Brilliant from pickup to drop off Tony driver was informative, funny and great knowledge of Lakes. Highly recommend and so much easier than driving with car.

Our guide was spectacular! He was so knowledgeable about the area having grown up here. He paced the tour perfectly with stretch breaks and lunch too. One of our scheduled stops was unexpectedly closed and the way he quickly pivoted and included different and off-the -beaten path places to make up for it made us feel special. I can’t believe how much we saw and learned in one day!

As myslef and my other half boarded the mountain goat mini bus to head on our six lakes tour, the driver Tim introduced himself to all on board and gave everyone clear instructions on what the tour would involve before we set off. We set off, and the whole way throughout the tour, he was giving as much detail and interesting facts about everything along the way. We also managed to get plenty of pictures and refreshment breaks at certain points of the tour. Overall, we were both very happy with the guided tour and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks, Tim, for also making us laugh and making it worth going it was the most beautifulist day.

Tim was our tour guide and he was outstanding! He was factual, friendly, fun, and quite frankly freaky good! The scenic sites and getting there were absolutely breathtaking. Also met fun and nice people on the tour—total of 12! Excellent experience

Tim was amazing with his knowledge of the area and enjoyed his rendition of Wadsworth I wandered lonely as a cloud as we passed the area where Wadsworth and his sister walked. Don’t miss the gingerbread in Grasmere. The day was stunning with a great bunch of people .

We used Mountain Goat for three days. We loved each trip. Our climax trip was the 10 Lakes tour. Our tour guide was Tony and he was special. He managed the difficult driving conditions with ease. We gathered some Great pictures. The vistas are Amazing. Tony was very knowledgeable and shared historic information. Lunch stops were very nice. Ample stops for photos, rest and more pictures. Highly recommended.

Definitely a day well spent. We are regular visitors to the Lake District and know it well, but having a local guide with broad knowledge of the area, means you get to know the history and anecdotes of each place you visit. Our guide Graham was excellent and looked after us really well. His driving skills were put the test quite a few times, passing cars on narrow roads, and even having to reverse some distance because of a road closure. I would recommend this tour to visitors old and new, it’s excellent.

Graham was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole trip fun! He negotiated the narrow roads well and still managed to continue with his narrative 😀 Definitely a 5 star trip 👏

Had a fab day. Mark P our driver and guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. Views were fantastic and went along roads would never hsve attempted myself. Would recommend going on a trip with Mountain Goat.

Mark took us to all the beauty spots along the way to take photos and he was full of knowledge about the area telling us things along the way would highly recommend this trip to anyone who hasn't been on it money well spent cheers Mark for everything. I took the All Creatures Great & Small tour with John S. It was a loaded tour. The stops ranged from long stops at the James Harriot museum in Thirsk and in Grassington and shorter stops at the Alderson farm, St Michael's and All Angels church and Bolton Castle. John is a fountain of knowledge. He gave us information on York where we started, James Herriot, the lovely villages and Dales that we passed, geology, English history ... His knowledge was so far ranging. Plus, he rearranged the route because of a marathon. This tour is a great way to see the beautiful scenery of the Dales even if you are not a fan of All Creatures Great & Small.

This trip was truly amazing. We saw so many incredible sights and our guide, david, was full of so many amazing facts. This was the absolute highlight of our trip and i will always cherish it. Much love from your friends from kuwait

This 10-hour tour from Liverpool my husband and I took on September 1 was a great value. Our guide Scott was personable and knowledgeable. There was sufficient time in Conwy, the National Slate Museum, and Betws-y-Coed to explore and get a bite to eat. The short stops for photo ops were good, too. This was a great intro on our first visit to Wales.

A wonderful day out. Dennis shared so many wonderful stories and showed us places that you could easily pass by without knowing the story behind it. He stopped many places to take photos, so never felt that we were missing things. Never felt rushed. Recommend this tour especially if you are worried about driving the narrow, steep hills or just want to relax and enjoy the lake district without worrying about parking etc.
