      Great tour!
We loved it. Our guide was also an extra in the show, which made it even more special. Highly recommend.

      Port Issac Doc Martin Tour
We spent a wonderful 90 minutes with Mike who had been an extra on Doc Martin for all 9 seasons. He was a pleasure, informative not only about the show, the set, the actors and behind the scenes skuttlebut, but knowledgeable about the history of Port Issac too. We were American doing an 800 mile trip through the Southwest and Cornwall and this, along with our two night stay at the Schoolhouse, was a highlight of the trip……highly recommended…and ask for Mike!

      Tourists everywhere
You can't come to Cornwall and not visit Portwenn/ Port Isaac especially if you are a Doc Martin fan. There are only 2 car parks and they fill up very quickly so I suggest you visit early in the day or leave it till much later. We arrived just before lunchtime and were very lucky to get a spot in the main car park. The walk down to the harbour is a bit of a trek. The fishing village is lovely with quaint little cottages most of which though are holiday lets. The main locations in the TV series are easy to spot and are only a stones throw away from each other. A delight to visit, just a shame it is so busy.

A great hour spent with guide who was very knowledgable and quite comical. Was not happy that tickets cost £10 each if you bought them on day and £15 if you purchased online- which is what I did!

This was a superb way to learn about some of the history of Port Isaac , have a good tour of the village and as a Doc Martin fan visit many of the locations used in the series.

Mike Meakins was our guide he was charming , funny and very knowledgable .

Mike was a supporting actor in many of the Doc Martin episodes.

We booked our tour in Port Isaac at Nuts and more where the tour starts from. (10.00 psd ).

An hour and 15 mins well spent and we would recommend Mike and this tour to anyone visiting Port Isaac.

Recently went on a guided tour for Doc Martin in Port Isaac.
Our tour guide was Dave, who was brilliant, Dave has been an extra on the tv series and is a local from Port Isaac.
What I found really good and interesting was that Dave had insider knowledge and local knowledge about the area and the cast.
If you get a chance i would certainly recommend it, it goes round all the different parts of the locations used and Dave tells you tales and stories behind them.

An amazing trip to Port Isaac. Such a pretty fishing village made even more enjoyable by booking the guided tour. A must for any Doc Martin fan! Mike our guide was so knowledgeable that we felt that we made the most of the visit. Thank you Mike! Would definitely recommend this guided tour and the Cornish Cream tea at the Chapel Cafe was delicious!

Well I can’t review the tour having paid £15 per person for a guided tour . We did not make it due to the parking meter problems.
We were too late to take the tour.
However I was disgusted to find it was only £10 to book on the day. Come on trip advisor this is just not on.

Our guide, Dave Morgan, took us round ‘Port Wenn’ today and showed us lots of different locations used in the show. He has played various small parts over the years and was exceptionally knowledgeable. His little snippets were fascinating and added a lot of colour to our experience. He lives in the centre of Port Isaac and he was able to answer all of our questions with lots of facts. We were so intrigued that we have decided to watch the shows again. We highly recommend this tour to those with an interest in Doc Martin.

Tour guide was very enthusiastic and keen to give his group a great experience. Very knowledgeable. Friendly and happy to answer all questions.
However group was very large so sometimes difficult to hear.
We also paid £16.50 online appossed to £12.50 on the day so feel ripped off!

What a fantastic tour through Port Issac on the trail of Doc Martin. Mike was such a fantastic guide...showing us not only the obvious locations, but hidden nooks and crannies that we might not have found otherwise.

The fun bit was it was a bit of local history mixed in with snippets of TV production and Doc Martin crew true-life stories. We loved hearing about how the show was made and all that went into it.

My parents aren't as young as they once were and were worried about the hills, but the pace was such that it was no struggle at all.

    Highly recommend!

Nice way to see Port Isaac. Tour guide Dave was very friendly and relaxed. Had some good anecdotes and showed us some parts of the town that we would never have seen without him. Only disappointing thing was paying £16.50 to book online when you can just turn up and pay £12.50. Don’t waste your money on booking online. There were only 12 in our group

Wonderful tour. Our tour guide, Mike was very knowledgeable and seemed to have some connection to the Doc Martin show. We toured on the second day of our stay, so we saw most of the obvious attractions, but what was the best part of the tour was going down the small streets and alleys to see more of Port Isaac than we would have seen on our own.

Mike said he was not feeling 100%, but one would never know. I would highly recommend this tour even if you are not a Doc Martin fan!

An absolutely brilliant 90 minutes, not only seeing the locations but hearing behind-the-scenes stories of how things are filmed, what the cast and crew are like, and more.
It should be noted that you don't get to see inside most of the locations (given they're private properties, that's perfectly understandable) but that doesn't take away from the value of the tour.
Highly recommended for any Doc Martin fan!
