This bike tour was awesome! The gentleman leading the tour made everyone feel safe, especially an evening tour in the dark, and was a great storyteller of London’s history! 20/10 recommend!

Fat Tire Tours - Perfect Introduction to London
We had a perfect bike tour with Lincoln. It was such a great intro to the city, for us as first time visitors. He shared so much history and told us stories as we stopped along the way. This was booked as a group tour but we were the only 2 that showed up so it was private and we really enjoyed talking to Lincoln and getting to know him. He was a GREAT tour guide. We highly recommend this tour, which was an easy 2 hour bike ride to visit the sites in London. We took this same tour company in Barcelona years ago and loved it then too!!

      Great tour
Great combination of history, beer tasting and scenic walking tour of the area. Highly recommend for those looking to find some lesser known pubs and expand their knowledge of the history of beer in England.

Great tour, very happy with the attentive and well researched guide we were supplied. A thoroughly relaxed ride and would highly recommend to anyone doubting ( I’m 61 with a recent knee replacement and found it very easy )

Wonderful private bike tour with Isaac
What a wonderful tour! We did a private bike tour of the London Essentials with Isaac. We met early, and rode leisurely around seeing the eye, Big Ben and Parliament, Changing of the Guard, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and much more. Isaac was hilarious, informative, and just so engaging with us and our teenagers! The bike ride was extremely laid back and leisurely, and so enjoyable! We so loved every minute the tour, that we asked him to keep going, lol! Because of our limited time, we originally asked for 1.5 hour tour, but was having so much fun and learning so much, Isaac accommodated us and extended it to roughly 3 hours. Just wonderful! Will def use Fat Tire (and hopefully Isaac again) when we return to London!

Great way to see multiple sites in London
We have been traveling through Europe for a couple weeks doing multiples tours. This was our favorite one and Isaac has been our favorite guide. It was pouring rain and all the others in our group cancelled out of the tour. He happily took us despite the weather. He was very knowledgeable and explained history in a way that was easy to understand and funny! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would suggest you request Isaac.

Excellent Bicycle Tour along the Thames!
This was my 12th bicycle tour in a different country, as I believe the best way to see a new place is atop a bicycle. Fat Tire delivered for London (England) with an excellent tour along the Thames River, with Andrew, our guide, full of knowledge, and leading at a leisurely pace. Sights at seemingly every turn, as well as a break for lunch (I went with the local delicacy: Tacos) the tour was never too easy, too fast, or too much. Rather, it was perfect!

Great walking tour of top London sites, well organized.
This tour visits 3 of the top sites in London, with enough time allocated to each. Westminster Abbey inside tour was amazing (architecture and history). Changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace was perfectly timed and our tour guide had good insight for the best place to stand (crowded), plus a bonus of guards on horses in ceremony nearby. Then a cruise on the Thames was a key in getting us to the more distant Tower of London for dramatic history and the Crown Jewels. Often these tours bypass the lines (queues). Tour Operator is "Walks - UK". The tour guide was great, timing excellent. This is a lot of walking, so be prepared. Also, the last stop at the tower requires you to find an Uber or Cab to get back to hotel (Ubers are easy). I highly recommend this trip.

Opposite Experience than Munich Bike Tour
We had a Fat Tire tour in Munich that was spectacular! This was on the other end of that which is weird because it's the same company. We met at the tube station and then had to walk about 10 minutes to get to the bikes. These bikes have seen better days. The bikes were uncomfortable. A one size fits all type of bike. The bikes weren't adjusted for each person which would have made it a little more comfortable. Trying to ride these bikes with all the people, vehicles, other cyclists, and road conditions made this a rough ride. Our guide was good with history but when asking questions not about history he seemed uninterested. I am surprised to see two totally different Fat Tire tours.

Perfect way to see a lot of the City
We had a lovely ride with Daniel. There were only 6 of us total- and the other 4 left early due to jet lag so my husband and I got a private tour! I would echo what the website says- you need to be comfortable on a bike riding in traffic. It is flat, but it is a city. There are great bike paths but you need to be able to cross multiple busy roads with guides. I would recommend it for adults ages 18+ who are decent bicyclists who want a good overview of 2000 years of London history. There is a nice pub stop halfway through where we got to take a break and ask questions.

