DON'T BOOK! I booked this two months in advance for my dad's 85th birthday - he has limited mobility. They canceled on me the morning before derailing our plans for the day. They were very rude and completely inflexible. All other tours are sold out, and I am devastated as this was a really special trip we were planning when my dad can barely travel anymore.

Buzz was our tour guide and he did a great job showing us the city. He hit all the highlights and was very knowledgeable about the places he took us. He also answered all our questions…..even googled one about a particular tree we asked about. He had a great sense of humor and we all laughed a LOT! By the time our tour was over, we really felt we had made a new friend. Ask for Buzz if you come to Montreal and want an informative and fun tour!! (And he has a REALLY nice big SUV.)

We had our private tour with Patrick. It was a great experience! Patrick was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and just a joy to be with. We highly recommend this tour! We had a great time sightseeing this beautiful city.

Prompt, gracious. Buzz (don't call him Stanley) loves Montreal, and that, in our experience, is what makes a guide fun. Showed us the standard locations, plus the nooks and crannies that make a visit like this special. Wonderful way to spend half a day. His Escalade is impeccable.

We signed up for this tour on our last of four days in Montreal, after seeing much of the things we wanted to earlier. We told our guide what we had seen and what we wanted to see -- and it really didn't make much difference. He took us where he wanted, duplicating many of the things we'd seen, and not stopping at the pullout at Mt. Royal like we'd requested. While there were some nice views and a little information, the guide was not the best informed. WORST was that the expensive 4.0 hour tour finished at 3.5 hours! I feel like this was something that should have resulted in a discount, or at least a warning!

We had a lot of fun during the tour! The guide, Pierot, was very knowledgeable about the city, and also was a great conversationalist. We got to see Old Montreal, the Oratory, and much more.

While this is on the pricier side, I booked this private tour as a way to maximize our time in Montreal and avoid waiting for a crowded tour bus. The four hours allowed my party of three people to see several sights and spend as little (or as much) time as we wanted at each. We appreciated having our informative tour guide and an air-conditioned car waiting for us after every stop. Our tour included stops at Notre Dame Basilica, the Old Port, the Formula 1 race track on Notre Dame Island, two look-out points on Mont Royal, the city of Westmont, St. Joseph's Oratory, and Atwater Market. Some caveats: 1. We spent about 30 minutes each at the Basilica (admission fee is extra) and the Oratory (free); if you want to spend more time at either, I would suggest doing a separate visit. 2. It's sometime a bit difficult to take photos from a car, especially of larger buildings (vs. an open-air bus, for example). Our driver was very accommodating and offered to pull over to the side of the road whenever we wanted to pause. 3. If there are sights that you want to specifically see, I would recommend contacting the company in advance to see what might be possible. For example, I could have done without the Formula 1 track, even though it was nice to see Habitat 67 which is in the same area.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and informative, the vehicle was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Stanley as a guide.
