    What a disappointment
With the exception of the stop at the National park, this was a disappointment from start to finish. It began with the tour leaving 1 hour late due to waiting for passengers that were not cruise passengers, despite this tour being specifically for cruise passengers. Peter kept telling us to check our tickets, that we were only leaving 30 minutes late. This was not true. My ticket said we would have 2 hours left in port after the tour, because of the late departure, we had about 20 minutes. The stops themselves were also huge let downs. At Conwy they stopped for 1 1/2 hours. Peter told us it would take 30 minutes to see the castle and we would have 1 hour to see the town. We thought that was a good amount of time. Unfortunately, since he has wasted the drive on pointless stories about some crosses we never even saw instead of giving us tips on what there is to actually do, it was an hour wasted. We wandered around with no clue what to do or where to go. We would have loved to have gotten a bucket and let the kids go crabbing, but as mentioned, we had no idea that was an option until it was you late. Later they drove us through the cutest little town with lots of shops and cafes and told us we would have 30 minutes to walk around. Then they kept driving way past the town to the end of it, where the biggest crowds were and no pubs, little food options, and we waited in line the entire 30 minutes just to get our kids an ice cream. Overall, Peter told us lots of stories about himself and the celebrities he has met, and very little about Wales and the things to do at the actual stops we made. We are avid travelers and have done several guided tours similar to this, and this was by far the worst. Total waste of our 1 day in Liverpool.

    Good excursion
The departure point was a bit difficult to find (much easier just to say "in front of the entrance to the Museum"). Shelly was a good and entertaining driver/guide (initially making me nervous as she used one hand to drive and the other to make underlining gestures) . Overall we enjoyed it and had no regrets taking this tour.

Good tour of the Lake District can use a bit of improvement
Beautiful and well-organized trip. I hope the tour company can help its tour drivers learn to avoid telling stories that demean women. I don't think the several women on the bus or the more thoughtful men on the tour needed to hear a story about nagging women and how their husbands need to appease them. The driver claimed this wasn't sexist but it really was, and connecting witchcraft to nagging housewives could hardly be seen any other way. Why should we have to pay money to hear this stuff when we could easily learn about the history of witchcraft accusations some other way? Otherwise, the trip was very good.

Lake District Tour from Liverpool with Frank was amazing!
Absolutely lovely tour with Frank! He was an amazing guide. Our family of 7 loved it! The Lake District tour was a wonderful opportunity to see so much of the countryside. I would absolutely do another tour with Busy Bus!

Peter Rabbit and the Lake District
Our day trip to the Lake District from Chester was absolutely an unique and memorable experience. We enjoyed the views of the rugged mountains, green hills and meadows with uncountable sheep, the drives through the winding roads passing by traditional English cottages and an unforgettable walk through the mountains along a small lake. We had enough time to enjoy strolling through the village of Grasmere , and bought some lovely Peter Rabbit souvenirs as the Lake District is the area where the world famous watercolorist and writer Beatrice Potter used to live. Full praise to our guide Frank who not only provided us with historical and recent facts about the area, but is a real enjoyable human being who made the trip into a incredible experience!!

    5* Lake District Tour
I was looking forward to seeing the Lake District, but our excellent guide Frank brought this tour to another level. From start to finish, he looked after us in a very thoughtful and fun way. As well as driving us through the beautiful scenery with lots of interesting anecdotes, the trip was made even more enjoyable by a selfie competition, an amazing walk through the woods, visiting the Stone Circle (with lovely photos being taken) etc.etc. Thank you Frank. I enjoyed every moment and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Wonderful road trip - New friends new horizons
I think as a solo traveller, i was very surprised to make friends from all over. Nepalese, a senior couple from the UK, lovely mum and daughter from Ireland as well as some friends from Malta. Our Guide Lee was pleasant, clear in the guiding and really humorous. It was so good to be able to visit the Lake District with a service that is experienced, safe and responsible. Thank you for having me and safe winds on your onward travels. You will Never Walk Alone.

    Wonderful Trip to North Wales!
Hubby and I had a wonderful trip to North Wales with Shelly.  The bus was comfortable, the stops were planned well to give us a varied glimpse and overview of beautiful North Wales.  Shelly was a great driver as well as being very informative, knowledgeable, engaging, funny, entertaining, and an all-around nice gal.  We would definitely go with BusyBus again.  Highly recommended!

