- petercW9342EE0 contributionsPhenomenal trip experience - just book this tour!It was a fabulous tour from beginning to end. Our tour guide Nicolas did a phenomenal job. He’s part historian and comedian. I learned so much about England due to his encyclopedic understanding of every relevant detail. Stonehenge was a magical place steeped in mystery and importance. I removed my shoes and socks to experience the energetic grounding of the place. It’s so hard to describe the experience, just go! The Roman town of Bath was exceptionally beautiful and jam packed with reasons to return for a week. Notably, the first king of England, Edger, was crowned in bath in 973. It’s also home to Peter Gabriel and Jonny Depp and previously home to Jane Austin. Visiting Stratford was short but very memorable. It was moving to see where shakespeare went to school, where he was born and where he enjoyed a pint at his local pub! If you are taking this trip, try to book with Nicolas! I’ve been in many tours and he‘s really special!Written December 5, 2024
- ccmpp90 contributionsStonehenge and Bath- magical and charming! This was our 2nd trip to London and we wanted to explore outside of the city. Stonehenge was very mysterious and is worth seeing. Bath had the Christmas shops up and it added so much charm to the town. We had good food, drink, and the Roman Baths were interesting. Our guide, Steve, and driver, Christian, were great. Very knowledgeable about all the small and great facts of England!!Written December 4, 2024

Only drawback of the tour is the short time allocated in each attraction (esp Bath). Would have enjoyed the tour if given more time to explore the attractions.Written December 4, 2024

Windsor Castle was my favorite We were one of the first groups there. However, it was very rushed and we were forced to leave at changing of the guard. There was not enough time to adequately see all three events I would recommend choosing 2 of the 4 events (skip the pub lunch) The pub lunch staff was not very accommodating and the food was just okay. Bath was beautiful but all the attractions were an extra fee. The timing of our arrival and Bath tours were not aligned and required more time than tour allotted.
One more important thing There was no water included on the 12 hour tour. Bring your own water and snacks You can buy snacks at each of the stops but they are pricey. Bring rain gear because the tour doesn't stop just because of rain

This company should be shut down. We started out the tour just fine and arrived to Windsor Castle from London. When it was apparent my father was not able to keep up with the pace of the tour up the steep streets (in masses of other tour groups with no organization) I immediately spoke to the guide who reassured me it was fine and he would direct us where to go and sit and where to meet up to the group at the castle. The entire tour group watched and listened to me speak to him. He promised to keep an eye out as we toured and did for the first bit. The guide was wearing an orange shirt and at some point put a jacket over it. The post with the flag he was supposed to hold above his head was not used. They departed Windsor Castle without myself and my 80yr old parents in parking lot 2 hours from our hotel. They never responded or returned our belongings from the bus. We are now going to court over this as the company will not take responsibility and do the right thing and refund us as well as send our belongings back. We followed the tour guides instructions and would have even waited back on the bus had he suggested it. Had we know they would just leave people in a foreign country to “figure it out” I would have never paid the $500 for these tickets. My father was celebrating his 80th birthday and now he is unsure if he wants to travel anymore because of this. Very disappointed and extremely insulted by the poor customer service or lack of concern. They just want your money, book elsewhere if you don’t want your holiday ruined.

Because the advertising was deceptive! I purchased a Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Bath, and Pub Lunch package for my party of nine. I took the time to read ALL instructions carefully., checking and double checking.
ONLY to be told we had NO tickets to the Stonehenge site and would have to make an additional purchase upon arrival. Much much WORSE is the fact that the bus operator/tour guide told us, “This happens often. You’re not the only ones,”
Sure enough when we joins that line out at Stonehenge , several people off my bus joined the line to purchase tickets. How can this be?!!
The language on your site is very unclear, That is not fair to your clients. I expect to be refunded the extra cost for tickets we had to purchase (over and above the cost of the package per person).
The tour guide and bus driver for Premium Tours, the bus company you use, were professional, knowledgeable and capable. They made the trip worth it ,despite England’s pesky rainy weather the day of our outing. Each site was a worthwhile stop; the pub lunch was quite enjoyable—-pleasant and accommodating wait staff attended to weary travelers who badly needed a respite and were made to feel our business was appreciated.

