Mike, our professional tour guide, was exceptional! He was friendly, personable and incredibly well versed in the history and interesting facts regarding each place visited. His attention to guests and deep historical knowledge makes this a tremendous experience. And our professional driver always made me feel safe.

My grandson and I went to London on his college Spring Break. The top place he wanted to visit was Stonehenge. I looked at more affordable options but since this was a "once in a lifetime" experience, I opted for this tour. I am glad that I did!
Stonehenge was our first stop. We had
While we enjoyed each place we visited, the tour guide was what made this trip very special. His name was "Madge" (I hope that I spelled that correctly). He was knowledgeable, witty, entertaining and it was clear that there was nothing he wanted more that for us to have a good experience! He welcomed questions and patiently answered each one. His knowledge was encyclopedic.

We had Mike the Guide and Vugal the driver. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about anything British Isles, the history of the area, and the sites we visited. We learned so much! The tour had 15 people in a comfortable, air conditioned van.
We had the perfect amount of time at Stone Hedge and Windsor Castle. We wished we had more time in Bath but honestly that could be a whole day tour.
I would love to have Mike as our guide when we return to the UK.

We were unfortunately delayed 45 mins by one couple upon leaving London then drove to Stonehenge. After we arriving in Stonehenge were told the time to return to the bus. We walked around the stones headed back with not enough time to look in the souvenir shop so we headed straight back to the bus. But to our dismay another couple did not arrive on time and had to be locate another delay around 20 minutes. Then we drove almost 2 hrs from Stonehenge to Bath spent a bit more than an hour in Bath. Not enough time to see anything so we inhaled lunch and headed back to the bus. We then traveled almost 2 hrs to Windsor Castle with only 1 1/2 hrs to tour. Due to the fact that we arrived so close to the chapel closing we walked up hill to the castle down hill to the chapel then up hill to the castle wasting precious time and missing quite a bit of the castle due to time constraints. In a nutshell I believe this tour is not worth the money as we spent more time on the road than we did at the places of interest I would not recommend this tour to anyone. We spent more money on this small group tour instead of a large group because we believed that we would get an excellent tour. We didn’t and were very disappointed. Again we don’t recommend!

The experience was good but felt rushed. We saw a lot but was in the car a lot as well. The guide was nice but I didn’t feel that I had the guide around to share pearls and little nuggets while we were in bath or even Windsor castle. In Windsor castle we had the audio set. But I wanted more than that when I booked the trip.

My son and I did the small group day tour to Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor. Valentina was THE BEST tour guide! She really knows her facts and history, and kept everyone super engaged throughout the tour. This tour was a great way to see all 3 places in a short amount of time. We specifically went with the small group option because we don't like large crowds and giant buses. I highly recommend this tour AND Valentina.

The good: I appreciated the small group format. Also doing Stonehenge first and Windsor last like this is perfect. I saw many tours do it the other way but that's worse for crowds.
The bad: Bath and Windsor stops were very rushed. There is absolutely not enough time to satisfactorily do the signature thing in Bath, the Roman Baths. The audio tour of the Baths alone is 90 mins and that's the entire allotted time for the whole visit. So to be able to eat and visit the shops etc, you have to just rush through the Baths tour. In Windsor Castle audio tour is 120 mins. We barely made it through just the castle (while skipping some of the in-depth parts of the audio) before having to head back to the van. We went on Sunday so the Chapel was closed, which gave us more time for the castle. Otherwise you'd be very rushed to get both done.
I get that the whole trip is 11 hours and adding more time would make it a long and exhausting day. That said, I would book a tour that has just 2 of these and make sure they give you at least 2 hours in Bath.

I've done bigger tours before, it was so nice to be in a smaller group! The tour guide, David was excellent. The only regret is we wish we had about 45 extra minutes in Bath so we could eat lunch AND go through the Roman Baths. I know it is a long day, but 45 mins longer shouldn't break the bank!

The smaller group tour was a much better experience than other tours I have taken. Tony our driver and Mike our guide had great information about traveling in England and points of interest. Mike knew where to get best photos at Stonehenge, places to see with limited time at Bath, and top items of interest at Windsor Castle. He and Tony sure we got the most from the day trip—fantastic tour! Suggestions for other activities for this week were a bonus.

Mike was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the tour destinations but also general British history, and had a great knowledge of other locations (e.g. west coast of Ireland, Wales, etc.) and made a fantastic dinner recommendation in Notting Hill that we wouldn’t have found on our own. Our driver was great too, he took us on several different routes that were much more scenic (instead of the motorways).

Hi, I am interested but according to other sites Windsor castle will be closed on June 16th, does that change the timing from the tour? I was expecting to make it to the airport when we head back so can I bring the carryon with me?

I am assuming you do not get to Windsor in time to see the changing of the guard since it is the last stop?

Windsor is the last stop of the day. We did see a change of two guards but if you ask Katie, she will fill you in about what you can and can’t see in the time that you have.

Coach is comfortable & roomy. The more the merrier, I say! People from all over the world visiting exciting places, go! The number of people that sign up varies day to day.
At Stonehenge, does this include the inner circle tour of the monoliths ? ie walk among the massive stone structures ? Thanks
