- X4550HZmichellec0 contributionsLovely evening outMy partner booked this using our merlin passes, he paid extra for VIP seating as you recieved a drink and snack for an extra payment each, this i recommend as we all had choices of drinks, popcorn, nachos or candy floss. Popcorn is about is £4. We were impressed with this, plus great leg room. All of us had a fantastic time, the clown although I have read hasn't changed in years, I felt was amusing and made the show. Kids loved it and we have 4 from 11-20. My partner David is always up to joining in, he was picked out by the clown ( they made a good choice) he's such a good sport... had everyone routing for him and laughing. We had a great night. I didn't give full marks as I felt more acts were needed. If you go to Blackpool, the circus is a must xWritten November 15, 2024
- Lewisjones104930 contributionsSome good bits, a lot of boring bits.My first time coming to see the circus. I must of been to see a differnet blackpool tower circus than the rest of the reviewers as i though the majority of the show was very poor. The acts were very good such as the acrobats but the majority of it was filled with the clown and the brother which was horrendous. The clown was laughing so much on his own jokes i couldnt even hear what he said. Hours of my life i cant get back. Really needs more acts and much much less of the not funny clown.Written November 12, 2024

- karencZ7225PE0 contributionsDisappointing!Decided to take the grandchildren aged 5 & 3 to the circus as my Grandparents took me every year and I had always brought my own children, it was always a great show and we had fond memories. This visit, however, left a lasting impression but not a good one, unfortunately. Firstly, I think the standard ticket format really needs addressing. No seats allocated and it's a first come, first served basis, if you want a ringside seat you either have to pay VIP for front row or arrive ridiculously early and queue in the hope that you may get one, otherwise you're in the balcony, which we were. This wasn't particularly an issue until the show started, with limited viewing of the clowns who seemed to stand completely underneath on our side so we saw nothing and what's more you couldn't hear anything either. Thankfully the other acts were in the middle or the air. The acts were fair, some better than others but the biggest disappointment for me was the water finale. The picture shown here as an advertisement with the lights and fountain looking spectacular couldn't be more misleading. This is what I expected, however, this isn't what we got. There was nothing spectacular about this finale for sure. Understandably, there were restrictions due to the final act being positioned in the centre of the stage but the fountain was pathetic and over in the blink of an eye. The water was an absolute disgrace, not glowing blue but brown and manky. I'm only happy that none of the act ended up in it. The highlight of the show was walking past all the old pictures of days gone by when Blackpool Tower Circus really was something great. I can only hope that the powers that be see fit and invest in to making it great again. Sadly, I won't be rushing back or recommending anytime soon.Written November 8, 2024
- gailcrawford0 contributionsFabulous ShowHad a great time at the circus. Good old style entertainment. The acts were amazing and loved all the corny gags and slapstick. Love that phones not allowed so you could just enjoy the show.Written November 5, 2024
- Tony_Osborne0 contributionsNeeds a revampWe have normally visited the circus as a family most years and enjoyed the show immensely. Sadly though we went to the circus as a family this Sunday and were really disappointed at the lack of acts and content during the show, (which was only 90 minutes long with a 25 minute interval in the middle). The show was padded out mainly by the clowns with material that had mostly been used previously. I also felt that the set up time for that acts during the show was also lengthy and wasted even more of the show time. I personally feel that the show needs a complete revamp and for a show that has a large audience was sadly extremely poor.Written November 4, 2024
- Jessyka19900 contributionsA circusWe had great seats for the circus due to our merlin passes so booked up for our trip having never seen one before, the show was fine, funny in parts but felt quite slow, especially at the beginning. We did leave during the interval as the was a lot of loud unexpected noises that our daughter didn’t like, We didn’t see warning of this or may not of booked.Written November 4, 2024
- Sightsee371779678810 contributionsgreat funWe had a great time in the dungeons. Didn't really know what to expect but it definitely surpassed our expectations. The actors were great too.Written November 4, 2024
- S2701RVdiana0 contributionsNeeds a makeoverThere were a couple of hire wire acts that were very good. The clown was good but most of the humour was Adult or certainly above most children. It really needs updating and injecting with some imagination. Some of the girls looked like they would rather be elsewhere. The auditorium needs a makeover too. Uncomfortable seating. We took our 3 year old Granddaughter. I dont think much of it was aimed at that age range. Other little ones around us looked very bored. Maybe it would be better to have the earlier performance aimed at little ones and the later at more older children.Written November 3, 2024
- Pendragon0 contributionsGreat visitWe visited as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children - 5 and 8 years old). We got VIP tickets with our Merlin pass, which put us on the front row. We also got a free drink and snack each with the tickets, which was really nice. The seating was good, with plenty of leg room being on the front row. The show was really good, our kids loved it. They had a good variety of acts with some audience participation.Written November 3, 2024
- David M0 contributionsWorth every penny for the circusWow, what a difference to the ballroom. Very inclusive especially for my disabled child, the show was better than my expectations. My daughter is still talking about the clown "he was wonderful" so I would go to the circus very inclusive and very professional.Written November 3, 2024
- louise s0 contributionsBrilliant!Absolutely loved it. Although I did cling onto my husband for most of it! Actors are fab. Highly recommend, it’s a must do visit for everyone visiting Blackpool! (Maybe not young children though!)Written November 3, 2024
- Tmisscheeky0 contributionsLove Mooky…Second time to see Circus at Blackpool Tower & have to say usually not a fan of clowns 🤡 - BUT Mooky & Mr Boo were fantastic, found them funny & giving real entertainment between different acts. The Acrobat’s were amazing & this 2 hour show flew by. The only downside was I didn’t find the seats that comfortable. Highly Recommend for Mooky & Mr Boo alone…Written November 2, 2024
- SueArmitage0 contributionsFabulous 👌Went aged 45 for my first ever visit to the circus. Husband and our teenage son and his mates were dragged along on the 8 attraction pass and all ended up really enjoying the circus and the day on a whole. Highly recommend, was crying with laughter and gasping with baited breath.. Absolutely fabulous. The acts were all amazing. Superb entertainment, can’t recommend enough. Well done guys and dolls. 👌We had a blast. Thank you. ☺️Written November 2, 2024
- elainehK6174XV0 contributionsLost its sparkleHave seen the circus a couple of times but think it's gone downhill a bit, the acts were ok but not as exciting as other years. The seats are uncomfortable and cramped. Cannot sit where you want rude staff telling us where to sit. Acts were doing mistakes not sure if they are tired or not practiced enough bit concerning with the one on the wheel thought he was going to fall off and not harnessed or wire. The act where the clown did a film was boring and wished it would hurry up. Its sort of lost its sparkle which is a shame and has put me off going again.Written November 1, 2024