The only reason I am giving it 3 circles instead of more is due to the short day light hours and that we did not get to enter the grounds of Windsor. This tour is best taken in the months of April to October when the day light hours are longer and the weather is nicer. Unfortunately I was only able to take this tour in December.
The tour is approximately 12+ hours and the mediocre pub lunch unnecessarily whittled away the daylight (in Dec.). We saw Windsor Castle from its gate and Stonehenge was...cold & windy. The town of Windsor was nice and I would have loved to have seen Bath in the daylight. We arrived in Bath in the dark and did not get a chance to see the architectural beauty of the city, the main reason for going to Bath. One of the better part of the tour experience was our guide Frank and his driver Tony who made it an educational tour. The long bus ride was comfortable which allowed me time to nap and further adjust to the time zone. Good tour to attend on a planned slow/rest day or early on in your trip.

Overall this was an excellent tour where we felt we got our full moneys worth. Each site gives you a taste of history and an experience.
Leon was a 10/10 tour guide. He has so much knowledge and passion about the topics and kept things fun and interesting. He also gave tips and tricks to being more efficient in each destinations which overall gave us more time to do things. I would highly recommend you take tours with Leon.
We had enough time Windsor and Bath to explore and not feel really rushed. And also Enough time to learn about the history of each place. The Stonehenge was very busy as there is a shuttle which takes people from parking to the actual stones, and can take 20 mins away from site seeing. While there wasn’t much time for photos it was great to see the boulders up close. The lunch at ladock was great, it is a nice small area.
It should be noted that this ticket doesn’t include tickets to the Roman bath house however if you ask to see the baths they may on occasion let you know to see if.

Steve, our tour guide did not go with us on the Windsor tour and many people were considerably late returning to the bus. If Steve had gone with us I am certain he could have ensured that everyone returned on a timely basis. Consequently we had 5 minutes at Stonehenge, literally 5 minutes. The queue for the bus to and from the parking took 45 minutes. Then when at Bath, he finally behaved like a tour guide and took us around for a speed tour of Bath thst lasted all of 30 minutes. We didn't have even the time to poke our heads in the Abbey. And then we had dinner at 5pm with plenty of time for that which seemed to be his priority. Why not have the meal at one of the sites. Of course Lacock was very nice, but wasn't intended to be a feature of the tour. In addition the toilet on the bus was non functional!! You should tell people they should bring food. I would recommend every rent a car and take themselves instead of going with this firm

Steve and Carlos were great. Steve provided a lot of information and told jokes to help with the time between stops. Like others have said, this is a jam packed day and you won’t have too much time at each area. Windsor is huge and could do with more time while Stonehenge is beautiful but does not need as much time to explore. Bath was a beautiful city and deserves a weekend visit rather than the small amount this tour has but it does a great job at hitting the highlights. I would recommend eating a breakfast or packing a snack because our lunch ended up being at 5pm.

We did tour 79 Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath. Was a long day but certainly didn’t drag. We met at Victoria Coach Station and as per the tickets, we boarded around 7:30 for 7:45am departure. We were given a run down of the day and were given strict instructions on timelines, our group were great and were always on time which led for a smooth day.
Our tour was a Tuesday so Windsor Castle was closed for visitors, our guide gave us a short walking tour and then we had some free time to explore the village and were then lucky to see the changing of the guard. We then went to Stonehenge, our ticket included a shuttle to the site, we had time to take plenty of photos and walk the entire perimeter. Next stop was Lacock for lunch (included in our ticket), we pre-ordered lunch and a drink which was very efficient on arrival, we did a small walking tour then headed to Bath. We were given some guidance on things to do and then free time before heading back to London.
Our guide Eugene certainly made for an enjoyable day and the banter with Chris the driver was fun to watch.
Yes it’s a long day but if you want to see Stonehenge and experience a taste of village life, you’ll enjoy it.

