About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- datavortex0 contributionsOverall Positive ExperienceWe used EC for three transfers during our trip. Heathrow airport to Southampton, Southampton to London via Stonehenge, and London to Heathrow airport via Windsor Castle. We had 4 or 6 people in each trip with tons of luggage. They put us in 8 seater vans and there was plenty of room, including with car seats for 2 kids. Booking was simple, fast, and overall excellent. All the rides were on time and clean. We had three different drivers and they varied in how friendly they were. But they were all competent, excellent drivers, and got us there on time. Price was competitive for a private car. I would use EC Minibus for our next trip to the UK.Written July 11, 2024
- johnnF131DE0 contributionsNo-show.Driver ever showed up, claimed the appointment was for 9 a.m. it was for 8 a.m. We waited until 8:40 and the office never answered our phone calls. We wound up paying nearly $200 for the taxi to Heathrow. Note that was nearly $150 cheaper than the Trip Advisor/Viator price we paid. Live and learn.Written June 23, 2024
- scorpio1170 contributionsSeamless Dependable Travel Arrangements and Comfortable VehicleWe used EC Minibus for transfer from Heathrow to a hotel in Westminster London and a few days later to take us to Southampton with a 2 hour stop in Windsor. We are 2 older adults and had 4 very large suitcases. We arranged our transit by email, responses and communication were timely and payment by credit card was a seamless transaction. As travelers from the US you always take a gamble traveling overseas and our arrangements went flawlessly. Our driver was professional, timely yet very friendly and picked us up in a very clean, comfortable vehicle. He recommended a restaurant in Windsor for our stop there and it was excellent. In Southampton we were staying one night pre-cruise at a boutique hotel and he escorted us in to make certain we were using the right entrance considering we had a lot of luggage and are "seniors". I will use EC minibus without hesitation for my future transit needs when traveling there. Thanks for a job well done!Written June 20, 2024
- 254coreyl0 contributionsJoao with EC Minibus was ExcellentThis was a round-trip pickup from London to the cruise terminal in Southampton and back to LHR for a family cruise. The van seated my entire 7 member group and our luggage comfortably. We arrived at the terminal and the airport early. I'll definitely book again with EC Minibus the next time I travel to London!Written May 26, 2024
- 463sherriep0 contributionsPrivate tour from Southampton Cruise port to LondonWe had the most amazing day! We were picked up by our driver at 8 AM, who was waiting outside just as we left the terminal, so that we would not miss him. He was just delightful as he took us first to Stonehenge, then to Bath. He told us about the audio tour to listen to at Stonehenge and where to go to eat in Bath. He shared with us his knowledge about different areas that we traveled through and was so accommodating the entire day. He waited a couple of hours in each place for us to experience all that we wanted to and then brought us back into London in the middle of rush-hour traffic but maintained such a happy attitude the entire day. I would highly recommend this experience for those who are looking to try to make a tour day of their first day in the city before they check into their hotel. We loved everything about it! We would definitely use this tour company again for the same exact tour. FIVE STARS!Written May 8, 2024

- A212GGdavidm0 contributionspainless transfers in LondonOn a trip with LOTS of luggage (and frail backs) we booked EC Minibus from LHR to our London hotel, then our hotel to Southampton for the QM2 home. The driver met us at the arrivals lounge exactly when promised (a bit early, actually), took us precisely where we needed to be. The same driver, 4 days later, on time again for pickup and drop off. We didn't touch our luggage when he was around. We booked a larger vehicle and it was perfect for us and our heaps of stuff. Driver was pleasant and professional. Booking process was seamless. Charges were exactly as expected. I found this company because I wanted to deal directly with the provider, not through some website that makes it look like they're a company when they're really a broker. Next trip, they'll be my first choice. Zero hassle. Really smoothed out what could have been a rough part of the trip. Totally worth it (and reasonably priced, too).Written December 22, 2023
- KCC2180 contributionsEnjoyable trip to Southampton from LondonVery well done. Our driver was on time and communicated with us until he arrived. Very nice trip that exactly as promised. Very comfortable. Joao was our driver and he was informative and helpful at all turns. Definitely recommend this trip as a precursor to our cruise.Written October 28, 2023
- nationalvelvetcm0 contributionsEnjoyable but disgusted that they allow dogs in the shopsA good mix of shops - some more attainable than others - and there are definitely some bargains to be had. My only complaint was that they allow dogs (not service dogs) inside the shops which I found really, really off-putting.Written October 22, 2023
- Carol03250 contributionsRecommend EC MinibusWe hired EC Minibus on two occasions. Once to transport us from Heathrow to our London hotel and then a few days later to drive us from London to our Southampton cruise pier. On both occasions the drivers arrived on time, were friendly and courteous, and had a clean comfortable vehicle.Written October 5, 2023
- robertgT4419DG0 contributionsAvoid this trip! Book a taxi and pay for your own entrance to Windsor for the same price.Terrible Service. I spent a full hour frantically looking for a "Coach" as was described at the port. It turned out to be a minivan and the driver finally contacted me 1 hour after the meeting time. Driver had to search for parking, didn't understand the ticketing and as a result we lost a full hour of time at the castle. Driver was friendly enough, but not at all engaging. He clearly didn't know what he was doing.Written September 21, 2023
- W3145UFjohna0 contributionsEasiest Port we've encountered, but a long long long way from London. There was only 1 ship at the port, but it was so easy and quick to both board and deboard. The drop off and pick up areas are right outside the building entrance and exits making connection with your bus or van very easy. Not easy would be walking to the train terminal. There were several taxis but we had already arranged for a private van for 6 of us. Our drive from the port to downtown London took two hours, and the traffic was light!Written September 18, 2023

- SkipRope0 contributionsExcellent Service - Easy transfer from cruise ship to central LondonExcellent service and affordable … arrived on time and were easy to find. I was anxious about the connection—but it went extremely smooth. They responded promptly when I had questions! Highly recommend EC Mini Bus shuttle. I have actually recommended them to my travel agent I was so pleased.Written September 9, 2023

During one of our one day stops from the cruise ship in Southampton we decided to this excursion to Salisbury and Stonehedge. All I can say is WOW! The transport (and we were on a bus) was very comfortable. The visits to Stonehedge (by goodness it was cold and windy on the day) was quite interesting particularly the museum. However the history at Salisbury Cathedral where you can see the Magna Carta is beyond amazing - so much history.
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made the trip even more of a learning experience. The staff at Salisbury cathedral were very eager to help and answer any question.
If your on a cruise out of Southampton don't miss doing this - an outstanding full day.
Would do it again in a heart beat.

We took the MSC shore excursion to Salisbury and Stonehenge, and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Stonehenge is a remarkable site and we're grateful to have seen it up close. Salisbury is such a beautiful town, quaint yet lively at the same time. Seeing their magnificent Cathedral was a highlight. We'd love to spend a week, at least, in Salisbury to really immerse ourselves in its ambience. Our tour guide was very helpful, and entertaining as he informed us of the area's history, in several languages., Very impressive!

When at Stonehenge, on this tour are you able to walk within the stone circle, or do you need to stay outside of the circle behind a rope?
If not allowed inside the circle, can you refer me to a tour group that offers the inside the circle tours?

Hi, we would like a pick up around 11am from Southampton port, then the excursion to Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral followed by drop of to Heathrow airport. We want a van that takes 6 people, 4 big suitcases and 6 hold luggage. whether this is possible and price. Thank you. Lourdes PULLICINO
