Gaius our roman Legionnaire and tour guide was helpful, informative and fun. Learnt about life of Roman soldiers in that environment . Highly recommend it.

Had e weekend in Chester hotel was just outside the city but with an easy pleasant walk into the main area not tiring at all plenty of independent shops as well as the usual shops with a variety of bars cafes & restaurants to choose from we went on the 30 minute river trip the commentary was informative without being boring walking round the city walls is easy and you can see the attractions on the walk stopping wherever you fancy well worth the visit

We really enjoyed our trip. The driver was so friendly and helpful. A must whilst in Chester. Penultimate stop by the river - Hickory’s smokehouse - highly recommended.

We arrived at chester bus station and was greeted by the extremely friendly and helpful Peter. We had been unable to print our tickets but peter was more than happy to help us redeem them and reccomend other things to do, such as the boat ride up the Dee, which we also did. Peter is an excellent representative of your company. As a pro tip, the boat tickets where also cheaper by booking through the bus, which is helpful for those who like to mix up their activities throughout the day. Our little one (1 yr old) loved the open bus tour and giggled her way through. I enjoyed the interesting facts on the tour and it was a lovely sunny day, which also helped! We hoped off and on the bus at different spots, such as town centre and pier. The busses where frequent and great for some of the tourist spots. We happened to get back on the bus after our boat ride and met peter again, who was his normal friendly self. We rode the bus around 1.5 times and finished our tour at chester bus station. The route is Excellent for the park and ride busses that stop right next to the sightseeing bus. The bus also stops at the train station, so handy access for anyone who travels in to Chester by public transport. The tour took around 50min per loop, with around 20-30mins between each bus.

We used this facility alot within the 24 hour bus/cruise ticket combination, and very impressed the service, and commentary aboard the bus.

The bus trip coupled with a river trip is and excellent way to see the city both with excellent commentaries.The bus guides are full of amusing and informative facts that really make it worth the money.

We parked at the race course and the bus stopped right outside (stop 10), the tour was very interesting and humerus Susan was great, so much better than headphones, a very enjoyable hour spent touring Chester, she even pointed out the nearest Wetherspoons for us!!

Got the bus and boat ticket which was great value for money. Really enjoyed both, boat trip was 30 minutes long and came with an excellent commentary. Bus trip was really informative and both driver and guide were very friendly. Overall well worth doing.

Learnt so much from this tour from the live guide we had. She went into a great amount of interesting detail and had the most amazing experience!

We joined the hop on hop off bus on a very, very wet Saturday afternoon. Despite the rain our guide, Peter, was great. He was very informative and made the trip enjoyable. We stopped off to take a trip down the river, again enjoyable. Would highly recommend, good value for money.

We all love about boat cruise and it didn’t disappoint. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. We did the joint boat and bus tours and we had a lovely time. We did however wait over 50 minutes for the bus and the tour guide did apologise.

We have used other city sightseeing tours and think this was the best one. We had Michael driving and Michael doing the tour commentary. We got a combined bus and boat ticket which was good value at £12.50. We went round from the station to the old bus station downstairs as the weather was bad and we couldn't hear all of the commentary. After lunch we then walked down to the boats, had a short boat ride then got the bus back round to the new bus station with the same staff still on. The bus took a slightly different route because of the racing. Great tour and really great staff.

we visited chester and stayed overnight before visiting the zoo the next day and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful a place it is. The park, the river, the shops absolutely stunning place. My daughters loved the park big green fields with a pond full of ducks, a park and a mini train ride. Great church ruins and tops of places to eat, have tea and cakes.

Got a joint ticket with the boat cruise. Nice tour around the city & very informative. Very scenic city

We paid £10 each as concessions for the bus tour (combined it with the half hour boat trip) and thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn’t very busy, in fact we were the only two on it for half the journey which takes about an hour. We often use these tours when visiting different cities as it helps to see most of the points of interest quickly and then we know what to revisit if we have time. We have had better and more personal commentaries, but this one was ok.
