    This tour introduces you to the culture and famous characters of The Lake District. Discover the landscapes and history which has created this UNESCO World Heritage Site you see today. This journey takes you to the Langdale Valley, filled with heritage and farmland. There are many picturesque views along the way including Blea Tarn and the Langdale Pikes.
    You travel over Tarn pass to Coniston, famous for world water speed records and the setting of the book Swallows & Amazons.  
    Continue on to Tarn Hows, a scenic beauty spot with lake and woodland views. Then to the charming medieval village of Hawkshead, where poet William Wordsworth attended school.

    This was our first mountain goat tour as the others were full that we wanted. It was a wonderful afternoon with a lovely guide/driver. We visited the beautiful scenery around conniston water, Hawkshead and Tarn how. Amazing scenery and lots of information about the lakes.

    Went with Mountain Goat Tours. Was an insightful tour and our driver/guide Steve was full of knowledge and witty too! Enjoyed beautiful, idyllic scenery, were able to take pictures at various stop off points and enjoy the beautiful landscape, waterfalls and the mountains. Refreshment breaks...More

    We were the only two people on the bus on a very wet afternoon. Our driver/guide, Chris, accommodated the tour to our interests . He had a wealth of local knowledge, was very kind and very friendly and we had a wonderful time.Thank you.

    Excellent Tour!! Kevin was a very patient and knowledgeable guide. He showed us some amazing views with an interesting fact about every place on route. His driving was very good on very difficult mountain passes. We felt safe at all times. Would definitely recommend Mountain...More