Fantastic Giverney Tour, Monet Water Gardens
Giverney Bike Tour. Our guides did a great job. Clean, smooth bus ride to Giverny. Decent bikes for 4k ride and back on a magical, scenic route. Wonderful Saturday market in Vernon for our picnic lunch. But the best was how quickly we entered the Gardens of Monet, bypassing all other tour groups. These folks are pros and good with all levels of fitness. If you stop in Paris before or after, make sure you get into the Orangerie Museum to see Monet's Water Lilly canvases. But make sure you get these Orangerie tickets in advance!

Our tour leader, Lincoln is knowledgeable about London's history. He was entertaining, reading the group, which included adults and kids. He put safety first and his easy-going nature was a delight. We were fortunate to also have David (a London firefighter) along, as he is in training to be a Fat Tire tour leader. He is also knowledgeable about the area and its history. We highly recommend this tour for adults as well as kids. We all loved it! 10/10 !!

We were visiting London with a small group of students aged between 12 and 16 and it was a unanimous vote that this was their favourite activity of the entire trip. Our tour guide Daniel was brilliant, he was really friendly and kept the kids engaged with fun facts and stories that we all enjoyed. The tour was informative and it was lovely cycling through the parks. Even though the parks were busy, Daniel found us the best routes and made sure everyone was having a good time. We would definitely recommend Fat Tire Tours to anyone visiting the city!

I booked for my niece and I to do the London Parks Bike Tour, because of the lack of tourists, we ended up on a private tour for the 2 of us with our wonderful guide, Matt.

We both loved the tour, admittedly we had wonderful weather, but Matt was really interesting and knew lots of history, but was also happy to chat and get our opinions, obviously we went at our pace and it just a really lovely educational, interesting and fun day out.

There was plenty of hand sanitiser and social distancing.

We would highly recommend Fat Tires Bike Tours.

Ray was our guide for this adventure today, 9/20/22. He did an excellent job keeping the group safe and together. It was a bit challenging today for the guides since the parks were still packed with crowds and normal routes were closed off and there were barricades everywhere. We had to walk our bikes for some parts of the tour but we still managed to see all the sights promised in the itinerary. Ray was full of wonderful information and added some humorous anecdotes as well. Very personable and fun guide! I would highly recommend this tour for all ages. The bikes are 3 speed and very easy and comfortable to ride. You get a very good tour for a very reasonable price.

We had such a great time doing this bike ride. The parks were stunning and busy with people enjoying a summer evening. The cycle was easy- even for my 10 year old, and we were enhanced by the scenery around us. I would highly recommend seeing London this way- I lived there for 6 years and it showed me London as I'd never seen it before. Our guide was great and full of information- he really looked after us and made it a special trip.

We had a great time with Fran on the bike tour. My kids ages 7 and 9 both enjoyed the tour also! Her stories were entertaining and gave us new angles to traditional history. The distance (9.4 miles) was a bit long for our 7 year old but she powered through!

What a fantastic tour this was. Lincoln, our tour guide was brilliant. He had so much information or us, and the way he told the stories was so entertaining. He made me want to listen to him.
The tour itself was great. Very well organised and paced. It's never too long on the bike before you stop for more stories. The lunch stop is nice, beside the lake. The bikes were great, I was worried the y would be old and tired, but they weren't.

    Thanks Fat Tire, great day

We are a family of 4. Whenever we travel we always try to do a bike tour to explore the city.

Abby was our amazing guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and you could tell she enjoyed her job.

First hand look at many attractions. Beautiful day. Easy bikes. Fun for the whole family.

What a great experience… Even though it drizzled slightly in part ( which made it a bit more fun to be fair ), it was a fantastic few hours. Our guide was also really knowledgeable of London, and engaging.

It was also my boys 10th birthday and they ended up giving him a present at the end of the tour !

We would highly recommend this tour for a great family day out. Great service and really enjoyable cycling through this magnificent city.
