- Naniepoppie1230 contributionsQuick overview of the history of the Titanic and very reasonably priced!Interesting tidbits of the story of the titanic. A little difficult to get to the meeting place from the cruise port. Guide was great. Quite an actor and comedian. Good paced but really wish we had a paper map of South Hampton as we had no idea where to meet the shuttle to return to the ship and had to end up taking a taxi which was 10 pounds Map given to us on the ship app was for London onlyWritten September 25, 2024

- B2740VWjayg0 contributionsUnfortunate cancellationWe visited Southampton by way of the Queen Mary 2 and anticipated docking near the meeting point for a walking tour. As the ship docked at the Mayflower Pier, we discovered the limited time that we would have ashore and the transportation options were not favorable to meeting the ships "On Board" time. We regretably cancelled our walking tour and were promptly acknowledged and provided a full refund. We even got a personal note from a company representative. I believe we would have enjoyed the tour andWritten August 25, 2024

Truly informative tour, during which you learn so much about the history of Southampton as a backdrop to Titanic's fateful voyage. Watch out for the atmospheric conclusion. Time flew by, and it's a great way to meet others.

Was a pleasant day and we were lucky with the weather. Brian was very knowledgable of his history in the local area. Some very interesting stories and locations. Of no fault of the tour host, it’s a shame that you cannot stand at the docks the Titanic departed from before its demise. If I had time I think it would be good to combine with the museum.

Thanks so much for the review. The Titanic is an incredible story. The famous dock is viewed from a distance, as it remains a private industrial site; that needs to very much change. Wishing you all the best. Cheers. Bryan.
