Marco was a great guide keeping us laughing all the way. Not too hard on walking due to using buses on the island but saw many beautiful parts of the island including an opportunity to go to the highest peak by chair lift.
The tour by boat was not as personal due to being on a larger boat but the captain got us as close to all the beautiful coves as he could, however, they don't go into the blue grotto...
This was great for us as suited our needs of late 50 somethings as the sun can properly drain your energy

The trip gave a good overview of the island and finished with a good boat tour including seeing some of the lagoons and passing through the lovers arch. Unfortuatley we did not go up the chair lift in Anacapri and the lemoncello tasting was a disapponting tiny sip. Lunch portions are small but good ravioli.

We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. The company and our tour guides (Marco & Madeline) were great!
We went to Capri and then Anacapri shortly after. We really enjoyed the tour itself, the guides were super knowledgeable and gave us tons of great information and we also liked the Freedom we had to walk around and explore some ourselves during the tour.
The company also held our luggage for the tour which we were so thankful for!
Overall 10/10 would recommend!

We were picked up from our meeting spot which was half an hour away from our accommodation and driven 10 minutes to the harbour. When we were dropped off we were given no instructions about ticket collection, boat timings, who our tour guides were, or which boat to get on (or that there was even more than one boat!).
The person at the ticket desk told us to just stay around the harbour and we would all walk to the boat together, with no indication of timing or which specific boat we would be departing on. When we noticed this person walking over to the boat, we followed, unaware that this was the incorrect boat because of the lack of information provided to us. At no point were there any announcements as to the boat’s destination. We gave our printed tickets that boldly stated ‘Amalfi’ and ‘Portici’ to the ticket collectors which they took without a second glance, tearing off and keeping the ticket stub. We were also wearing bright yellow wristbands that signified us as Amalfi tourists not Capri tourists, to which the boat staff paid no mind. There were no announcements about the boat’s destination and we were not even aware we were on the wrong boat until an hour into the ride, and that we were actually headed to Capri. Although we were accommodated with a boat tour of Capri, this could have all been avoided if there was a single ounce of information given to us at any point prior to boarding.
Also on the boat they repeatedly announced over the loud speakers that they were offering to sell us bottled water for an ‘amazing’ price of only €1 and on the island bottled water would cost €3 minimum. This was not true.
Once we landed on the island of Capri we were shepherded among hundreds of tourists in the hot sun with little organization. We felt constantly stressed about losing our guide among the chaos.
The boat tour we were offered around Capri was disappointing. We were squished onto an overcrowded boat, which made it difficult to take any pictures. The toilet on this boat was locked for the hour long ride. The tour information was underwhelming, for example pointing out rock formations that look like different animals. The tour felt very rushed and uncomfortable.
On the island, it costs an additional €15 for one roundtrip bus ticket in order to see anything, it is almost impossible to see the majority of the island without a bus. This is not mentioned anywhere on the tour details. To further this the bus back to the marina was chaotic due to the overcrowding of tourists and tour guides claiming whole buses for their tour group. We had serious concerns that we would not make it to the harbour in time for our boat. We were never informed that getting a bus back to the harbour would be an issue and were almost late for our boat. This was caused by HP Travel tour guides again not providing any meaningful information.
There was no suggestion of any type of financial compensation for the mistake that the company made and for our inconvenience, as we had planned our entire day in Amalfi months ago and had bookings made. We tried to make the most out of the experience, but even if we had considered a trip to Capri, this tour would have been so disappointing. Please avoid this company.

La recensione non è veritiera, perchè non è vero che i clienti non hanno ricevuto le giuste informazioni. Gli era stato chiaramente detto che non si sarebbero dovuti allontanare dalla biglietteria perchè da li a breve sarebbero cominciate le operazioni di imbarco. Inoltre, sui loro ticket c'era scritto che la partenza sarebbe stata alle 8.30 e nonostante questo non si sono presentati all'imbarco in tempo. Si sono presentati invece successivamente, ovvero alle 8.50 circa quando sono poi cominciate le operazioni di imbarco della partenza successiva verso l'isola di Capri. La nostra accompagnatrice a bordo Marlene li ha accolti e gli ha offerto la possibilità di effettuare comunque un tour senza alcun tipo di supplemento o penale. Per la verità loro durante la giornata si sono mostrati anche grati per l'opportunità offertagli e per aver evitato loro di perdere tutto il denaro speso per la prenotazione. Per quanto riguarda invece la mancanza di informazioni che loro ci accusano di non aver fornito, basta leggere tutte le altre nostre recensioni per capire che i suggerimenti, le informazioni e la disponibilità dei nostri accompagnatori sull'isola di Capri è massima. Noi provvediamo a suggerire dei servizi che possano rendere più agevole la visita sull'isola, come appunto i bus turistici che permettono di visitare sia Capri che Anacapri, specificando che il tempo di attesa è di circa 20 minuti su ogni fermata. Di nuovo, i clienti anche per il rientro al porto di sono comportati allo stesso modo del mattino, pretendendo che i bus fossero li per loro all'ultimo secondo per tornare al porto.
Purtroppo il nostro impegno non può compensare la sconsideratezza e la mancanza di attenzione da parte dei viaggiatori.
Chiediamo dunque, siccome è una recensione fuorviante, che venga oscurata o eliminata.