I was with a man with learning difficulties, he loved it as he got his photo with every figure, but: I'm a celebrity feature with one waxwork? That looks nowt like Ant (no Dec), coronation street with Kym Marsh (gone), Diedrie (legend, but there were only a few and she was sat alone nowhere near Ken), strobe and flashing lights so you can't take your own photos but they have people every 10 yards to use their own. Feel sorry for families who will pay the Earth. Good on a rainy day but way behind London.

We enjoyed visiting as part of double tickets for here and the Blackpool tea package. The strictly section and I’m a celebrity were particularly impressive and my 6 year old loved these. Friendly staff too. What I would say is that more up to date celebrities could be added, Taylor swift being one lol as my little girl was a bit upset not to see her. There were a few that younger kids wouldn’t know so maybe a celebrities gone but not forgotten section and put them in like Bruce Forsyth, Benny Hill etc. I do appreciate it’s expensive to do this though and styles move on quickly. . Was told Harry styles is arriving so that will be a good addition . Likes the Ed Sheeran one and guitar. Maybe a suggestions box would be good to see who is popular with the young ones. Worth a visit though.

Totally recommend visiting this. Great show. Funny current comedy. My 2 and 6 years old were mesmerized. My first circus experience made me want to go to more. Sound a bit ropey at the back so couldn't always here the comperes and female singer very well. Told to keep 2 seats away from other families. Got in cheaper booking online visiting the sealife centre and Madame Tussauds too. Easy to book timeslots

Very poor and in need of updating. Still got Joe Hart as England goalkeeper 7 after his last match. Still got Boris outside number 10. We have had two prime ministers since Boris was in power!!

From the comments after customer reviews from Madam Tussauds actually comes across to me, as the place is not bothered as they are laughing all the way to the bank. In my opinion should be made to close down as I feel is an absolute con for your money - Poor - sorry I went. I genuinely feel conned - Rubbish. I wish I had read these reviews before I went - utter utter rubbish without any doubt - tacky & a great rip off - Stay Away & keep hold of your money - you will be sorry - your choice.

Spent some time walking through the attraction. So many famous faces to see. Just too much upselling of photos which we didn't want.

Visited today with daughter and two young grandchildren. I was fairly good although a couple of the wax works were nothing like the characters. The only thing I would suggest is having arrows marking which way to go. We ended up going backwards and forwards to make sure we didn’t miss any of the waxworks.

We visited and had a good time but expected it to be better to be honest. It’s worth a visit if you need to get out of the rain.

So the other half of the attractions we paid for was to visit madame tussauds. It was a really good visit, to see the marvel characters and the new strictly set up was really cool. The last time I went was 4 years ago to the same one and it's not really change. Really good and very interactive. It's worth a visit any time 😊

You just need to search on there website. It’s better to book online as it’s cheaper and guaranteed. You can also book two attractions which makes things cheaper also if you are interested in visiting other things.
