Rushed! Too much for one Day!
The sites we visited were all very nice, however we felt very rushed the whole day and spent almost as much time, if not more, on the bus as we did at the sites. I think doing all three in one day is too much. The tour should only include Windsor and Stonehenge. Windsor Castle is huge and the town itself would have been fun to explore but there just wasn't enough time. Stonehenge we had to rush around because they were short on shuttles that day and we needed to get to Bath in time for our visit to the Roman Baths. Bath is also a large town I would have loved to explore (our tour guide kept telling us how it is a great place to "eat, drink, and be merry" but we didn't have time to enjoy that side of it. If I could do it again, I would use a day for Windsor and Stonehenge together and spend more time at each (especially Windsor) and do a separate trip (possibly by train, and possibly overnight) to Bath. I think you could easily spend 2-3 days in Bath.

The early departure gave ample time to visit Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. Many thanks to Robert and John, who were professional and took good care of the group. It was unfortunate that the weather was chillier and more windy than expected, so the walk around Stonehenge in the morning was a bit of a challenge against the cold. We have opted to include the entry to Windsor Castle when booking the tour, and there was hardly any queuing needed upon arrival to the grand castle. I reckon the early start at 05:30 am also allowed for better time management. Overall, it was a pleasant tour.

My 9yo daughter and I took the morning tour with tour guide Simon, driver Gary, Stonehenge inner circle guide Wendy and had a great time. An inner circle experience really is the best way to see Stonehenge and really appreciate it. We were there before it opened to the public - it was very peaceful viewing the stones up close with no crowds. Everything was well organized and we didn’t feel rushed. As we were leaving by 10:15am, the lines for entry were already so long and we can only imagine how much time others were going to spend waiting, only to view the stones at a distance. The inner circle tour is really the way to go. A lot of my friends/coworkers warned me that Stonehenge was a bit anticlimactic for them. I think going on an inner circle tour made all the difference for us - it was very cool.

Simon was quite entertaining with his dry humor and quite useful commentary while we walked in the rain at Windsor. My daughter now has some fun things to share with her friends back home. She did not enjoy Windsor Castle very much - we could have skipped that and just spent more time in the town.

Since we started the day so early, we still had the rest of the day ahead of us for more adventures when back in London. Highly recommend the morning tour.

Inner circle access literally means that you get the privilege of getting inside this incredible archaeological monument, which does not allow entry by other tourists, in a small group of people before a big crowd arrives at the site.

I was very lucky to have Robert as my tour guide and Maria as coach driver. Particularly, Robert was a very intelligent, humorous English man with an in-depth knowledge about all the places we visited on the day. He gave us all fun facts and introduced rich stories about historical buildings and places even when we were on a running coach. Besides that, he managed the group so well without a single person left unattended throughout the tour. On top of that, you can spend a full hour uninterrupted by other tourists, taking spectacular photos and listening to stories about different components of stonehenge.

Windsor castle, which we visited right after, was another great charm. Those who had entry tickets could spend three hours, visiting queen Mary's doll house and a myriad of chambers in the state apartment. Others can spend their time around the castle, walking around beautiful old streets of Windsor.

Undoubtedly, this tour will give you a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city. If you are in London, I highly suggest that you take a day off and indulge in this wondrous getaway to two of the marvelous English heritage with Robert and Maria!!

My half day tour guide; Simon, aka Simon Says, aka Simple Simon, gave the best historical, informative, and comedic discourse of Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. He also allowed ample time to wander each site on our own. I never felt hurried or overwhelmed during the tour. Kemi was our amazing coach driver whose safe and dependable skills made our ride very comfortable. Highly recommend this experience.

Had a wonderful trip! The inner circle access to Stonehenge is definitely worth the premium and was the highlight of the experience. You are allowed in before the site is open to the public (so no big crowds) and you get to see the stones up close. Our tour guide, Oliver, is laid back and knowledgable and made the experience very pleasant. Thank you!!!

The hotel we were instructed to meet at at 5:15 AM was locked when we arrived and it didn't seem the hotel staff knew that this was an Evan Evans tour meeting place. Thankfully, we were able to talk the hotel staff into letting us in so we didn't need to wait out in the cold.

The tour bus arrived promptly and our guide Simon and driver Mark were entertaining and professional throughout. My father can't walk long distances, and Mark was especially helpful in loading/unloading his travel wheelchair throughout the tour.

The tour stopped for a comfort break halfway to Stonehenge. Do be advised that you cannot take hot food or hot drinks on the tour bus. Stonehenge itself was very wheelchair accessible, and it was definitely worth the price to get access to the inner circle. We had plenty of time to take pictures (Simon did a great job taking all the photos) and to explore the site.

If you using a travel wheelchair please be advised that Windsor has a lot of cobble stones and it can be challenge to move the wheelchair around through that portion of the tour.

THIS is the tour you will want to book for Stonehenge and Windsor. We looked at several other tour options and we are so glad we selected this tour. Our master-guide, Simon, had us on our way by 5:30 am guaranteeing an early morning private visit to the inner circle of Stonehenge. Simon was knowledgeable and helpful offering great advice along the way. He patiently took all photos requested! Once in Windsor Simon navigated the crowded streets getting us to Windsor Castle with plenty of time to tour and eat (this tour will bypass the long line of visitors waiting to get in). All in all a fabulous day with an end-point conveniently located near Victoria Station. Well done Evan Evans Tours and a huge thank you to Simon for his attentive guidance. I would highly recommend THIS TOUR.

The tour was excellent, and I definitely recommend it! We went on New Year’s Day and it was hard getting up to catch the tour at 5:30 AM; the reason why the morning tour is so early is so you can go during sunrise (before 8 AM) before the public comes. It is definitely a completely extraordinary and unique experience to actually go inside the stones, it is just so magical and beautiful!

The tour guide Simon was wonderful and his commentary was very entertaining and informative. Wendy who was the guide at Stonehenge was also very knowledgeable and helpful. There is rest time after the Stonehenge tour in the morning and afterwards you reach Windsor castle around 11 to 12, where you get to stay for a few hours to explore the castle and the neighboring shops. Be sure to bring warm clothes if visiting in winter as it might be cold and windy, but the beautiful views and pictures will make it completely worthwhile!

This is 1000% worth it! Getting to enter the inner circle of Stonehenge is a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide, Robert, was delightful, coordinated, a good photographer and most of all knowledgeable! Robert shared great insight and stories as Patrick safely drove us across the countryside! Plenty of time visiting just the 2 places, we didn’t feel rushed and got to enjoy the castle tour and surrounding areas. Highly recommend this combo trip! We went in March, and I recommend layers, it was a cold morning (0C, slightly windy and a light snow!) but it turned into a beautiful sunny day in Windsor (10C).

The driver Billy drove the bus very steadily and never felt motion sickness due to long-distance driving. The tour guide Cameron was very knowledgeable and introduced many interesting historical and cultural attractions from downtown London to the streets of Windsor. He learned a lot of rich knowledge. The biggest highlight is the inner circle of Stonehenge. Most people can only take pictures outside the line enclosed by the outer circle. But in this special inner circle, you can completely walk in and feel the shock of the giant stones. Cameron discussed the various backgrounds and origins of Stonehenge in great detail. , it was an unexpected surprise to be able to participate in this group and have such an excellent tour guide!