Bus had no air conditioning during a heatwave, wish we had been informed as a member of our party has a medical condition which made this very difficult. I cannot express how horribly hot this was. While we cannot say forsure we are fairly certain this is where we picked up covid, was not helped by the windows constantly being put up and no air con or flowing air at all. Trapping everyone together with no air flow! You are at the mercy of their booking system... if people book in Chester/ Manchester you will spend hours driving in different directions for pick up/drop offs which will cut into your time at the destinations. Would not recommend for these two reasons. While the operator really was kind and did his best, having less than ten minutes in some locations due to all the picking up/dropping off was just not enough for me to see these sites.

We have responded directly to this client. Their many complaints from start to finish were misdirected at BusyBus who, in their opinion, were somehow responsible for the weather, global warming, the Covid pandemic and manufacturers vehicle specifications...oh...and road pot-holes. It came as no surprise to read their 1* Review that they seem to direct at everyone else in their reviews. Nothing more to be said really. I guess we are to blame for theit Christmas burnt Turkey too.

We've been on many bus tours on I can honestly say this is the best by far.
Shelley was our driver & guide, she had a great knowledge of the area & places that we visited & was always smiling.
We were given plenty of time at each stop & Shelley was always there to answer any queries that we might have.
I would highly recommend it as a great way to visit multiple places in one day without the stresses of driving & finding somewhere to park.

Fabulous day to North Wales, Frank, you're a legend! Funny, informative, friendly & professional. Not sure about your jokes though 😂
He told us all best places to shop, eat & drink. 👌. I can't even remember some of the places we saw, so many! full on tour with perfectly timed stops. Just the right amount of time at each one. Loved the games, quizzes & interaction, being a solo traveller made it easier. Nice touch playing Ferry cross the Mersey when going through tunnel, started the day off with a smile👏

Frank was our driver and guide. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and did a great job of keeping the tour group entertained on the road.

As for the North Wales tour, all the different stops were beautiful and I would highly recommend this trip for anyone.

Embarking on the North Wales Sightseeing Tour with the charismatic guide and driver, Lee, from Busy Bus Tours, was an absolute delight. Lee's enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge truly brought the sights of Llandudno’s pier, Snowdonia National Park, and Conwy to life. The tour seamlessly blended breathtaking natural beauty with rich history, from the stunning coastal views of Llandudno’s pier to the awe-inspiring landscapes of Snowdonia. The exploration of Conwy, complete with its majestic castle and the whimsical Quay House, the smallest house in Great Britain, added a charming and memorable dimension to the journey. Lee's engaging commentary and warm demeanor made the experience not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Lee, who is "a very safe driver", and Busy Bus Tours for an unforgettable adventure through the captivating tapestry of North Wales.

The trip should not at all be called an "adventure" trip. For us it was disappointing that 3 out of 5 stops (Llandudno, Conwy, Betws Y Coed) were tourist hotspots, where you could spend 45 minutes among a crowd of people, fast food and souvenir shops and then head back to the bus.

One beautiful place was Llynogwen, where we, looking back, should have left the tour. The last stop (Aqueduct) was at least interesting and a somewhat relaxed natural experience.
The tour ran from 09:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ~50% spent on the road (often on motorways) while the tourguide thought she had to fill the driving time non-stop with more or less interesting stories about Wales, like which Hollywood actors have been born there - not our piece of cake.

It was an additional great misery for us that in the small BusyBus (~15 people) somebody seemed to suffer from terrible digestion problems (assumingly) unnoticed by the tourguide and (assumingly) therefore uncommented by her.
In total it was a real torture and a waste of time and money. I cannot recommend this tour.

Oh dear! It appears you didn't enjoy our immersive adventure that titillated all senses? Unfortunately, Wales is a place with beautiful coastal towns, castles, mountains, valleys and enchanting scenery. You clearly didn't appreciate any of it and perhaps chose the wrong type of tour? I would respectfully suggest a tour to watch snow melt on a sand-dune in the Sahara might be more fitting? Argh well, can't please everyone all of time but reading your other reviews it's clear there's no pleasing you any of the time.

Best day tour in our travel experiences because of our engaging guide,Peter!
His charming enigmatic personality engaged our attention throughout the entire day. Great history lessons and funny stories made the day pass too quickly. We highly recommend this tour. The stops were perfectly spaced with plenty of time for us to venture away from the bus and yet complete the day’s well chosen itinerary.
Very professional . A must for everyone.

Fantastic day out. Our driver, Shelley, was a font of information and entertainment and took us on a tour that covered just about everything you could imagine in one day.
Our children, aged 15 and 10, loved it - especially the mountain stop in Snowdonia and the Llandudno Pier. Weather was mixed - sunny on the coast and a bit of rain higher up, but this just added to the experience.
Well worth the money and if you’re in Liverpool, well worth it for a change of scenery.
