Daniel was absolutely fabulous in guiding us to and through Stonehenge. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable on every aspect of Stonehenge and made the entire tour fun, interesting and enlightening. And he has quite a sense of humor as well. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

I really don't have the words for how amazing Daniel was. I booked the Bath and Stonehenge tour with the Salisbury Cathedral add on for day one and the South Cotswolds with the Mamesbury Abbey for day two. Our group consisted of 5 adults ranging ages 40 - 79. He is so incredibly knowledgeable about all things Bath, was super helpful in advising other things to do, hot spots to visit, where to eat and just generally adjusting itineraries so we could pack in as much as possible. All that being said, it really was the extra care and attention that he gave my parents to make sure they were doing ok with the walking and stairs, that lunch stops were extra careful with food allergies, checked in frequently on bathroom needs, etc that really puts Daniel at THE TOP of tour guides I have experienced, and he is genuinely an exceptional human being. If you are thinking about booking with him - don't hesitate - he will NOT disappoint.

We’ve done many private tours throughout Europe. This was among the best. Daniel was knowledgeable and considerate. He made some major adjustments to accommodate us and our interests. We will recommend him to all our friends who travel.

We engaged Daniel for our 40th anniversary celebration, opting for the Wells and Cheddar Tour. So glad we sidestepped the busy Cotswolds for a ride through the countryside to the smallest city in England. Daniel is the consummate tour guide and traveler extraordinaire. Having toured around the world, he has a keen sensibility for timing, pace, information and detail (but not too much) that made our experience just right for us. Wells Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace were architectural marvels. We loved the up-close tour and tastes at an authentic Cheddar Cheese maker, complete with take-home cheeses that have been cured in nearby Cheddar caves. We also enjoyed a special treat in a stop at a local strawberry farm, plus a decadent brownie treat along the way. The finale of the day was a short but rocky hike up to the top of Cheddar Gorge for a panoramic view all the way out to the Sea. Daniel was attentive, responsive, friendly, and professional. The van was impeccably clean, all the way down to the windows, which he shined upon our pickup! Dan is high in demand, so be sure to book several months ahead of your trip. He raises the bar for warm and personal travel. Highly recommended!

Daniel provided knowledgeable and entertaining historical background for our tour of Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge. He customized a half day for my group and was a delightful companion!

My husband/I been blessed to do private tours past 20 years all over the world and Daniel is truly the best! That is saying a lot as we are discerning travelers! His communication is great as well as guiding style supplemented by iPad, music, snack - really goes above and beyond!! Did 3 hour Bath tour and his car was great for seeing views, etc. He delivers the history in easy to understand and humorous way and has the best personality!! I'm not one for writing reviews, but I've felt guilty because Daniel's tours were VERY good. Besides the Ancient Britain tour , he took us on a tour for gardens. I wanted to see the ancient ruins and my cousin wanted to see the different style gardens South of Bath. He knew the history of the sites and made the information come alive. Although he said he was not an expert on the gardens, the second days tours was excellent.

This was an amazing trip which far exceeded our expectations. The views were stunning from the Cheddar Gorge and the knowledge shared by Daniel was exceptional. Daniel was very professional at his job and nothing was too much bother for him. We left Bath with a new friend!

Dan is an excellent tour guide. He is knowledgeable about the area and is an articulate storyteller. He was accommodating to the physical needs of the three of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Dan and feel we have more knowledge about the beautiful area of Bath.

Daniel helped us every inch of the way. We booked the Stonehenge inner circle tour for the evening. Starting six months before our trip Daniel alerted me when the tickets from EnglishHeritage were available. I also forwarded the tickets to him and he took care of it all after that. He was easy to communicate with and picked us up close to our lodging. It felt like meeting an old friend as he took us through the countryside, explaining what we were seeing. He customized our tour to encompass everything that we wanted to see. You know you have a good guide when you meet up with all the other Tour groups and their guides told us we had the best one.
