We used Mountain Goat for three days. We loved each trip. Our climax trip was the 10 Lakes tour. Our tour guide was Tony and he was special. He managed the difficult driving conditions with ease. We gathered some Great pictures. The vistas are Amazing. Tony was very knowledgeable and shared historic information. Lunch stops were very nice. Ample stops for photos, rest and more pictures. Highly recommended.

Definitely a day well spent. We are regular visitors to the Lake District and know it well, but having a local guide with broad knowledge of the area, means you get to know the history and anecdotes of each place you visit. Our guide Graham was excellent and looked after us really well. His driving skills were put the test quite a few times, passing cars on narrow roads, and even having to reverse some distance because of a road closure. I would recommend this tour to visitors old and new, it’s excellent.

Graham was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole trip fun! He negotiated the narrow roads well and still managed to continue with his narrative 😀 Definitely a 5 star trip 👏

I took the All Creatures Great & Small tour with John S. It was a loaded tour. The stops ranged from long stops at the James Harriot museum in Thirsk and in Grassington and shorter stops at the Alderson farm, St Michael's and All Angels church and Bolton Castle. John is a fountain of knowledge. He gave us information on York where we started, James Herriot, the lovely villages and Dales that we passed, geology, English history ... His knowledge was so far ranging. Plus, he rearranged the route because of a marathon. This tour is a great way to see the beautiful scenery of the Dales even if you are not a fan of All Creatures Great & Small.

This trip was truly amazing. We saw so many incredible sights and our guide, david, was full of so many amazing facts. This was the absolute highlight of our trip and i will always cherish it. Much love from your friends from kuwait

This 10-hour tour from Liverpool my husband and I took on September 1 was a great value. Our guide Scott was personable and knowledgeable. There was sufficient time in Conwy, the National Slate Museum, and Betws-y-Coed to explore and get a bite to eat. The short stops for photo ops were good, too. This was a great intro on our first visit to Wales.

A wonderful day out. Dennis shared so many wonderful stories and showed us places that you could easily pass by without knowing the story behind it. He stopped many places to take photos, so never felt that we were missing things. Never felt rushed. Recommend this tour especially if you are worried about driving the narrow, steep hills or just want to relax and enjoy the lake district without worrying about parking etc.

Good value and interesting your. Great your guide. Lots of photo ops. Enjoyable day. The highlight of our UK trip. This is the tour to take if you are in the area with not a lot of time to spare.

A great day out in the lakes maybe the best way to see so much of the Lake District friendly well informed tour guide/driver Stef was excellent in my opinion perhaps the best value for money in the Lake District.

Stef took us on an amazing tour around the Lake District. He knows many super interesting facts about... well, everthing really! Well worth the time it takes and the costs.

Another amazing trip with Mountain Goat tours! Out on those roads I don't want to drive or find a parking spot. Let them do it and you can look out the window and relax. Well, sort of relax because that might be difficult on some of the mountain edges. Visit lakes, mountain, bridges, mines, and more. This tour goes Castlerigg Stone circle as well. Definitely worth it.

The views ... the roads. So glad to give the driving to Derick over the Hardknott Pass. Plus my visit was during a three day rain and yet still worth it. But not just driving, the history with the stories about the area and places we visited. Unforgettable experience made so easy