Would have liked more information about the island with guide as “tour” suggests and thought our boat tour was going to be more intimate. On land only 7 of us which was great but tour essentially consisted of 3 private transfers with some information provided about the island along the way. In Capri we were dropped off in the garden with free time. Then to anacapri with more free time, limoncello tasting, took a chair lift to top (cost extra 12€ would have been nice to be included) and lunch (be careful we were charged 10% Iva x2 and had to get it corrected. Lastly driven back down to port where we thought we were going to have boat tour with same 7 people instead our guid left us to board a ferri with about 100 people. Great views but information was broadcasted over boat speaker and was difficult to hear. Overall not exactly as advertised.

It could look like a long day but with Stefania as a guide time literally flies! She is very precise and fully excited about the historical notions that she has previously and painstakingly looked for in books and libraries to make sure they were true ;) but she is also nice and down to earth, a real good company!
The landscapes and naturalistic sea views the island offers your eyes are breathtaking and romantic.
The best view can be enjoyed on the top of the hill easily reachable by cable railway where you can take amazing picts.
The remaining mysteries and stories around this place can be revealed by the awesome guide Stefania, who also is ready to go off the usual track to satisfy all curiosities and needs.
Enjoy your full day experience in Capri!

Myself and my partner were on holiday in Sorrento and booked the Capri and Ana capri sea tour ad part of our Tui holiday. HP Tour were the agents for that trip. We got picked up from our hotel and were taken to the port of Piano Sorrento where Stefania from HP Tour was waiting for us and we started our tour. This was one of the best informative tours we ever had. The depth of historical knowledge of the area and level of tour guide must be of the best we ever had. As Stefania was from the area and a University graduate of History, her passion for the area was clearly visible as she tirelessly gave us a near constant stream of information as well as cultural tips from the area. Once the sea trip was over, we then decided to book another trip for a land guided tour of Capri with Stefania and it was an excellent choice as we learnt so much about the area and the history from its birth to this date. We also decided to take the chair lift to the top and Stefania managed to get us past the massive queue and we were on our way to the top of the mountain where we were rewarded with stunning views.
As we descented down the mountain Stefania met us and she pointed us to a local shop where we got lunch for a fraction of the price (Capri is super expensive). Yet another example of where local knowledge is invaluable. During the trip we never had to wait for transport or queue anywhere. At the end of a long day as we returned from Capri, a bus was waiting for us and we were taken back to our hotel. All in all we had an amazing day and we can't recommend HP Travel enough and in particular Stefania. It was a magic trip and myself and my partner will remember it for a long time.

My wife and I recently vacationed in Italy by rental car starting in Lecce, Matera, and Piano di Sorrento. We met two young women who worked for HP Travel while they were selling ferry tickets to Capri. We bought tickets and took a fun small ferry ride from Piano di Sorrento to Capri and bought a tour of Anacapri and Capri from Stefania who was our guide for the day. It was wonderful. Stefania is from the region that we recently visited so we had a lot to talk about on the ferry. She was an amazing guide to some of the best places in Capri and Anacapri. HP Tours was a great company. I am a notoriously hard person to guide because of my photography which tends to slow things down. And sometimes I wander....
But Stefania was wise to my act and was able to get us to the important parts of the island with humor and grace. HP Tours was a bargain. If you are planning a trip to Capri or Sorrento, do yourself a favor and find them. We had a wonderful experience!

A once-in-a-lifetime visit to Capri island. Honestly the best English-speaking tour-guide we have met in Italy so far and thankfully, very compliant with Covid19 regulations at this time. Marco provided the perfect combination of fun facts, historical information and local insights of the whole island. We would highly recommend and we hope to see you again, Marco!
