It was a fabulous experience in a van with a total of 6 persons. Andrew the guide, driver and everything else is exceptionally knowledgeable, patient and kind.

We were lucky enough to go with Andrew, who was a funny, kind, and knowledgeable guide. He even dropped us closer to homes, which was greatly appreciated. This is basically a 7-8 hour tour with a max. size of 7, in which you see 4-5 stops - on all you will get the background and a (short) tour and on some you will have 15 min - 60 min of your own free time to roam, eat, shop, or do whatever you want. All in all, one of the best trips and tour guides I've had in a long time. You will NOT be disappointed - Cotswald is amazing! Thank you again, Andrew

I would definitely recommend this tour. We covered a lot of ground in the time allotted. Jo was a great tour guide. She was warm, friendly and shared insights and stories about the places we visited. I had some unforeseen physical limitations and she was very accommodating and helpful.

Jo made our day in the Cotswolds a memorable one. She is very knowledgeable and patient. She went above and beyond with showing us the beautiful villages, and entertaining our questions. Her teaching background was evident and helpful. We highly recommend this tour and Jo!

We recently had time in Southampton before getting on a cruise ship. We decided to avail ourselves of a guided tour with our driver Ian Mowbray-Williams of Undiscovered Cotwolds. It was a spectacular day! Ian picked up 3 of us for a fun tour of Stonehenge and Bath. Ian was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, sharing stories about his travels, education and experiences, as well as his in-depth knowledge of the history in both locations. We learned things that we would have never known if we had gone on our own. We stopped for lunch at a local pub in Bath (The Raven) which was one of Ian's favorites. Ian ate with us and recommended the meat pies which did not disappoint! You know it's a good place when all the locals eat there! I would highly recommend taking advantage of Ian's expertise and his easy-going personality - it was very clear that he loves his job! Our only disappointment was that we didn't have another day there as we would have loved to visit the Cotwolds with Ian!

Excellent tour, knowledgeable guide, comfortable transport, small group, adequate time for exploration. Well worth the expense.

The autumn scenery was beautiful and it was a lovely sunny day. We went to out of the way spots we’d never had found on our own! We were a small group, guided brilliantly by Jo. She was so articulate, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I’ve been to the Cotswolds a couple of times and I have to say this is the best trip I’ve taken so far. Our tour guide Andrew was excellent giving a background of where we went and interesting stories and a great sense of humor comfortable ride and allowed time for someone who walks with a cane like me I will go again and again I would rate it five out of five stars.

Our tour was originally scheduled for Saturday from Southampton but we were notified on Thursday that the original driver was became unavailable so we were asked if rescheduling for Sunday would be OK. That was a bit disappointing because the weather Saturday was forecast much better than Sunday, but we agreed. Sunday, indeed, was rainy and that was a but disappointing. But enough about the weather. Our driver, Ian, was prompt, safe, very friendly, very knowledgeable, and provided a great tour complete with history, and local stories ranging from English history to Russian spies to Nazi scandals all giving us a connection to this beautiful part of the world. He told us what a "Marmite thing" is and I have discovered that I am pro-Marmite. Due to the rescheduling, the tour company treated us to a great Sunday Dinner at a beautiful Inn. These are all great memories contributing to why we travel.

We had a fantastic tour despite the overcast skies and a bit of drizzle. It didn’t impact the tour at all. We enjoyed Andy’s vast knowledge of the history of the area and his many anecdotes about the past. He was an excellent tour guide.

Ian did a fantastic job helping us explore the Cotswolds. He shared great stories about historical events at each location. His lunch recommendation at a local pub was perfect. Must do trip.

We had a wonderful tour through the Cotswolds with Andy on my wife's birthday. Andy knows the area intimately and gives great context to the history of the region and specific sites visited. Recommend this tour very much.

Great itinerary, plenty of time to see it all. Guide was great, didn't talk too much but knew plenty. The trip took us to several villages, we walked around got the gist of each time longer in others, had lunch with plenty of recommendations from the driver.

I cannot recommend Ian’s tour enough. Started with a very easy pick up at Oxford station, then we headed into the Cotswolds. We had a great mix of time to explore ourselves, and group walks around the villages. Ian always had wonderful recommendations on what to see/try/eat. We also got to see a great blend of the more well known villages and the hidden gems. Having seen how others drive in the cotswolds, I was very glad to be in such skilled hands (and glad I wasn’t driving). Overall I cannot recommend this tour enough. I will be recommending to family and friends, and will be back for more.

This was a highlight during our visit to Oxford. Ian, our guide, drove us to seven charming villages on a full day of exploring the Cotswolds. Such a beautiful part of the world. I highly recommend this tour.
