My wife and I really enjoyed this biking tour. Our guide Nick was excellent. We learned a lot about various parks and main sites along the tour, with stories that we'd never heard before and were not in our guide book. The biking group was about 12 individuals in size and the guide (Nick) was very personable. You will bike on paths and sometimes shortly along roads, so you need to be mindful of what the English call the "correct side of the road" (which would be the left side). The actual effort required to bike was minimal. Some park areas and city squares do require you to walk the bike. Some of our route required detours due to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee event still being cleaned up (we were there the week after the celebration and areas around Buckingham palace were still fenced off).
Overall, the value to money spent was very good in my opinion.
My only word of advice is to follow instructions on the meeting spot. You'll meet at a busy corner along Bayswater right at the Underground entrance\exit. The actual Fat Tire Tour location is a short distance away but space is limited there. That said - they are easily reachable via WhatsApp or local phone.

We were visiting London with a small group of students aged between 12 and 16 and it was a unanimous vote that this was their favourite activity of the entire trip. Our tour guide Daniel was brilliant, he was really friendly and kept the kids engaged with fun facts and stories that we all enjoyed. The tour was informative and it was lovely cycling through the parks. Even though the parks were busy, Daniel found us the best routes and made sure everyone was having a good time. We would definitely recommend Fat Tire Tours to anyone visiting the city!

I booked for my niece and I to do the London Parks Bike Tour, because of the lack of tourists, we ended up on a private tour for the 2 of us with our wonderful guide, Matt.
We both loved the tour, admittedly we had wonderful weather, but Matt was really interesting and knew lots of history, but was also happy to chat and get our opinions, obviously we went at our pace and it just a really lovely educational, interesting and fun day out.
There was plenty of hand sanitiser and social distancing.
We would highly recommend Fat Tires Bike Tours.

My husband and I enjoyed the bike tour. Learned a lot about London, heard some fun & interesting stories, and were able to see so much of London during the tour. My third, his second time using Fat Tire, and will continue to use them in any new city we visit. Highly recommend!

Wow this was an excellent experience that I'd highly recommend. Our tour guide Ashley was knowledgeable and shared interesting stories about the history and landmarks throughout our tour. It was a very organized day -- we saw so many great notable sights on this tour and were able to check off many items on our bucket list. The bikes were comfortable and it was a fantastic way to spend 4 hours to see the city. I would even do it again!

We had such a great time doing this bike ride. The parks were stunning and busy with people enjoying a summer evening. The cycle was easy- even for my 10 year old, and we were enhanced by the scenery around us. I would highly recommend seeing London this way- I lived there for 6 years and it showed me London as I'd never seen it before. Our guide was great and full of information- he really looked after us and made it a special trip.

What a great experience… Even though it drizzled slightly in part ( which made it a bit more fun to be fair ), it was a fantastic few hours. Our guide was also really knowledgeable of London, and engaging.
It was also my boys 10th birthday and they ended up giving him a present at the end of the tour !
We would highly recommend this tour for a great family day out. Great service and really enjoyable cycling through this magnificent city.

Fat tire tours did not disappoint! My family was skeptical when I booked this but they all loved it. The bike ride is not difficult and has many stops for pictures and history. Our guide, Abby, was terrific! We really lucked out with the weather. This is a fun and active way to hit all of the major tourist stops in 3 hours. While my family has older children, Fat Tire has a child seat option for those with toddlers. Abby made sure that no one was left behind. We enjoyed a 30 minute lunch break at Trafalgar Square. My favorite bit was biking through Hyde and Kensington parks. I will definitely look for Fat Tire on my next vacation!

We had a great time with Fran on the bike tour. My kids ages 7 and 9 both enjoyed the tour also! Her stories were entertaining and gave us new angles to traditional history. The distance (9.4 miles) was a bit long for our 7 year old but she powered through!

Is this tour safe for children (11 years old) as I’m a bit apprehensive of my daughter riding around London. She is a very competent rider but the traffic worries me.

This tour is over 90% in the parks, the small bits outside of the parks is usually walking the bikes on the pavements …. I would say very safe for children

We started at 10.30 - you meet at Queensway tube station exit at the same time, their depot is just around the corner and it took about 10 minutes maximum before we were going once briefed about what we was doing and getting the bikes set up. We went last Friday and it was well worth going on - we were on our own and it was like a private tour. The roads and parks are really quiet.

Do you get to go inside Kensington palace and the other places listed? Or are you just passing by?
I’m trying to choose the afternoon option on April 11th but it keeps giving me an error message. Does that mean it’s sold out?

We have an afternoon tea at The Rubens at the Palace hotel. Is there a way to end our bike ride earlier (around 2:30pm)?

This is a group tour. You would need to ask tour manager. You start and end at same place so dont you could just end when you want unless you are able to return bikes on own. That may not be allowed.

Kmstennis is right. You need to contact the business to check availability. I went on an afternoon tour and had a great experience. Hopefully it works out for you. Enjoy your trip!
