images sorted that. His voice was clear and he projected well to our group of 30, even with City life as a backdrop. We’d been to the Jack the Ripper Museum on Cable Street in the afternoon which was a perfect starter before this tour. Highly recommended, many thanks George.

George our tour guide was brilliant, he was passionate, knowledgeable, and made our tour interesting and exciting. We learned a lot about the area, murders and suspects. George inspired such enthusiasm in us we are still debating it a day later. We highly recommend the tour, and look forward to doing the ghost tour George was telling us about on our next visit.

We had a great time on this tour. The guide (George) was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and professional. It was a great mix of history, walking, and creepy discussion about Jack the Ripper. Now I think I know who did it! We went in early August, so it was light out for the entire tour. It’s probably even more creepy in the dusk/dark.

George led a great tour and was clearly very knowledgable, passionate and enthusiastic about the subject. He made a cold, wet and windy night in Whitechapel fun and entertaining. I would do another guided tour led by him.

George is a wonderful, involved storyteller who obviously knows his subject matter. Very entertaining with some interesting insights. This is not your trip if you wish to be frightened or shown garish photos (which can be viwed by googling if you must), I would say the tour is for devotees of the subject matter, and for those with curiosity about who the killer might be. George, that voice needs to be on the radio!

What time of the day/night does the tour begin?
Written December 18, 2019
You will probably have to contact the tour operator about that question. We went early evening.

I believe so but you should contact the tour operator first.
