    Fun and Informative
I couldn’t be more pleased with this tour. Our guide, Stephen was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about this tour. He showed us all the places that popped up in the songs the Beatles wrote. The communication from the headquarter staff was also excellent. We came in in a cruise ship, and there were a few details that needed to be sorted out. They were on top of it and gave us a feeling that they were going to care about our experience and there would be no missed details. Skip the cruise tour and go with these folks.

    Loved it!
What a brilliant afternoon! Me and my sister travelled from Blackpool needing to get 4 trains (due to tree on the line) made it just in time and I am so glad we did! Nasher was a fantastic guide and so passionate about the music and his city. Literally stood there in silence (which is not like me!) as I listened to his stories. He was funny, entertaining and very open about his experiences. Hoping to bring my husband next time as he would love this. Thanks again for a great afternoon.

A Great Afternoon Being Hosted Around Liverpool's Musical History by The Farm's Peter Hooton
Recommended! Myself & a friend attended the Liverpool Musical Icon's Tour with the Farm's Peter Hooton and what an excellent experience it was. I have to admit to already being something of a fan of Peter's prior to attending the tour, for many reasons: His 'originator' status when it comes to the birth of terrace-fashion, his involvement in the 70's/80's/90's Liverpool fanzine & music-scene, his impeccable musical-tastes and of course, the success he had as part of the Farm ......... all this (and plenty more) is touched-on during the tour. No Liverpool music tour would be possible without some Beatles content & Peter did touch on the Fab-4, but this is absolutely NOT a Beatles-centric tour ........ it is far, far wider than that. We found ourselves winding a route around the city at a reasonable pace (finding time for a mid-tour pint), touching on general history of the city, significant architectural touch-stones & of course, primarily, the rich musical history across multiple decades & genres...... all delivered with Peter's insightfulness & sense of humour. The tour concluded with the group having time for another beverage with Peter which gave the opportunity to chat in further detail on things that maybe weren't covered on the tour, but which they had a specific interest in. Peter was a great host & spent quite a bit of time with this and autographs/photo's, etc. The consensus across all the group was a great afternoon had by all.

    Best £60 I’ve ever spent!!
I cannot recommend this tour enough. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon in the company of Peter Hooton. Peter’s knowledge of all eras of the Liverpool music scene is unparalleled and this is evident throughout the tour. A stop off for a beer during the tour and one at the end of the tour was the icing on the cake. Some fabulous chat about football and music throughout the day from one of music’s most genial figures.

    An enjoyable afternoon
A fantastic afternoon in the excellent company of Peter Hooton. The walk around Liverpool was informative, enlightening & humourous. Peter's stories & knowledge of the local area & the range of musicians, artists & venues covered was both extensive & impressive. Calling in to a couple of pubs during the walk is also a great chance to chat with Peter, ask questions & get to know the other people taking part in the walk. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

    Best music tour of Liverpool.
Amazing day. The tour with Peter Hooton was fantastic. We saw many places that would not be on other tours. Stories from the The swinging 60s through to Britpop in the 90s. Even covers the 00s. Peters personal stories were my favourites though. Tour finished off with drinks and more stories from Peter in the pub. Best tour of the city.

    Super Fab
From the moment James greeted us, we had a new friend. James was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, always upbeat, never rushed, and cheerfully answered all our questions. It was everything we could have wanted in a Beatles tour, and so well presented by a terrific guide. Additionally, we now know what Scouse is, in that James is the real deal, authentic Scouse! Thanks again James!

Thought I knew music until I did this tour
Excellent tour which I'd highly recommend. Peter has a vast knowledge of the Liverpool music scene to share and a multitude of great stories. Although the tour does touch on the Beatles, it is far more about exploring the post-Merseybeat music scene and boy is there a lot of it. The number of perfectly ordinary looking bars which have a rich musical heritage was astounding. The only bad thing I can say about the tour is that it made me wish I could timetravel in order to make the most of my new found knowledge!

Our day in the company of Nasher is one none of our small group will ever forget.

