      Great experience
Great trip to visit Stonehenge and Bath and not have to worry about all the details. Definitely a long day, but the tour guide was great and made it an enjoyable day

      Guide was great
I wasn't sure what to expect, but the tour was very informative and well organized. Jerry did a great job. I didn't expect to be crammed into a huge bus packed with people, and would have liked a smaller group. It amazing that the island allows the huge tour buses on the island given the narrow roads. The driver did an awesome job navigating obstacles. You see a limited amount due to the driving required, but I recommend it.

      Enjoyable and relaxing
Everything was on time and journey very relaxing. An Easter egg. Was a nice thought driver very good. Guide Andrew was very informative however one hour stop was not long enough at Godshill as no time to have lunch and see the village. Needless to say is fantastic for the views but very toristy and very expensive especially £9 for the chair

      Awesome day out from Brighton!
I am an American on transfer at the University of Sussex, so I am not in the UK for vacation with very limited time to explore. However, I was pleased to find this weekend day tour to Stonehenge which is on my bucket list. Being able to visit Bath too was truly a bonus as this turned out to also be a must-see! The excursion was well organized, the guide Laura recommended we download the audio guide app to enjoy the visit to these awesome rocks which is worth doing. It was a shame the weather turned for the worst as my sneakers got pretty wet but the shop was well stocked with souvenirs including Stonehenge socks which saved me for the walking tour of Bath! The tour of the city was fun, Laura had a great sense of humor, telling us about a former famous Hollywood resident and how the streets were named, I loved hearing about Mary Shelley and Dickens and seeing famous film locations. She also pointed out great places to buy local candy and cozy pubs to have a typical roast. I managed to make it into the Abbey where they had a huge globe suspended in the centre of the church which was pretty awesome to see. I recommend this tour with Laura, it was especially convenient for me with the limited time I have!

      Hassle-free, fun day-trip from Brighton.
This day trip from Brighton was perfectly timed, informative, and fun. We had enough time in both Greenwich and Cambridge to see the highlights. Optional punting was a great way to finish up. Our guide, Gerry, was knowledgeable, helpful, and super-flexible. Great experience on a very nice bus that was much easier than navigating public transport.

      Full day, but worth it!
This was an Anderson Tour that left London at 7:15am, arrived back at 8:30pm, and went to the Isle of Wight. It was a long day, but worth it to see Osborne House of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Also saw and ate lunch at Shanklin Beach. Another stop was the adorable village, Godshill village. Do see the miniature village set up. It’s actually pretty cool, especially the plantings that are kept to scale for the village. This tour includes the ferry ride over to the island where we saw 2 cruise ships pulling away on our way back. It’s a long day, bit a good one. Our driver was Brendan and he kept us amused and well informed.

      Beautiful places and amazing guide
Cambridge and Greenwich are very beautiful places. Our guide Laura was amazing. She explained us all about the history of the places that we have visited, it was very interesting. It means she has really good knowledge. She took very good care of everyone. I asked her about the other nice places in UK, she could immediately recommend me and gave me more information, that was very helpful. Thank you so much Laura. You are amazing!

      Good but rushed
PROS: Our guide Fabio was amazing, in addition to knowing very well both visited places he has excellent general knowledge about many other things, was a pleasure to talk to him. Also he was always there to answer everyone's question. CONS: Time in Bath is very short, I wish we could have at least 1 more hour there. If you go to Roman Bath, you don't have time to do anything else. Besides that, would be better if we arrived 1h before in Bath, because as many cafes closes at 5pm, it was hard to find a place to eat after visiting Roman Bath.

If you ever want to get a glimpse of what studying in one of the best universities in the world would like to be, I would recommend this tour. I booked it on the 8th of March 2020 and had a unique experience. The tour started in Brighton and we went by coach to Windsor and Eton first. The coach was excellent, clean and we had an experienced driver.
For the tour we had the opportunity to explore Windsor on our own or follow our guide Gerry. Windsor is an amazing little town, famous for Windsor Castle. If you ever wanted to see the Queen in "more private", go there. After a short walk to Eton, we got back on the coach and went to Oxford, known for hosting more than 35 colleges. Apart from the excellent education, Oxford is astonishingly beautiful. In Oxford, Gerry showed us some of the college buildings and we even went to Christ Church College. There we had the opportunity to see one of the film sets of the Harry Potter film sets. Even though the price is quite high, I would highly recommend it to every Potterhead and fan.
Our tour guide, Gerry, made the experience unique. He was entertaining, but also included many details on the history of England and British culture. He spoke very clearly and made sure to give clear instructions for safety and time regulations. Gerry also seemed to be interested in the people, as he accompanied a friend of mine and me to Christ Church College or talked to other passengers. He was open-minded and showed us the best places to take photos.
All in all, I would recommend it to everyone! We had an amazing day with a fantastic guide.

