Enjoy a leisurely tour of Chichester Harbour, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Depending on the state of the tide, it may be possible to explore the mudflats, and get up close to the wading birds, while they are hunting for food! You may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of the seals which frequent the sand banks of Chichester Harbour in the summer.
We will meet and launch from Itchenor Public Slipway, and aim to paddle to the quaint harbourside town of Bosham, with the opportunity to have a quick wander around the town as a leg stretch when we arrive. During this tour you’ll get some great views of the harbour, the flora and fauna of this large natural harbour, it’s impressive bankside buildings and houses, the yachts at their moorings and under sail.
For this tour we will be using our fleet of Double Sit On Top Kayaks, as they allow us to travel distances with minimum effort. Since we are using double kayaks, please consider bringing along a friend or family member! (If you don't have a friend, we will pair you with someone else).
Pre-requisites: We ask that you are confident in/around water, as the harbour is a large expanse of water, and we wouldn’t want you to get overly concerned during the tour.
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 18:30 - 20:30 between 14th April and 14th October
We can arrange alternate evenings for group bookings
