- 70stefaniei0 contributionsA fun morning! This was such a fun way to see the changing of the guards. Our guide, Paul, was fantastic. He was funny and knowledgeable- leading us through a fun morning. I thought you just stood at the gates to watch, but it was so much more! Definitely worth doing the tour to learn some history and see the entire changing process.Written October 7, 2024

- Poppyontheroad0 contributionsGreat for days with large crowds and if you haven’t been beforeI took this tour after few years back and found it an excellent way to see the best parts of the guard changing. I returned hoping to see the summer uniform, and while I wasn’t disappointed, I didn’t feel this time was worth it compared to just turning up. Pepe was motivated to ensure we had a good spot to see the old guard march past, however we didn’t move much between locations, and missing the dash between spots did reduce the feeling of excitement of the experience. Nevertheless, Pepe was an excellent and knowledgeable guide and did ensure we had a good vantage point.Written October 4, 2024
- ORMom500 contributionsMake the most of itWhat a delightful experience. Angie was a terrific guide and storyteller who shared interesting insights along the way. She made sure we knew where to stand for the best viewing of the changing guard and the accompanying Royal Band. Totally worth it. - IrishJohnB0 contributionsGuide was so-so. Probably could have done this on our own.Our tour was on September 30. The guide was just okay. She did not bring us closer to the fence around Buckingham Palace, which we were easily able to do ourselves. She kept talking while the Scots Guard band was starting to play. We went up to the fence after she said the tour was over and we were able to watch the two bands play and the guards marched all over the yard for about 20 minutes. We really enjoyed and got lots of video and good pictures. It was great, but it was our own idea. Our guide did not suggest us to do this.Written October 1, 2024
- traveltrendsonline0 contributionsChanging the Guard - Incredible experience!Wow! Today I did a tour of Changing of the Guard led by Racheal who was great - she provided a good history recap and was entertaining! She put us in the BEST LOCATIONS and as she said : "Trust the process" to be at the right time and spot for the best photos and it paid off. Thanks Racheal - you were awesome 🙂Written September 30, 2024

My husband and I went on this fantastic Hidden London Walking tour. Our guide was absolutely brilliant, so much knowledge and stories about a part of London we have always missed out, told with humour and obvious love of the subject. We enjoyed it tremendously and would recommend this tour to anyone who loves delving into the history of London.

Did this tour today with Rachel, from start to finish it was fascinating. The route goes into really old parts of London that have remarkably few tourists. The guide was great at pointing out things that we would otherwise have missed, and all credit to Fun London Tours for coming up with an experience that reveals so many hidden gems in the space of 90 minutes.

We loved the "Hidden London" walking tour with Rachel as our tour guide! Rachel was fascinating to listen to - she talked about the locations and shared information in such interesting ways! We had someone come up to us in the middle of the tour and ask for her card because he enjoyed overhearing her so much! She moved at a great pace, and was very engaging. 10/10 recommend!

Emily was wonderful. It was a bit of a rainy day and I ended up being the only person to show up for the tour. She was very knowledgeable and offered a lot of local and historical insights about each location that we stopped at. I highly recommend this walking tour especially if you’re looking for something that’s out of the ordinary tourist activity in London.

This tour was great! Our guide was fabulous, We got the true information about historical sites, which we would have missed without this tour. The shuttered rail station, the Roman bath that really wasn't one, and how lawyers are in control of their own city, is just a few of the informative facts of the tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and Rachel was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide.
We learnt so much and saw so many parts of London that we would not otherwise have seen. It has made us want to explore some of these areas more on future visits. On our walk through the city back to Liverpool Street the day after we were more alert to the bits of history so obviously visible but so easily not seen as you walk past.
I particularly enjoyed seeing the Middle and Inner Temple Inns of Law (they appear in historical fiction books I've read so it was amazing to see where these books were set).
I would highly recommend this tour, and thank Rachel for an entertaining and informative hour and a half.

My friend and I recently joined the Hidden London Walking Tour and it exceeded our expectations. Rachel, our tour guide, was exceptional; her knowledge of the city's lesser-known history was impressive and her engaging storytelling kept us interested throughout. The tour itself was great, covering a variety of hidden gems and unique locations that showed a different side of London. A nice little addition to your itinerary if visiting London - I highly recommend.

Our guide was Matt, who was very friendly and informative. And also took the time to talk to us individually as we went along the tour. It was good to see the not-so typical London sights but would 100% recommend for anyone to see.

Thanks for lovely review Abi! As there were only six people on the tour it was really great to have a chat with you all as we went around. Nice to point out a few Harry Potter film locations to you as well! Hope you both have had a great stay in London.

Hi, what is difference between hidden London Walking tour and Secret Walking tour of Central London?
Written June 11, 2018
They simply cover different places/things of interest. Our guide suggested we did both, I didn't have time but intend to do Secret Walking Tour next time I'm in London as the 'Hidden' tour was excellent value and extremely interesting.