For many peope, Liverpool's world-renowned musical heritage is associated solely with the legacy of the Beatles, but this fantastic tour made me appreciate the sheer depth and quality of the musical talent that came out of the city in the 80s and 90s.

It was fascinating to see with our own eyes the places, pubs and clubs which played a significant part in the development of the music scene in Liverpool in the 80s and 90s, but most exciting of all, almost surreal, was that we were learning all this from someone who was a member of the biggest band of this era, the phenomenally successful Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

Nasher is a natural raconteur with an affable, down-to-earth nature which greatly enhanced the experience for me. Nothing was rushed, and I especially loved the interest he showed in us too as individuals.

Like me, if you want to do something really special for someone with an interest in the music of this era, this would be just the perfect way to do it.

Had a great time on Saturday doing the Liverpool Music Icons Tour with Nasher. Brian was a brilliant tour guide and host and showed a few historic gems around the city and painted a great picture of FGTH formative years. Also included a pint and a bit of a Q&A. Who wouldn't want a pint with one of the lads? Highly recommended.

No spoilers! A top day out & not your average tour! Nasher's tour as well as being informative was peppered with spontaneous wit & a delivery that conveyed his real passion for the city. You'll see old haunts that the band frequented and hear some colourful stories from back in the day, rounded off with a pint & a natter. Informative as it was entertaining, a top day out with a top fella. Highly recommended.

A fantastic walking tour of the city, not to strenuous, just a nice easy pace. Nasher was on top form, a very knowledgeable fella who’s passionate about his home city of Liverpool. The tour took in many musical gems of the 80’s along with some key Beatles places of interest. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Nasher

I was so looking forward to this tour and it was even better than i thought. The weather was beautiful which helped. Brian Nash (Nasher) was a great guide and a nice fella. If your a music fan then its a must. I thought i knew Liverpool well but you are shown parts which i have never seen and it was so interesting. The tour was to last 2 hours but went on for much longer and even ended up having a pint in Nasher's local. What is also good is its not all about The Beatles which so many tours of Liverpool are. This really is a great day out and you learn so much about the music industry in this Great City!

Absolutely fantastic insight into the 80s music scene in Liverpool. Nasher was a fantastic host with a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences. I would highly recommend this icon tour to anyone that would love to delve deeper into the early music scene and the places frequented by the stars. And the icing on the cake was having a beer or two with the man himself and listening to all his Frankie stories.
Keep up the excellent work Nasher, from Paul Hollywood & Lisa the L31 club !

We booked the Liverpool Music Icons Tour with Nasher and it was a top day!
We were with a group of 12, we visited some of the lesser known Liverpool music sites
and Brian told about them, had amusing anecdotes and showed photo`s.
We stopped for a drink and a talk and then had the rest of the tour, which was longer than expected!
Brian was happy to have pictures taken and to sign stuff.
It was a brilliant day and we highly recommend taking this tour!

An absolutely brilliant experience. If you have an interest in the Liverpool music scene, beyond the Beatles this is definitely the walking tour for you. In the excellent company of Nasher he will show you the sites of the legendary music studios, venues and music stores of the 70s and 80s and he has plenty of stories to tell. He loves this town. Let him show you around.

Really enjoyed our tour with Nasher of the iconic and less well known corners of Liverpool. Nasher shared his personal and historical stories in an engaging way. He brought back memories for us too. Chatted about the back stories behind Frankies get together for eurovision over drinks at the Bridewell. Recommended this tour to our friends and family. Don't miss out on this experience- it's well worth it.

We did the Brits music icon tour in Liverpool with Nasher from Frankie goes to Hollywood. His knowledge and humour was superb. Made my day when he said he had played guitar with James Burton . Great to have a scouser talking about Liverpool with such passion and humour. Went to parts of Liverpool that i have never been to and fantastic value. I think Nasher was more impressed when i showed him a photo of me with King Kenny from 1977. Well done Brian . Thanks for the Pint and Pizza! You are a superb funny guide