For me, this tour was a wonderful experience. Pepe the tour guide and Eduardo the driver worked together so well to make this a great day, despite weather issues and road problems. The issues I had involved a misunderstanding about what was included in the price of the tour. When I arrived on the morning of the tour, I was told that Stonehenge was not included in the price of the package. I had to pay extra on site for that experience. Also, Windsor Castle was closed on the day that we visited. We were able to enjoy the charming location, but we were not allowed to go inside the castle. This was disappointing.
When I checked the menu of the restaurant ahead of time, I was relieved to see that the pub offered a gluten free option for fish and chips. On the bus, we were only offered one of four choices for lunch, and the gluten free fish and chips were not on the choice menu.

I had a fantastic trip with tour guide Karen and driver Richard. Windsor was great and Karen showed us all around the most famous sites and then let us explore where we had brunch in a cafe on the Thames watching the swans go by. Then we went onto stonehenge and even though the traffic was bad at times driver Richard navigated around it and Karen organised it so that getting our tickets was quick and easy giving us the maximum time in stonehenge. Then we went to Bath and again the tour was informative and interesting. A really good day and would highly recommend this coach trip in the future!

We would like to see/tour the Roman Baths. I know this tour does not include admission. If we buy our ticket to tour this during our stop in bath, do we have time? Do I buy those tickets in advance or when we get there? Any suggestions/experience with this? Thank you!
Written March 25, 2024
In our tour we got 1.5 hours stop in Bath which is plenty of time for sightseeing. The bus drop you off just a few yards from the entrance to the Roman Baths but it will be a bit of a rush and a gamble as you cannot guarantee free spots for the Baths unless you book in advance which am not sure if you can do it directly online... I would expect during the peak tourist season it would be challenging...
Written March 26, 2024
I appreciate everyone who answered my previous question and I have a follow up. I have purchased a London Pass and I have been told that admission to the Windsor castle is included with that. Does that mean I would be exempt from the tour with the company specifically? As an I’ll just have to kind of wander around on my own until the time is up? And I’ve also noted in one of the other answers in my previous question that there was there wasn’t enough time
to visit the baths. I greatly wish to see the baths, even if I have to purchase it myself, so how likely is it through everyone’s experience that I’ll be able to see the baths if I in fact, purchase admission myself and not fall foul of the tour companies time allotted, I guess? As I don’t have any desire to be left behind lol.
Written March 16, 2023
Does this tour include the baths? I’m noticing there’s no purchasing option for admission to the baths?

The tour includes a trip to the town of Bath.
The entry fee for the roman bath is not included, but can be purchased seperatly

Are there options for vegetarians on the pub lunch? It sounds so neat, but I’m worried there won’t be any options I can eat?
Written June 26, 2022
There was a vegetarian option but I don’t remember what it was. You could always send the vendor an email to confirm.

The itinerary has lunch listed as the final stop but it is showing a 12 hour tour? Do you actually eat super late or was lunch at a reasonable point in the tour?
Written June 24, 2022
Yes, super late “lunch” but they do stop along the way to grab a snack. Bath was closed when we got there as well…
Written June 29, 2022
I took this tour several years ago and am looking at taking my family this time. I remember the tour bus being very short on leg room and am concerned that my 6'5" tall husband would not fit at all. What are the options for an extremely tall person?
Written June 17, 2022
There are some seats in the front also where no one is in front of you so no one would be reclining in front of you. That may be an option for your husband.
Written June 20, 2022
If the entry for all is sold out, but we still want entry to Windsor Castle, do we get our own tickets online? If so, what time for entry (if timed entry)?
Written June 8, 2022
I would be careful about expecting to get into see Windsor Castle at any time between now (March 2023) and May (2023). When I went on this tour in January of 2023, Windsor Castle was closed to the public. They are making ready for Coronation Day (05/06/23) and the castle is closed several days each week... sometimes without prior notice.
Written March 19, 2023
What time does the Stonehenge tour end? It says 12 hours and 30 minutes and we meet at 7:30 am. Does this mean 8:00 pm? Hoping to make dinner reservations!
Written May 18, 2022
yes the trip is 12.5 hrs. we reached back at 20.30, at Gloucester rd. tube station. Traffic and weather can play a part. however they keep atight sechdule. keep dinner reservation for another day, if possible. Guide do suggest some eating places where they drop people off.
