Fantastic day from the moment Gerry picked us up, he was a great, friendly, knowledge guy. Made the day tour so much more memorable and even converted family into joining the National Trust. Great driving up Rhino and Hardnott Pass. Gerry had so much knowledge of Beatrix Potter things we never knew about her and how much she has done for the lake district and all the rest of the UK.

We were a family group of 7 adults and 7 children and enjoyed a great day out from ten in the morning to five in the afternoon. Our driver Mark, apart from being a good driver, was great fun and very good with the commentary. We all enjoyed his jokes and other anecdotes (I think we managed to amuse him too!).
The experience was a memorable addition to a great few days attending a family wedding at Windermere.

Mark is an excellent driver who is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. He clearly loves the areas we toured and went out of his way to show us sights we might otherwise not have seen. He tells the best worst jokes you’ve ever heard. I’m not kidding, some real groaners!
If I ever get back this way I’m requesting Mark as my driver. I had such a good time on his tour.

Super private hire trip out today with Gerry on a revised High Adventure tour - basically all the high passes! Can’t comment on Wrynose as my eyes were closed most of the way 😂😂. Perfectly timed, we learned loads about the area and the roads and views were fantastic. Thank you for making it such a special day.

This is my 3rd time at Lake District and first time with my parents. I was in a doubt if they will be comfortable in these 2 long trips back to back. Luckily we've got a wonderful weather and our tour guide and driver Gerry was spectacular. He belongs to the same area and shared with us all sorts of information. He is a very skilled driver and took us through the high ridges very comfortably. His in-between jokes never made us bored through-out our trips. It was a complete experience with good weather, excellent scenic views and Gerry's knowledge about each and every corner of Lake District.

Today we had the BEST day! Gerry, our driver, was the most fabulous host on our tour of the Lake District. His driving expertise, and extensive knowledge of the local area, were second to none. The driver and tour guide, Mark, was awesome. He was very engaging, entertaining and an excellent driver. We passed some really treacherous terrain but he navigated them expertly. He made the journey smooth and quite interesting.
The high adventure experience itself was great. We saw some beautiful scenery and went to Will definitely go with Goat Mountain again when next I'll be in the Lake District

Highly Recommend! Fantastic Days Out! Socially distanced, even our masks did not spoil the fun! Having driven the route previously over the spectacular Wrynose Pass and Hardknot Pass (probably the highest roads in England at one in three!) we were a little apprehensive for being in a minibus, (comfortable as this was) on these steep and narrow roads! But it was wonderful being able to experience this as passengers. Plenty of stops for amazing photographs, amenities and sight seeing. Friendly humorous driver added to the whole experience. Loved the 10 Lakes Tour as well! 11 out of 10 for Mountain Goat Tours.You've got to do this!

Excellent day out visiting some awesome places.
Our guide - Lisa - was fantastic. Excellent knowledge throughout the day, but her driving skills, especially getting the bus up and over Hardknott Pass, were exceptional.
