Inclusions
  • Your tour price includes seven different locally produced beers (a mix of half pint and third pint sizes). You will have tokens for each venue in your welcome envelope. Your cross-harbour ferry is also included (fare included in welcome envelope). In the second pub you will be given a bowl of nuts.
  • Entry/Admission - Bristol Floating Harbour
Exclusions
  • No food is included, except for nuts in the second pub, but is served in two of the four venues. There are plenty of restaurants along the route of your tour and your map takes you to a finish in an area filled with independent eateries if you do fancy a bite to eat.
  • Your tokens can only be swapped for beer as stated on the cards in your welcome envelope, or for cider if preferred. The measures given for cider may differ than that stated, at the discretion of the venue.
  • Entry/Admission - The Matthew of Bristol

  • The route is flat but the total walk is around two miles so dress comfortably and be weather prepared.
  • The start point is close to the centre, so close to lots of bus stops. The bus station is a ten minute walk and Bristol Temple Meads train station is a twenty minute walk.

A wonderful way to see some of the lesser known sites while discovering delightful local beers and ciders. Clear directions and warm receptions make for a perfect afternoon/evening that you can take at your own pace.

Thank you so much for taking time out to leave these lovely comments. While I can't take the credit for the warm receptions in the venues, I'll take it for the clear directions! Cheers, Heather.

We loved this tour. Very clever idea. Went to places we wouldn't have found on our own and the walk between locations was excellent. Highly recommended, every City should do it. I posted only one picture as I wouldn't want to give anything away, that would ruin it.

Thank you so much, Maria. I think that this is the most detailed review I've ever received. Very useful and lovely to hear. I probably should say about the cider options more on the tour description, so thanks for pointing that out. I'm really glad you enjoyed yourselves!
