We have taken tours in many cities and our afternoon with Lee ranks up there at the top of the best we've found. He was so excited about the artists and so natural in his descriptions it left us wondering if he was secretly an insider out for the day to mingle with the fans. We were in the afternoon tour and he mentioned some things that "are on the morning tour" so we will be back to get the rest of the stories. It was great.

Lee was our guide on the rock tour. He was great providing us with lots of information on various artists from Led Zepplin to the Beatles. He took us around a number of houses owned by the artists and readily answered any questions you posed. It’s obvious that he has a wealth of knowledge of the subjects gleaned not just from books. A great experience thoroughly recommended. Thanks Lee

Such fun! We know London well, having lived and worked here for decades but, goodness, it was so interesting to be taken by Adam (our excellent guide) around familiar streets and discover unfamiliar and fascinating nuggets of information about the places. Who knew that the building I passed by so often was the scene of Jimi Hendrix's breakthrough performance, or that the Rolling Stones recorded their first record in an unassuming building on a quiet street in tucked away Covent Garden. Well, it was very interesting to soak up all these anecdotes. I'll never walk around those streets without remembering the tour. Terrific

Our tour guide Paul was full of information and knowledge on everything music and musician. This trip was about 3 1/2 hours long but seemed to zip by as we were constantly inundated with fun facts and historical information. In addition to driving by homes of the famous like Freddie Mercury, Paul McCartney and Jimmy Page, we also got the opportunity to walk across the infamous Abbey Road and grab a drink at Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers. If you like music and the history of music, I highly recommend. Thanks, Paul. You rock!

This was by far our favorite tour we took while we were in London. We got lucky and had a private tour with Lee who was so knowledgeable and his stories were fascinating! He made a point to customize the tour just for us and our interests. He was even able to keep our teens engaged! Not to mention how much he was. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in London, I promise you will have the best time!

We had such an amazing time on this tour. Jim, our guide, was warm, welcoming, fun and full of a ton of interesting facts about London and it's music past. There were so many highlights I don't know where to start - but one thing I can say is - if you are in London - don't feel hesitant about doing this tour in these covid times as it's completely safe and things are not as crowded as they usually are which was brilliant. Highly recommended for a great afternoon out seeing some of the places where some amazing things in popular culture happened.

Colin, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable of the history of rock in London. He shared many stories and we saw the locations and buildings that made rock history in the 60’s. The highlight was crossing Abbey Road! Very worthwhile tour, highly recommend!

the Rock tour with Jim was the highlight of my trip to London. He's very knowleadgeble, very nice, he has a great sense of humour. I loved the way we listen to the songs then we saw the places connected to them: Abbey Road, Queen studios, David Bowie House, Vivianne Weswood boutique, Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers. Everyhting was interesting and people were lovely, too

Da der Eintrittspreis für die Abbey Road Studios nicht enthalten ist würde ich gerne wissen wie dieser ist. Danke

Do both tour options stop at Abbey Road? The morning tour mentions it, but the afternoon tour mentions the Beatles. I'm a big Beatles fan and want to see as many Beatles sites as possible, including Abbey Road!

Good question I only did the afternoon portion and we definitely did abbey road. I think it’s THE highlight of the tour so most likely they do it twice?

I see this tour is not wheelchair accessible, we have a family member that uses a rollator (walker/wheelchair). He will walk most of the time but may need assistance at certain times. Is this a possibility for this tour?

I don’t think if it’s a walker, then probably ok. If a wheelchair, then probably not. The van does not have a lifting device for wheelchairs, so the afflicted person would need to climb up the van stairs.
Unfortunately, we are short o time for sightseeing. Being a huge fan of Freddie, Beatles and so many other musicians, we'd love to get in on one of the tours. Would you recommend morning or afternoon? Thanks

We went to Abbey Road on the morning tour and they also do on afternoon tour. Nothing about Freddie in morning. You might consider consider contacting the company directly about what the afternoon tour has as we did not stay for it.

Interested in afternoon tour. Is it 1:00 or 2:00?
Are you on the bus the whole time, except for Abbey Road?
Any bathroom stops?
Thank you,

We loved the tour but didn't get to see Sticky Fingers cafe! would have liked to have seen that. We did the whole day and there were a few stops. One in Camden I believe but make sure you have some change to use the restroom. If you do the whole day you get to go to Abbey Road Studio's twice.

What time does afternoon abbey road tour begin? All times listed are for 2018. Same for 3019?

Our whole tour started at 1 pm & lasted to about 6 pm. We went to many places, Abbey Road was the last site on the tour.

Does the tour visit the Battersea Power Station? If so is it in the morning or afternoon? Thanks

Hi Tanya,
We did! We were on the afternoon tour and we went past on the other side of the river. We were driving (hard to stop) but did get a pretty good view.

How long is the afternoon tour? The website says 8 hours, but I think that's the duration for both the morning and afternoon tours combined, as opposed to just the afternoon one. Any help is greatly appreciated!
