It was a great day-tour experience.
Our guide tour Dolly is exceptional.
With a Phd in Medieval history and having been a student at Oxford, she provided us extremely insightful information with a great humour.
Our driver, Tony, drive nicely.
The weather was fantastic!
Would strongly advise anyone to do this tour.

I suppose there is only so much you can do in each of the destinations in only one day, but I felt that the tour spent too much time at the Warwick Castle, which was more 'gimmicky' than I expected. By the time we arrived in Oxford, we had maybe 30 minutes to explore, which isn't nearly enough time. The tour should've skimmed an hour off the Warwick stop, and allocated that for Oxford.

I booked the Warwick Castle, Stratford, Cotswold, and Oxford tour.

I booked this tour months previous to the date taken. I reconfirmed two days previous to the date and in hindsight I should have realized that something was wrong. The clerk couldn't find me on the Warwick list. After I gave her my confirmation number, she said, 'Oh here you are.'

On the day in question I showed up at the appointed time. I was told to get into line 14. There were hundreds of people waiting for their tour, no one knew where to go. Everyone was confused and milling around. When they called the Warwick trip I tried to get on the bus three times, but they said I wasn't on the list. NO ONE WOULD LISTEN TO ME??? I was finally directed to a bus where I was on the list. After we departed the city the guide started talking about the tour to Stonehenge. I just laughed, when I could signal the guide, I informed her of the situation. Finally someone listened, she made several calls and then came back to report that I was correct. I was on the wrong bus. The company offered that I would stay in Stratford for two tours and that I would miss Warwick. I declined and stated that I would take the train back to London and that they could credit back my credit card. All of a sudden they were able to get me on to my original tour. They stopped the other bus and we went to it.

Warwick castle - Very commercial, a real shame to see this beautiful castle tarted up like a cheap carnival.

Stratford-upon-Avon - Absolutely gorgeous village with the birth place of Shakespeare.

Cotswolds - You drive through with no stops. Very scenic.

Oxford - Really beautiful buildings and cathedral. No tour inside the buildings.

Transportation - Standard 60 passenger bus, no bathroom, I'm tall and was almost crippled by the end.

The guide - Very knowledgeable.

The screw up - No apology from anyone including the guide that wouldn't listen to me.

Overall tour - I think it was very rushed, and the group is too big. I was on a small group tour a few days before, much better (English Bus). In hindsight I would have preferred to take the train to Oxford and then take a guided tour. Same with Stratford-upon-Avon.

I would not use this company again.

It was really nice to get out of London and see a different part of the UK. This tour is a great alternative to Bath & Stonehenge. Stratford was great fun and I really enjoyed that we seemed to get every where just before it got busy. Anne Marie was a wonderful guide and knew a lot about a lot! Hadar was our driver and he skilfully got us around some tiny streets in these towns. Well done to both of you and thank you for a lovely day.

Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwick Castle & Oxford day trip was a full day with opportunity to explore each destination. Visiting Shakespeare's birth place and school room was a highlight. Warwick Castle is stunning and gives a real sense of the history of the time. Oxford was a bit rushed but amazing all the same. Thanks to our knowledgeable guide Anne-Marie and very experienced coach driver John - the Dream Team! We even got to experience a hidden gem on our way back to London thanks to John and his extensive local history.

Our tour guide, Steve, was excellent and very, very funny. Shakespeare in Klingon - highly unexpected! He was a great, friendly guide who made sure we were well entertained while we drove the long distances out. The drive, meanwhile, is gorgeous and as we went in May, fields of yellow were everywhere! I've never seen anything like it. We were given ample time at each stop with good guidance along the way before getting our own time to spend which meant we could do things at our own pace.

In terms of the stops - Stratford Upon Avon was a wonderful experience and any Shakespeare devotee ought to make the trip out to get a glimpse into the Bard's formative years. We were able to go into the schoolroom where he was educated (and we were treated to what the experience would be like, schoolmaster and all, hilarious!) and learn for about the community and values in which he was raised. Just outside his birthplace, we were treated to some excellent outdoor theatre being performed for some of the school groups. It does get very crowded in the house so be aware.
Warwick Castle was also worth it. It was so interesting learning about the family and the history behind this huge fortress and the surrounding countryside, particularly on a beautifully sunny day, made the climbs further up the towers well worth my shattered nerves!
Oxford was a slight let down, only because we were limited in terms of access, though Steve did try to move us around as much as possible. Though walking about the campus and the town was quite nice.
Overall, a great day out that I would definitely recommend.

Both my husband and I really enjoy our day trip to Warwick Castle, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford. Our tour guide Catia was extremely knowledgeable in all the facts and history of the places we visited. She was also very concerned for the guests as where and what time we should meet up after our free time. We also want to thank our bus driver James for our safe journey and timely return.

You must go with Philip and Kevin on this tour. Touring with Philip was like taking a complete college course in under one day. They should really charge tuition.