I had a lovely day together with the guide Gerry. He took us through Windsor and Oxford leaving us knowing a bit more, but even more curious to learn more about UK, it's cities, achitecture, royalties.
If you want to take any tour inside any the fabulous buildings, make sure you book in advance - and maybe pick a tour where you have some more time. This one was wonderfully adjusted to the hours we had, and I must say all of the externals were all worth the trip!
Gerry was nice, funny, informative and as one could tell, very dedicated to his job.

I booked the Oxford Winsor and Eton Tour on 8th March 2020 and had an amazing time. First, we saw Winsor, which is a picturesque small town, Winsor Castle and The Long Walk. We could decide whether we wanted to join a guided tour with our tour guide through Winsor and Eton or buy a ticket and explore Winsor Castle on our own. Then, we drove to Oxford which offers an astonishing number of beautiful old colleges and other buildings. There, we had the option to buy a ticket for the Christ Church College which I can highly recommend to every Harry Potter fan although the prices have risen ridiculously.
Our tour guide, Gerry was well-prepared and organized as well as funny and entertaining. He spoke very clearly and repeated important organizational information multiple times. Over the whole trip, he seemed to be very interested in our safety. Since my friend and I, wanted to see Christ Church during our free time, he accompanied us the whole way from Oxford town centre to Christ Church and gave as additional information about the college.
We had short breaks throughout the whole day and enough time at each spot to take photos or to buy some souvenirs.
All in all, it was a fantastic trip with a great tour guide!

Despite the bad weather, we had a wonderful day in Oxford & Windsor with Discovery Tours. It was a good balance between free time and touring. Our tour guide Laura had great tips for our free time and kindly helped us to book tickets for the “Ashmolean Museum”, which is well worth seeing.

We enjoyed the trip so much last year that we returned this year. Both times we had Gerry the tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and made the trip really enjoyable. Windsor and Oxford are both worth visiting with their amazing history and architecture.

I had possibly to visit three stunning places in one day - Windsor, Eton and Oxford!

Jerry is very experienced and attentive guide who really likes his job. I received a lot of pleasure from listening to him. He gives information in gripping and captivating way. The tour was not boring with him.

If you ask how the tour can be improved I would add the references for buying entry tickets at the Winsdor palace, Christ Church and the Oxford library at the description of the tour to have possibility to book the tickets in advance.

My friend and I last weekend went to Oxford, Windsor and Eton with Discovery Tours and it was an incredible experience.

Laura is a great guide because she highlights key and interesting facts about the places’ history. That is rare to find in a guide, because sometimes most of them just overfill the tourists with irrelevant information.

Also, Discovery Tours trips are very flexible because there is time for the guided tour and after that, plenty of free time for the tourists to explore the destinations independently.

The prices are also fair for the quality of the trip: the coach is comfortable and the guidance given in the destinations is amazing. For example, they give us maps of the cities to make sure we don’t get lost.
Furthermore, my trip had people from all over the world: Italy, India, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Brazil.

That makes the atmosphere even more interesting because it gives us the chance to meet new people and exchange cultures and perspectives on a destination from outside their country with a completely different culture from theirs.

I definitely recommend Discovery Tours for all!

If you ever want to visit Oxford, Windsor, Eton or any UK destination, I would definitely recommend using Discovery Tours. I was worried it would be a boring history lesson, but my expectations were surpassed. Everything was well thought out. From the choice of the day so we had excellent weather, to allocating time in each destination so we had enough time to explore on our own, every minute detail was well planned. The coach we rode in was really comfortable, and the driver was super friendly and helpful. Our tour guide (Laura) is a gem. She was very kind, and low-key delivered the rich history of these ancient cities in a really captivating manner from the start to finish. The experience of visiting the old towns was definitely enhanced by Laura who knew exactly where to take us, and what nugget of information to impart. Totally worth it, and I would definitely go on another discovery tours trip.
