Amazing Trip and Guide!

A fantastic tour which we would do again. Lisa (The Guide) was so informative, and amazing with her non- stop commentary! She knew so much about London and told lots of little stories which were entertaining. It was so refreshing to enjoy learning about London in such a funny and caring way.

The bus ride was great as it was a nice, warm day so brilliant to be out in the open. We got to see all the key sites and our position from on top of the bus meant we could take some cool pictures. The Thames cruise was also a great addition.

I would highly recommend this trip.

A Great Overview of London!

A relaxing, information overview of the city makes this a worthy tour. The added short cruise on the Thames River made this even more appealing. My family and I sat up top and enjoyed the lovely summer afternoon, while our driver pointed out many of the great sights. My one caution is to avoid booking this or any bus tour on the day of arrival after flying twelve hours. I have to admit to my wife and I both nodding off several times.

Great original vintage bus, excellent local knowledge (& humour!)
I was glad to be on the traditional bus and the guide was a local with great knowledge and a good sense of humour. An older crowd, not really for kids this tour. There’s no getting off the bus, you just do the tour for 2 hours (then any add-ons). That’s suited us but it wouldn’t be for everyone. We did find the seats incredibly uncomfortable, not good for tall people. I would recommend this for an older crowd, more relaxing than the hop off buses.

We had Steve as our tour guide and Antony as our driver and they did an excellent job! The tour ran on time, was informative without being overwhelming, and was very well organized. The cruise on the Thames was lovely as well. A great way to see and learn about the landmarks. My group enjoyed this more than a hop on hop off because of the panoramic view from the open top of the bus and the more relaxed pace.

Excellent tour and guide

Our guide, John, made this a cherished, funny and informative ride through London. He was expert and kind and a lovely intro to London. iThis was a perfect first day excursion, to anchor us in the city, while we adjusted to jet lag. I've been to London many times and had never done a bus tour, but traveling with 8 year olds I thought it would be a good adjustment. Thank you for such a great half-day!

A Fantastic Bus Tour

The vintage bus tour was one of the best tours I've ever done. We saw so much of London, and the vintage bus was the cherry on top.

Our guide Steve was fantastic, and his jokes were hilarious! We did the morning tour, which was great as it was still very quiet everywhere, and made for good photos and no traffic.

Doing the tour on our first day in London was helpful as we could then decide which places we wanted to explore more in-depth during the rest of our time there.

I highly recommend this tour.

Tour was good, guide not so much!
Pros: Great tour to see the main sites in a short visit. Stops only at Buckingham Palace and River Thames. The short river cruise was wonderful and the Capt even better. We chose the London Eye ride, it was worth it.

Cons: Our morning tour was cancelled and rescheduled for the afternoon. The tour started late as the guide decided to book last minute passengers. The tour guide’s instructions were not very clear. Many of us got on the wrong line (there are several areas with lines) at the London Eye. She just kept walking and did not provide clear guidance. We kept asking and she was just more preoccupied with the people who were not going on the ride. We figured it out, after a few stressful moments, there were lots of people and many lines. Just make sure you go to the front of the ride, opposite of the river.

Perfect tour around London with river cruise

Wow booked this vintage bus tour for me and my teenage daughter so glad I did we loved it ! Lisa our guide was amazing and full of knowledge. So much better then the hop on hop off bus as you get taken to all the sights so no time wasting waiting for another bus . and then a fantastic river cruise.. was 4 hr tour altogether such great value!! You can get off for pictures to . Our driver jyrone did a perfect job . I would highly recommend this tour especially if you have a limited time in London… Tracey smith

Great overview of London, but could be improved

Great guide and really amazing sight of london. We did this at the beginning of our 10 day trip and it was perfect to introduce us to the city.

I would suggest the guide to talk a more international english because sometimes he was hard to understand.

Also we were often stuck in traffic which is why I'm removing 1 star.

All dressed up; no place to go
We got up at 630am on a Sunday after traveling all day the day before. We got a cab ($20), got to the "address". It was a bus terminal. No signs. Asked someone from another tour company where to go. Ran down to gate 20 making sure we were there at 730. CANCELED. Said they tried to call. Well, I don't answer #s I don't know. No message. Any other correspondence was by text...no texts. So our plans for the day...the one day in London were exploded. We searched for another tour and did a hop on hop off, but we didn't see as much as we'd expected to. Disappointingly.
