What to Expect

Start the day in Spitalfields Market. Meet your guide who gives you an introduction to East London’s culturally diverse food scene.

Begin your culinary journey with a bacon sandwich from award-winning restaurant St. John Bread and Wine and indulge in the simple pleasure of the breakfast classic.

Next stop is the English Restaurant to taste a traditional bread pudding, and then visit Androuet, an artisan cheese producer where you taste an array of cheese varieties. 

Then stop at Poppie’s a traditional fish and chips shop, for an authentic taste of the quintessential British dish.

Next, continue on to Brick Lane. Your guide leads you through the busy streets t Aladin’s Indian restaurant for a selection of curries, before you stop at Beigel Bake one of London’s famed institutions, for a house-made salt beef bagel. Finally taste a salted caramel tart in the trendy neighborhood of Shoreditch where your tour ends.

Good Food! Some interesting side tracks as well

Our guide Zahra was very enthused, and led us along a good number of varying food/drinks establishments, all of which were of excellent quality and conveniently close together. Along the way we got some titbits of local history or streetart, which were a welcome addition.More

Trip Highlight!!

Arrive hungry!

Such good fun. Guides were so knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic. So much food, arrive hungry and ready for a feast. Excellent value for money too. Our group are all Londoners but as Johnson said "when a man is tired of London...................".

It lasts 4-5 hours. Covers 2 meals. I think you can have up to 10 people. We were just 5. Great day!

They do if they know far enough in advance. Not sure about vegan though.
